Together, they would form one of the most popular Doctor/companion duos of all time. Although the season was crippled behind-the-scenes by strike action (resulting in the season finale being abandoned part-way through production), it remains a beloved slice of Doctor Who history that features the return of Davros and the Daleks, and one of the all-time classic stories: Douglas Adams’ own City Of Death. 7-disc set.
NOTE: this title was originally announced for North American release on April 19th, then delayed until May 10th. Now the studio has rescheduled it again, THIS time making it earlier than even the original date! Look for it on April 5th.

Created and co-written by Erin White and produced by Libertine Pictures(Daffodils, Mystic) and EQ Media Group (Troppo, At Home with Julia, Timothy, Rake, Jack Irish and Doctor Doctor) in association with Hardy White Pictures, Under the Vines stars Rebecca Gibney (Wanted, Packed to the Rafters, Winter) and Charles Edwards (The Lord of the Rings prequel, The Crown, Downton Abbey) as two unlikely city slickers who inherit a failing vineyard in rural New Zealand.

Season two will see lovable socialite Daisy Monroe (Gibney) and London lawyer Louis Oakley (Edwards) continue to navigate running the Otago winery they inherited. Under the Vines is produced by Carmen J Leonard and executive produced by Gibney and Richard Fletcher for Libertine Pictures, and Brendan Dahill for EQ Media Group. The series’ writers are Tim Balme (The Sounds, The Brokenwood Mysteries) for the first episode with other episodes written by Nick Ward, J C Stewart-Te Whiu, Kathryn Burnett, Harry McNaughton, and series creator Erin White.
