Disney Branded Television today revealed new projects and released never-before-seen content for its series and movies across Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Junior during Disney’s Epic Entertainment Showcase: The Musical: The Extravaganza! at D23 Expo 2022 in Anaheim, California. The announcements were made by Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis with some help from the casts and creative teams of current and upcoming series and movies across Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Junior.

“At Disney Branded Television, we create shows full of magic, adventure, thrill and heart that resonate with audiences around the world,” said Davis. “Our announcements today spotlight the breadth and depth of our commitment to entertaining fans of all ages, across animation, live-action series and movies, unscripted and documentaries.”

Key premiere dates and trailers unveiled during the Showcase include the following:

· “American Born Chinese” – first look at the exciting new Disney+ Original series coming in 2023

· “Big Shot” – season two, all episodes streaming on Disney+ on Oct. 12

· “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” – debuts Feb. 10 on Disney Channel and shortly thereafter on Disney+ – first trailer released

· Three new unscripted holiday specials announced for Disney+ streaming this holiday season: “Best in Snow,” an action-packed winter competition event hosted by Titus Burgess; “Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays,” following the superstar a cappella group as they work to find inspiration for their annual holiday album; and “The Hip Hop Nutcracker,” a modern reimagining of a holiday classic that fuses the worlds of hip-hop and classical music to put a fresh spin on a beloved tale.

· In season four of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” after an epic summer at Camp Shallow Lake, the Wildcats return to East High where they will prepare a stage production of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year.” On their first day back, the principal announces that Disney has decided to make the long-awaited “High School Musical 4: The Reunion” movie on location at their beloved high school, and our Wildcats will be playing featured extras in the movie. It’s season four, and it’s now or never.

Based on the genre-hopping graphic novel by Gene Luen Yang, “American Born Chinese” tells the story of Jin Wang, an average teenager juggling his high school social life with his home life. Marvyn’s (John Stamos) latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN, and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (SaraEcheagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s suddenly starting to lose his Santa magic; and, more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the North Pole. With a lot of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

The Disney+ Original series “The Santa Clauses” stars Tim Allen, Elizabeth Mitchell, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Devin Bright, Austin Kane, Matilda Lawler, Rupali Redd and Kal Penn. “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”

“Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,” based on Marvel’s hit comic books, follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.

“Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” stars Diamond White as Lunella (aka Moon Girl); Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur; Alfre Woodard as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s mom, Adria; Jermaine Fowler as Lunella’s dad, James Jr.; Gary Anthony Williams as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops; and series executive producer Laurence Fishburne in the recurring role of The Beyonder, a curious and mischievous trickster.

When she finds out that she has been put on the waitlist, she is determined to do whatever she can do to get herself accepted, even if that means asking for help from the one person she abhors – popular all-star jock Graham Lansing, whose father is a powerful senator and Harvard alum. Once Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she begins to realize there’s more to him than she thought and perhaps something more to life than Harvard.

The comedy series follows The Electric Mayhem Band – Dr. Teeth on vocals and keyboards, Animal on drums, Floyd Pepper on vocals and bass, Janice on vocals and lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone and Lips on trumpet – on an epic, music-filled journey to record their first-ever studio album. “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be “The Proud Family” without Penny’s loyal crew: Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, Zoey Howzer and Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, among others.

“Best in Snow” is a festive holiday special, hosted by Tituss Burgess, featuring teams from around the world transported to a magical snowy village, Snowdome, and thrown into a spirited competition to compete for the title of Best in Snow. With the help of Snowdome’s finest carvers, teams will transform their 10-foot, 20-ton blocks of snow into beautiful creations inspired by Pixar, Marvel, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios and The Muppets Studio. The teams will take family favorites such as Moana, Coco and The Lion King, and bring the characters to life in a way you’ve never seen before – in snow! Spectacular snow sculptures and lively musical performances from Tituss Burgess, Kermit the Frog and DCappella make this an action-packed winter event for the entire family.

To make matters worse, their well-intentioned but misguided manager mistakenly locks them in a magic mailroom. But with the help of some Disney magic, we’re soon on a whirlwind tour around the world, discovering holiday traditions and inspiration from Pentatonix fans all around the globe: from Tokyo to Grenada, Ghana to Mexico and Iceland. The fun-filled journey leads the group to realize that wherever we find ourselves, the holidays offer the perfect opportunity to discover how much we have in common and that it really is a small world after all!

