Today YouTube Originals premieres “The Workout Badges,” the new fitness series for preschoolers that combines the live action of “The Body Coach” Joe Wicks, with the educational animated series Hey Duggee. The newest adventures of this free-to-stream series are available today, Wednesday, September 22 at 8AM,PT/11AM,ET exclusively on The Body Coach TV’s official YouTube channel and the YouTube Kids app. 13 new episodes will roll-out weekdays beginning September 22.

YouTube’s favorite exercise coach, Joe Wicks, of the popular The Body Coach TV and Hey Duggee join forces In the most exciting blend of animation and live action. Together, they lead a series of short, energetic workouts teaching kids the importance of physical exercise. There’s lots to explore and learn along the way as the squirrels and children get their hearts pumping and their energy flowing in the hope of earning a coveted Workout Badge.

During the show, Joe and Hey Duggee encourage their young audience to join them in different exercise routines. Each instructional video is guided by Joe and a group of school kids that “interact” with Hey Duggee animation. The show features animation of Hey Duggee characters responding to, and copying the exercise moves.

Joe Wicks’ at-home workout series “PE With Joe” entertained and kept millions of families active during the COVID-19 lockdowns and topped YouTube’s list of most popular UK content in 2020.

YouTube Originals today released the official trailer for “BookTube Jr.” – a new preschool series featuring the world’s most renowned children’s book authors. Connecting kids and their favorite authors in a conversation about storytelling, “BookTube Jr.” is unlike any other kids reading show. This “book club” made for kids debuts September 24at 9AM,PT/12PM,ET, with the first four episodes and authors including Joanna Ho, Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Avery Monsen and Todd Parr, on the YouTube Originals for Kids & Family channel and the YouTube Kids app. The remaining four episodes will premiere in November with authors such as “New Girl” star Max Greenfield, Caldecott Medalist Jon Klassen, Olympic medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad and NFL veteran Marcus Smith II.

Feature-Length Documentary Based on Pope Francis’ Environment Encyclical Will Debut on the Global Platform Early 2022

LOS ANGELES, CA, September 15, 2021 — YouTube Originals has ordered “Laudato Si’,” a feature-length documentary from the BAFTA and OSCAR(R)-winning production company Off The Fence, (My Octopus Teacher) produced in partnership with the Laudato Si’ Movement and in collaboration with the Vatican. Set to debut on YouTube in early 2022, “Laudato Si’ is based on Pope Francis’s second encyclical and provides an urgent call to action on protecting our planet and each other.

With FaZe Rug at the helm, “#1 Chicken” starts with 8 creators who compete against each other in one terrifying ‘Chicken Challenge’ per episode. Streaming Apps Join Netflix as First Three Available Directly from Spectrum Guide
Spectrum today announced the launch of HBO Max and YouTube within Spectrum Guide on eligible devices across its service area, providing customers convenient access to the streaming services directly from the Spectrum TV platform.

“As the video landscape continues to change, we are evolving our products and making it easier for our customers to watch what they want by providing access to streaming apps from convenient launch points within the Spectrum TV experience,” said Elena Ritchie, Group Vice President, Video Experience. “We look forward to growing this library and expect to launch more streaming video apps in the coming months.”

With HBO Max and YouTube launched within Spectrum’s service area, they are now automatically available to customers with eligible devices and Spectrum Internet. Customers can tune directly to channel 2003 for YouTube or 2004 for HBO Max, use the guide’s search function, or look for the logos in the Apps menu within Spectrum Guide.

HBO Max gives Spectrum customers more than 13,000 hours of curated premium content, featuring the iconic brands of HBO, Warner Bros., DC, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and more. Today, YouTube Originals launched three new episodes of “Kid Correspondent,” with kid anchors Riah and Titus and their crew of young reporters helping families as they get ready to go back to school. This latest batch of “Kid Correspondent” episodes features appearances from “guest grown-ups” Hoda Kotb, Roi Fabito, and Auli’i Cravalho. Episodes 1, 2 and 3 are free-to-stream today on the YouTube Originals for Kids & Family and the SoulPancake channels. “Kid Correspondent” will also be available through the YouTube Kids app.

In addition to today’s new episodes, “Kid Correspondent” will return later this year with additional three-episode installments focused on topics like Sustainability (October) and Holidays (November/December). Special guest grown-ups for later installments include Sophia Bush, Rainn Wilson, Marcus Samuelsson, The Merrell Twins and Jerry O’Connell.

“Kid Correspondent,” from SoulPancake and Participant, is an inquiry-based kids and family program from the creators of Kid President that helps explore important lessons in a fun and approachable way while inspiring kids and families to take action. · How Can I Be A Great Friend?: Our reporters bump up their friendship skills at Best Friend Boot Camp, talk to other kids about their friends, and get the inside scoop on all the dos and don’ts of friendship (like sharing, caring and not comparing!).

· How Can I Fail Awesomely?: Making mistakes can feel terrible, but what if making mistakes was actually a good thing? Our Daring Reporter dares kids to learn from their mistakes, double dares them to try again, and helps them discover what it means to have resilience.
Last year, on the “Kid Correspondent” Election Special, Riah and a crew of kid reporters investigated the democratic process and learned life lessons like how to have healthy disagreements, or how to use a decision tree to help make tough decisions. “Kid Correspondent” also featured guest appearances from celebrities and YouTube Creators including Kristen Bell, Mandy Moore, Rainn Wilson, Soledad O’Brien, Robin Roberts, Lisa Loeb, Rosanna Pansino and more.
