DISCOVERY+ GREENLIGHTS NEW SEASONS OF FAN-FAVORITE SERIES INCLUDING “KENDRA SELLS HOLLYWOOD,” “LOVE IN PARADISE: THE CARIBBEAN,” “90 DAY: THE SINGLE LIFE,” “PIG ROYALTY” AND “GHOST BROTHERS: LIGHTS OUT”

Titles Join Other discovery+ Renewals Including Second Seasons of Naked and Afraid of Love, Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life and The Haunted Museum.

(LOS ANGELES) – Today, discovery+, the definitive non-fiction, real life subscription streaming service from Discovery, Inc., announced the pick-up of several of the platform’s biggest hits with second season orders for Kendra Sells Hollywood, Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, Pig Royalty, Ghost Brothers: Lights Out, as well as a third season pick-up for 90 Day: The Single Life.

“We’ve seen tremendous growth in our first full year as we’ve rolled out to more than 25 markets. Just last month, we hit record engagement rates and we’re about to launch our next batch of genre-busting programs of reality and dating formats,” said Lisa Holme, Group SVP of Content and Commercial Strategy for Discovery. “This slate renewal is a meaningful milestone showing how consumers are finding their favorite shows, brands and personalities on our platform.”

Kendra Sells Hollywood will be back for an all-new second season, with the former resident of the iconic Playboy mansion taking viewers on a whirlwind emotional rollercoaster as she navigates Hollywood’s crushingly competitive real estate scene. Kendra’s fans will see how she handles every moment of her epic personal journey — from securing leads to dodging paparazzi – all while parenting her two children.

In the second season of sexy docu-soap Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, people are on a quest to find love in various tropical locales. Viewers will meet new couples and reunite with couples from seasons past to see if relationships found in paradise can last once they head back to the real world.

90 Day: The Single Life revolves around 90 Day Fiance favorites who are looking to find love again while attempting to let go of the baggage from their past. The series will follow newly uncoupled singles as they navigate the world of online dating, set-ups, and first date jitters.

The kings and queens of pig shows are back! The fan-favorite series, Pig Royalty, returns as lines are drawn and loyal allies become enemies. The Rhin and the Balero family rivalry continues to boil while Nugget and Tyler question their allegiances, but as always the drama behind the scenes is as Texas-sized as the competition in the ring.

The Ghost Brothers – Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey – are flipping the switch in their discovery+ series Ghost Brothers: Lights Out. These candid thrillseekers are one-upping each other with the skeleton keys to the most legendary haunts in the country. Once inside, the dopest ghost-hunting brothers unleash traditional and unorthodox methods to determine if the location lives up to the hype, and who or what lies behind the scares.

These titles join other recent discovery+ renewals including second seasons of Naked and Afraid of Love, Eli Roth Presents: A Ghost Ruined My Life and The Haunted Museum.

Earlier this year, discovery+ launched the “Black Voices” hub with programming spotlighting the African American community. The hub will live on the platform year-round with curated series, documentaries, and specials that will take viewers on an educational, entertaining and exploratory journey through stories of empowerment and entrepreneurship, love and relationships, real estate and design, history and investigation, food and lifestyle, and more.

FRIGHTENING TALES OF CURSED OBJECTS ARE BROUGHT TO LIFE IN NEW SCRIPTED HORROR SERIES, “THE HAUNTED MUSEUM,” FROM “GHOST ADVENTURES” STAR ZAK BAGANS AND FILMMAKER ELI ROTH

Nine-Part Series Presents a Terrifying Anthology of Short Horror Films Inspired by the Haunted Artifacts in Zak Bagans’ Las Vegas Museum – Launching Saturday, October 2 on discovery+
NEW YORK (September 17, 2021) – Horror-loving fans get ready as renowned filmmaker Eli Roth and paranormal investigator and GHOST ADVENTURES host Zak Bagans team up in THE HAUNTED MUSEUM, a spine-chilling new scripted series that brings to life the terrifying tales of the world’s most haunted and cursed artifacts. Launching with two episodes on Saturday, October 2, exclusively on discovery+ during the streamer’s “Ghostober” event, the nine-episode series features a collection of short horror films inspired by the frightening relics on display in Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. Each episode presents a chilling cinematic story of a ghoulish object from Bagans’ eerie collection, scripted and produced in collaboration with Eli Roth and featuring exclusive commentary from Bagans about its hellish history.

An enthusiast for all things haunted, Zak Bagans has amassed a collection of thousands of creepy artifacts from all over the world, exhibited across a sprawling 30-room, 14,000-square-foot mansion museum. Here, brave visitors come face-to-face with a plethora of spooky memorabilia that span paranormal legends, true crime, Hollywood pop culture and haunted history. But among these relics are a group of items that are particularly sinister, inducing nightmarish experiences – fainting spells, chills, convulsions, scratches and disturbing bad luck.