Run-D.M.C.’s Rev Run brings us along for a hip-hop reimagining of The Nutcracker ballet set in New York City. It’s the night of the annual New Year’s Eve block party and Maria-Clara’s (Caché Melvin) mom and pop (Allison Holker Boss and Stephen “tWitch’ Boss) aren’t getting along … and it’s bringing her down. Maria-Clara embarks on a holiday adventure to bring her parents back together, finding help along the way from the magical toymaker, Drosselmeyer (Comfort Fedoke), and the Nutcracker (Du-Shant “Fik-shun” Stegall) whom she brings to life.

Maria-Clara’s journey takes her from the streets of New York to fantasy worlds where she battles with mice and toy soldiers (Viktor White, BDash, Kevin “Konkrete” Davis”), and back in time to the Land of Sweets in order to find the key to unlock her holiday wish. Will it be enough to rekindle her parents’ lost love before the clock strikes midnight? The special features best-in-class dancers Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tiler Peck, KidaTheGreat AKA Kida Burns, the Jabbawockeez as magical snowflakes, and more.

Zed is anticipating an athletic scholarship that will make him the first zombie to attend college, and Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s first international cheer-off competition when mysterious extraterrestrial beings appear around Seabrook, provoking something other than friendly competition.

“Under Wraps 2” picks up as Marshall, Gilbert and Amy are getting ready to attend Amy’s father’s Spooktacular Halloween-themed wedding. However, plans soon go awry when the three friends discover their mummy pal Harold and his beloved Rose may be in danger. Sobek, an evil mummy with a 1,000-year-old grudge against his best friend-turned-bitter-rival, Harold, is unexpectedly awakened and out for revenge. With help from his hypnotized lacky Larry, Sobek kidnaps Rose. Amy, Gilbert, Marshall, Buzzy and Harold must use their skills once again to save her and get back in time to attend the wedding.

BURBANK, Calif. (April 18, 2022) – “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” is in production on a second season for Disney+. From Disney Television Animation, the series’ season one finale begins streaming Wednesday, April 20 exclusively on Disney+. The series, a critically acclaimed revival of Disney’s groundbreaking “The Proud Family,” is executive-produced by its creator Bruce W. Smith, and Ralph Farquhar.

“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be “The Proud Family” without Penny’s loyal crew Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer, among others.

BURBANK, Calif. (March 28, 2022): Watch as Al Roker, Lena Waithe and Lamorne Morris step into the voice booth and bring their characters to life for “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.” This new featurette includes behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the guest cast, as well as the show’s creator and executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar. Additional guest stars for this episode include Jaden Smith, “Desus Nice” Baker, Jeremy O. Harris, Logan Browning, Bresha Webb, Karrie Martin, Ashton Sanders and Holly Winter.

In the episode, titled “When You Wish Upon a Roker,” Oscar embarrasses Penny when he insists on chaperoning her disastrous first date with Kareem. Frustrated by her lack of freedom, Penny makes a deal with the master of mirth and mischief himself, Al Roker. Roker grants Penny’s wish to be a college student and suddenly she and her crew are coeds able to do anything they want. Penny struggles to balance responsibility and freedom, forcing her to confront the fact that she may not be emotionally ready to be on her own. The episode premieres Wednesday, March 30 on Disney+.

The series picks up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and includes her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Of course, it would not be “The Proud Family” without Penny’s loyal crew Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer, among others.

“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” is now streaming, with new episodes each Wednesday, only on Disney+.

Writer/Producer/Director Latoya Raveneau Signs Overall Deal With Disney Television Animation
Executive Producer of ‘Rise Up, Sing Out’ and Director of ‘The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’ on Disney+

Writer/producer/director Latoya Raveneau has entered into an overall deal at Disney to develop and produce animated projects with preeminent animation studios Disney Television Animation and 20th Television Animation and includes terms for live-action content development. The announcement was made by Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television.

Davis said, “We’re all delighted that Latoya chose Disney to be her creative home, and we’re looking forward to the fresh and inspirational stories she will create in the kids and family space.”

Through this wide-ranging agreement, Raveneau is developing a pilot at Disney Branded Television’s animation studio, Disney Television Animation, under the leadership of Meredith Roberts, senior vice president/general manager, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television. A leader in kids and family animation, Disney Branded Television produces “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” “Monsters at Work,” “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery,” “Big City Greens,” “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends,” “Mickey Mouse Funhouse,” “The Ghost and Molly McGee,” “The Owl House,” “Amphibia” “Minnie’s Bow-Toons,” and the upcoming “Primos,” “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” and “Firebuds.”

