May 10, 2021 (Burbank, CA) – The CW Network announced today that it is adding the return of THE OUTPOST to its summer schedule and shifting some of its previously announced premieres, including new dates for BURDEN OF TRUTH and CORONER.

THE OUTPOST joins The CW’s supersized summer of original programming, including the previously announced series premieres of THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH and WELLINGTON PARANORMAL as well as the returns of DC’S STARGIRL, DEAD PIXELS, IN THE DARK, CORONER, ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, RIVERDALE, SUPERGIRL and BURDEN OF TRUTH. The season premiere for MASTERS OF ILLUSION, previously announced to air this summer, will be announced at a later date.

The fantasy adventure series THE OUTPOST will return to The CW on Thursday, July 15 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) following an original episode of The CW’s hit series WALKER (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

April 29, 2021 (Burbank, CA) ─ The CW Network today announced additional summer 2021 premiere dates for the U.S. broadcast debut of WELLINGTON PARANORMAL, as well as fan favorites DC’S STARGIRL, DEAD PIXELS and SUPERGIRL, in addition to alternative series MASTERS OF ILLUSION. The network also announced the returns of IN THE DARK, CORONER, ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, RIVERDALE and BURDEN OF TRUTH.

The third season of IN THE DARK returns to The CW with a new premiere date Wednesday, June 23 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) following an original episode of the new hit series KUNG FU (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT). IN THE DARK had previously been announced to premiere June 9.

The horror-comedy WELLINGTON PARANORMAL, a spinoff of the vampire mockumentary film “What We Do In The Shadows,” from award-winning creators Jemaine Clement (“Flight of the Conchords”) and Taika Waititi (“Jojo Rabbit”), will make its U.S. broadcast debut on The CW with back-to-back original episodes airing Sunday, July 11 (9:00-9:30pm ET/PT and 9:30-10:00pm ET/PT). The following week, on Sunday, July 18, WELLINGTON PARANORMAL (9:00-9:30pm ET/PT) will be paired with the return of the British comedy DEAD PIXELS (9:30-10:00pm ET/PT), back for its second season. “Wellington Paranormal” To Stream on Both The CW’s Digital Platforms and HBOMax Following Its Broadcast On The CW Network

March 24, 2021 (Burbank, CA) ─ The CW Network announced today the acquisition of WELLINGTON PARANORMAL in partnership with HBOMax. A spinoff of the vampire mockumentary film “What We Do In The Shadows,” from award-winning creators Jemaine Clement (“Flight of the Conchords”) and Taika Waititi (“Jojo Rabbit”), the New Zealand based WELLINGTON PARANORMAL will make its U.S. broadcast debut on The CW. The horror-comedy series is slated for the network’s summer schedule. Dates and times to be announced at a later time.

WELLINGTON PARANORMAL marks the first co-acquisition of a primetime series between The CW Network and HBOMax. Every episode of the supernatural comedy series will first air on The CW and will be available to stream on the network’s free, ad-supported digital platforms (The CW app and CWTV.com) and WarnerMedia’s subscription-based platform, HBOMax, the day following its broadcast, throughout the season.

WELLINGTON PARANORMAL follows the adventures of Officers O’Leary (Karen O’Leary, “What We Do In The Shadows”) and Minogue (Mike Minogue, “What We Do In The Shadows”), hard-working members of the Wellington constabulary’s paranormal unit who, under the supervision of Sergeant Maaka (Maaka Pohatu, “Savage”), investigate supernatural occurrences that arise in the capital of New Zealand on a surprisingly regular basis.

Created by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, who serve as executive producers of the series with Paul Yates, WELLINGTON PARANORMAL is produced by The New Zealand Documentary Board.