Now, these cursed objects take the spotlight in THE HAUNTED MUSEUM, as Zak Bagans and Eli Roth join forces to tell their ominous stories in a frightening format. Roth – the modern master of horror and creative force behind such films as “Cabin Fever” and “Hostel” – along with his accredited team of writers present the frightful tales behind Bagans’ most feared items through innovative and evocative horror shorts. Experience the supernatural scares behind Peggy the Doll, the Devil’s Rocking Chair, Charles Manson’s cursed television, an antique mirror with an evil attachment, the Westerfeld dollhouse, a wooden tribal cursed statue, “spiritual equipment” that may be a portal to a demonic dimension, the Demon House staircase and the infamous Dybbuk Box.

“While all of the collectables in my museum have dark and unusual backstories, these items are especially fearsome because of the intense, evil energy they contain,” said Bagans. “Their power is scary as hell, and I’ve never seen anything like it. Eli Roth is a mastermind at authentically evoking this terror and the very real fear brought on by these objects through his incredible visual storytelling. The horror is palpable. This is the scariest thing you will ever watch.”

“Never before have I been involved as a producer in a project this scary,” added Roth. “I believe this show could go down as one of the scariest anthology horror television shows of all time. I am so excited to bring these terrifying stories to homes in time for Halloween. Working with Zak has been a scream, he was so helpful in guiding the stories of these horrific objects that most people would be too scared to even look at. There has never been a show where you can see a terrifying story and then visit the real cursed object in person after, if you dare. I stand behind my claim this will be the scariest show you will watch this Halloween season.”

“GHOST ADVENTURES” STAR ZAK BAGANS AND FILMMAKER ELI ROTH JOIN FORCES FOR NEW HORROR ANTHOLOGY SERIES “THE HAUNTED MUSEUM”

Newly Greenlit Series to Launch Exclusively on discovery+ Later This Year
NEW YORK (May 18, 2021) – The creepy collection of haunted artifacts housed inside Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum are getting the spotlight in a new horror anthology series produced in collaboration with filmmaker Eli Roth. Launching exclusively on discovery+ later this year, THE HAUNTED MUSEUM will present the frightening and hellish tales behind the spooky relics on display in Zak Bagans’ (Ghost Adventures) Las Vegas museum, by way of scripted shorts produced by Roth and his accredited team, and with featured commentary from Bagans himself. Bagans’ extensive collectibles, numbering in the thousands, are exhibited across the 30-room, 14,000-square-foot mansion, and span from paranormal legends and true crime to Hollywood pop culture and haunted history. The series consists of a special two-hour episode, plus eight additional hour-long episodes.

“I’ve been a fan of Zak for many years and absolutely love his passion, drive and incredible research on all things paranormal,” said Eli Roth. “He has amassed a collection unlike any in the world, and we are thrilled to tell the stories behind these truly terrifying objects. What I love most is that the objects are all real and that people can go and see them if they dare. Zak opened the vault to us to pick the scariest and most fascinating variety of objects, and we have an amazing team of filmmakers bringing these stories to life. The show will not be for the faint of heart. Some people have nightmares simply looking at photos of the objects, and now we will be able to tell the stories of how these objects came to be possessed by something truly terrifying.”

“Eli Roth is a master of horror, and I couldn’t think of a more talented visionary to help bring the stories of my haunted collection to life,” added Zak Bagans. “These are no ordinary objects, they impart fear and terror on those who come into contact with them. Now, with Eli’s expertise for thrill-provoking storytelling, viewers will get the ultimate frightening glimpse into their real horror.”

Paranormal investigator and GHOST ADVENTURES host Zak Bagans has a relentless passion to identify, research and collect haunted objects from all over the world. In 2017, Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum opened its door to the public, revealing Bagans’ frightful and fascinating collection to those brave enough to enter. But visitors often get far more than just a visual experience. Many bear witness to the hellish, dramatic and sometimes demonic effects of the items that fill its galleries. Dizziness, chills, convulsions and scratches are par for the course here, giving the Haunted Museum a reputation for not just providing glimpses of the paranormal world, but entrances into it.

Now, Bagans is opening the museum vaults, sharing the secrets and stories behind a curated selection of his most prized haunted items, including the Dybbuk Box, a carved wooden statue owned by actor Steve McQueen, the Westerfeld dollhouse, actor Bela Lugosi’s mirror, the Devil’s Rocking Chair and more. Complementing Bagans’ testimony, each object’s backstory is retold via its own mini horror film, scripted and produced in collaboration with renowned director Eli Roth.

THE HAUNTED MUSEUM is produced by Cream Productions. For Cream Productions, the executive producers are Matt Booi, Kate Harrison Karman and David Brady. Eli Roth and Zak Bagans also serve as executive producers. For discovery+, the executive producer is Christine Shuler.