Raveneau will also develop projects for 20th Television Animation under the leadership of Marci Proietto, the studio’s executive vice president. 20th Television Animation is home to the most iconic adult animation, including “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “American Dad” and “Solar Opposites.”

Meredith Roberts said, “Latoya is a rare and uniquely talented person who elevates everything she touches, and her creative sensibilities span stories for preschool, kids, families and adults. She’s one of the most natural, talented storytellers I have ever encountered, and we are proud to be supporting her vision.”

Raveneau is currently directing Disney Television Animation’s newly debuted series “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” on Disney+ and is executive producer with Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter (The Roots) of the recently debuted animated shorts “Rise Up, Sing Out” on Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Junior. She was also screenwriter on Disney Junior’s upcoming musical series “Eureka!”

Dedicated to representation and mentorship, Raveneau is featured in a Disney Channel “Reimagine Tomorrow” interstitial, a conversation about role models with Yolanda Renee King, teen human rights activist and granddaughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. The segment was directed by B. Monet. Raveneau began her professional career as a production assistant on Disney Junior’s “Sheriff Callie’s Wild West” and, since then, has worked as a writer, storyboard artist and director on multiple animated series. Her storyboard credits include Disney’s “Miles From Tomorrowland” and “Puppy Dog Pals.” She also served as a writer on the Netflix preschool series “Super Monster” and assistant-directed the Adult Swim series “Final Space.”

A dynamic leader within her industry and a seasoned public speaker, Raveneau has collaborated with Banff’s World Media Festival, Black Women Animate and ASIFA-Hollywood. In January 2021, she was honored with the Next Gen Award from the inaugural Black in Animation Awards.

She earned a Master of Fine Arts in animation and is a summa cum laude graduate with a bachelor’s in fine arts and English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA, she was lauded with its Director’s Spotlight Award for Short Animated Films, the Matt Groening Initiative for Short Animated Films, and the Thompson Prize in English for Best Creative Writing Thesis in 2012.

Groundbreaking Disney Junior Series ‘Doc McStuffins’ Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Disney Branded Television is adding new titles to a growing slate of premium original programming for kids, tweens, teens and families across Disney+ and Disney Channels. Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis announced these projects along with some key casting news today during the Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour, where she welcomed the press and delivered an overview of the brand’s legacy, values and content pipeline.

The titles that were announced today across the live-action, unscripted and animated space underscore Disney Branded Television’s commitment to serving audiences with exceptional, imaginative and aspirational stories from fresh, diverse voices and talent.

Davis also announced that GRAMMY® and Tony Award® winner Daveed Diggs will narrate the “The Crossover” series. Announced earlier today, Tony and Academy Award® winner Catherine Zeta-Jones joins the cast of the “National Treasure” series, and Michelle Yeoh stars alongside an international cast in the upcoming series “American Born Chinese.”

Davis said: “With each one of these projects, we see an opportunity to build upon the strong foundation of storytelling that is a hallmark of the Disney brand. I am so proud to be working with some of the most creative and diverse talent in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera, to bring these fresh, inventive and impactful stories — new and reimagined — to life for our audiences to enjoy, regardless of platform.”

Additionally, during today’s presentation, Davis announced a milestone as Disney Junior’s groundbreaking animated series “Doc McStuffins” will turn 10 this year. Since it premiered in March 2012, the Peabody Award-winning series — the first animated series for preschoolers to feature a Black female lead — has helped open the door for other representation breakthroughs in media and even inspired some entries to the medical field. To celebrate the anniversary, a new animated music special inspired by the pioneering series is in the works for a debut later this year, and Disney Junior will air episodes daily throughout the month of March, including a marathon on Wednesday, March 23, the anniversary of its premiere. In addition, Disney Junior will unveil a new 10th anniversary Doc McStuffins doll from its licensee Just Play, and Walt Disney Records will debut a new digital single, “The Doc is 10,” performed by Laya DeLeon Hayes on Friday, March 18.

