TODAY Tops GMA in Total Viewers Last Thursday, Posts Closest Weekly Gap with GMA in 7 Weeks

NEW YORK – September 20, 2022 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number-one morning show in the key demo for the 2021-22 season, topping ABC’s “Good Morning America” for 7 straight seasons. No other network morning show has won the key demo for as many consecutive seasons as TODAY.

Last week, TODAY won in the key demo, marking its first back-to-back demo win in 9 weeks. TODAY saw its biggest total viewer delivery in 14 weeks and also won in total viewers Thursday morning. TODAY posted its narrowest total-viewer gap with GMA in seven weeks, improving week over week and year over year.

Additionally, TODAY Digital reached over 11 million unique visitors last week.

NEW YORK – September 13, 2022 – NBC News’ TODAY was the number-one morning show last week topping ABC’s “Good Morning America” in the key demo A25-54, its best advantage in 20 weeks. TODAY also posted its largest total viewer delivery in 13 weeks, and was the only morning program to grow across the board versus the prior week.

Season to date, TODAY is the top-rated morning show in the key demo for seven years straight, and number-one in A18-49 for 29 years straight.

Last week, TODAY Digital reached 15.4 million unique visitors, growing both week over week and year over year.

NEW YORK – September 7, 2022 – Starting this week, NBC’s TODAY will get an all-access NFL pass, all season long. In a brand new series, TODAY’s “Inside The Game” will feature special coverage of the NFL, including exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the biggest games in football. Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb will kick off the series Thursday night with a watch party live on Rockefeller Plaza as the Buffalo Bills take on the Los Angeles Rams in the league’s season opener. Fan passes to join the party are available at TODAY.com/Plaza.

TODAY will give fans an inside look at each week’s NFL matchup on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Anchors and correspondents will feature on-the-ground coverage of NFL teams and players from across the country.

This Sunday, September 11, Savannah Guthrie will have never-before-seen game day access at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. She will be on the field, in the locker room and in the stands as the Cowboys face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Guthrie will broadcast TODAY live from the stadium Monday, September 12.
