Paul Bernardo’s lawyers find the videotapes of the assaults on Leslie Mahaffy and Kristen French. The tapes reveal Homolka is complicit in the crimes. Unaware of this new information, prosecutors make a controversial deal with Homolka.

Police immediately suspected her parents John and Patsy Ramsey of the murder, but after reviewing the evidence, Lou thought otherwise and he recorded it all.