Not long after, Griffin learns that the hotel is rumored to be haunted by a ghost. Griffin and his best friend Harper, a bright-eyed, mystery-obsessed classmate, and Savannah, a girl who lives in the 1960s, work together to solve the mysteries of the supernatural forces at The Tremont by traveling through time via a secret portal in the basement of the hotel. Season two of the series took Griffin, Harper and Savannah back to the 1930 and 1962 to learn more about Harper’s family’s deep-seated connection to the hotel. In Season Three, a new ghost will torment The Tremont. Also, Griffin will travel to the future and then back to his present, where he and Harper will have to change the timelines of their lives in order to save their friendship and their families.

The main characters are two girls, an adventurous city kid named Tilly and the more risk-averse Birdie, who befriends her when Tilly’s family moves to a campground while her scientist mom is doing field research on forest streams. As the girls observe their mother’s careers and interests and begin to explore and discover the magic of nature all around them, they develop a supportive friendship and a deep understanding of and appreciation for the natural world. Groundbreaking Disney Junior Series ‘Doc McStuffins’ Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Disney Branded Television is adding new titles to a growing slate of premium original programming for kids, tweens, teens and families across Disney+ and Disney Channels. Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis announced these projects along with some key casting news today during the Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour, where she welcomed the press and delivered an overview of the brand’s legacy, values and content pipeline.

The titles that were announced today across the live-action, unscripted and animated space underscore Disney Branded Television’s commitment to serving audiences with exceptional, imaginative and aspirational stories from fresh, diverse voices and talent.

Davis also announced that acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora will join the cast of the “Beauty and the Beast” (working title) prequel limited series, GRAMMY® and Tony Award® winner Daveed Diggs will narrate the “The Crossover” series. Announced earlier today, Tony and Academy Award® winner Catherine Zeta-Jones joins the cast of the “National Treasure” series, and Michelle Yeoh stars alongside an international cast in the upcoming series “American Born Chinese.”

Davis said: “With each one of these projects, we see an opportunity to build upon the strong foundation of storytelling that is a hallmark of the Disney brand. I am so proud to be working with some of the most creative and diverse talent in the industry, both in front of and behind the camera, to bring these fresh, inventive and impactful stories — new and reimagined — to life for our audiences to enjoy, regardless of platform.”

Additionally, during today’s presentation, Davis announced a milestone as Disney Junior’s groundbreaking animated series “Doc McStuffins” will turn 10 this year. Since it premiered in March 2012, the Peabody Award-winning series — the first animated series for preschoolers to feature a Black female lead — has helped open the door for other representation breakthroughs in media and even inspired some entries to the medical field. To celebrate the anniversary, a new animated music special inspired by the pioneering series is in the works for a debut later this year, and Disney Junior will air episodes daily throughout the month of March, including a marathon on Wednesday, March 23, the anniversary of its premiere. In addition, Disney Junior will unveil a new 10th anniversary Doc McStuffins doll from its licensee Just Play, and Walt Disney Records will debut a new digital single, “The Doc is 10,” performed by Laya DeLeon Hayes on Friday, March 18.

A live-action, time-travel mystery series, “Secrets of Sulphur Springs” follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell, whose family has uprooted their lives to move to a new town and take ownership of an abandoned hotel, The Tremont, in hopes of restoring it back to the lively vacation destination it once was. Not long after, Griffin learns that the hotel is rumored to be haunted by a ghost. Griffin and his best friend Harper, a bright-eyed, mystery-obsessed classmate, and Savannah, a girl who lives in the 1960s, work together to solve the mysteries of the supernatural forces at The Tremont by traveling through time via a secret portal in the basement of the hotel. Season two of the series took Griffin, Harper and Savannah back to the 1930 and 1962 to learn more about Harper’s family’s deep-seated connection to the hotel. In Season Three, a new ghost will torment The Tremont. Also, Griffin will travel to the future and then back to his present, where he and Harper will have to change the timelines of their lives in order to save their friendship and their families.

Kurt Farquhar Returns as Series Songwriter and Composer with R&B Singer Joyce Wrice Performing the Reimagined Theme Song

(January 14, 2022) – Disney+ announced today the February 23 premiere date for “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” the highly-anticipated revival of the groundbreaking Disney Channel series, “The Proud Family.” Featuring an all-star celebrity cast, new episodes will debut Wednesdays on the streaming platform. Along with the premiere date, Disney+ revealed the official series trailer during this morning’s Television Critics Association virtual press tour.

Lauded television and film composer, songwriter and producer Kurt Farquhar, who wrote and composed “The Proud Family” theme song, returns as series songwriter and composer for “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.” Preserving the lyrics and melody of the iconic and beloved original theme song, Farquhar reimagined a contemporary version for the revival, performed by rising R&B star Joyce Wrice. A new behind-the-scenes music featurette with a sneak peek of the updated song was released today:

“The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder” will pick up the story of its central character, Penny Proud, and include her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Win or Lose: Directors Michael Yates and Carrie Hobson reveal concept art for Pixar’s first-ever original long-form animated series “Win or Lose,” coming to Disney+ in 2023. Marvel

As a celebration of the MCU on Disney+, “Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special” is now streaming on Disney+, where subscribers can see sneak peeks of the next Marvel Studios series coming to the service, including:

Hawkeye is set in post-blip New York City where Clint Barton aka Hawkeye has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with 22-year-old skilled archer Kate Bishop to unravel a criminal conspiracy. The series stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton and newcomer Alaqua Cox. Episodes are directed by executive producer Rhys Thomas and directing duo Bert & Bertie; executive producer Jonathan Igla is head writer. The series premieres November 24, 2021. Moon Knight: Get a first look at “Moon Knight,” a new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt. “Moon Knight” is directed by executive producer Mohamed Diab; Jeremy Slater is head writer. The series is coming to Disney+ in 2022.

She-Hulk: See Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. “She-Hulk” will welcome a host of Marvel characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by Tim Roth. The new comedy series coming to Disney+ in 2022 is directed by executive producer Kat Coiro with Anu Valia also directing. Executive producer Jessica Gao serves as head writer.

Ms. Marvel introduces Kamala Khan – a 16-year-old Pakistani American from Jersey City. An aspiring artist, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she is a huge fan of the Avengers – and one in particular, Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world – that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. The series is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with executive producer Bisha K. Ali serving as head writer. “Ms. Marvel” premieres on Disney+ in Summer 2022.

Additionally, Marvel Studios announced new projects and unveiled logos for its future series including:

· Echo: a series starring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, who will be introduced in “Hawkeye”

· Ironheart: a series starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man

· Agatha: House of Harkness: a series starring Kathryn Hahn as her character from “WandaVision.” Jac Schaefer returns as executive producer and head writer.

· Secret Invasion: a series starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos – characters who first met in “Captain Marvel.” The crossover comic event series showcases a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.

· The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special: a special written and directed by “Guardians of the Galaxy” veteran James Gunn

· X-MEN ’97: an animated series from Marvel Studios that explores new stories in the iconic ’90s timeline of the original series. Beau DeMayo is executive producer and head writer.

· What If… ? (Season 2): the second season of the fan-favorite animated series. After enlisting the Guardians of the Multiverse to stop Infinity Ultron, The Watcher returns in Season 2 of “What If…?” to meet new heroes and explore more strange new worlds in the MCU’s ever-expanding Multiverse. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley serving as head writer.

· Spider-Man: Freshman Year: an animated series that follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots. Executive producer Jeff Trammel serves as head writer.

· I Am Groot: a series of original shorts exploring Baby Groot’s glory days growing up, and getting into trouble, among the stars. Directed by executive producer Kirsten Lepore.

· Marvel Zombies: an animated series from Marvel Studios that reimagines the Marvel Universe as a new generation of heroes battle against an ever-spreading zombie scourge. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews.

Lucasfilm

Willow: From the set of the upcoming Lucasfilm series “Willow,” Warwick Davis introduces the supporting cast, including Ruby Cruz (“Mare of Easttown”), Erin Kellyman (“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”), Ellie Bamber (“The Serpent”), Tony Revolori (“Spider-Man: No Way Home”), Amar Chadha Patel (“The Third Day”) and Dempsey Bryk (“The Birch”). “Willow” premieres exclusively on Disney+ in 2022. Rosaline: A fresh comedic twist on Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” in which the classic love story is told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline… who just happens to be Romeo’s ex-girlfriend. The Princess: An irreverent action movie set in a fairy tale world. Prey: An all-new entry in the “Predator” franchise, “Prey” will premiere in Summer 2022. From Cinderella Castle in Tokyo to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Paris, icons at Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa were illuminated in blue in preparation of Disney+ Day. This morning, Disney+ subscribers were invited to enter Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort parks 30 minutes before regular park open. Guests were welcomed at select parks with a blue carpet arrival experience, special character encounters and photo opportunities. Disneyland Paris rolled out the blue carpet at Walt Disney Studios, where guests enjoyed photo locations enhanced with special character appearances and a 30-minute extension to park hours.
