Three Episodes Begin Streaming Monday, August 30, with Episodes Dropping Weekly on Mondays

· The Prison Matchmaker Begins Streaming on Monday, August 30 Self-proclaimed, “prison matchmaker” Chelsea Holmes works with a shy young introvert, Brey, to connect him with two women on the inside. First, Brey has to convince his dad that this is a path worth pursuing. Things heat up for Isa and her inmate boyfriend Devin, but she still struggles to accept Devin’s past. · From Cell to Celibate Begins Streaming on Monday, August 30 Things heat up between Chelsea and soon to be released inmate Michael when he asks her to pick him up at the prison gates and to officially be his gal. However, her excitement is short lived when he tells her that he wants to remain celibate while they get to know each other. Isa feels the full weight of dating an inmate as Devin asks her for money for commissary. Bryce is confronted by the fact that his incarceration left his family in shambles.

· Once a Cheater Begins Streaming on Monday, September 6 Chelsea picks up her boyfriend Michael from prison, and wonders if their relationship will survive with Michael on the outside. Dexter wants to visit Yolanda after she is released, but spots some red flags when she hints she’d like him to provide her with some high ticket items. DISCOVERY+ ANNOUNCES FEBRUARY PROGRAMMING SLATE

The Schedule Includes New, Original Programming Across Key Genres

New York, NY – January 21, 2021 – discovery+, the definitive non-fiction, real life subscription streaming service from Discovery, Inc., today announced the new and original programming that will be available in February on the streaming platform, which launched in the U.S. on January 4.

In February, subscribers will have access to the 23 new titles listed below, with additional projects expected to be announced in the coming days. These new titles are part of the more than 1,000 hours of original programming to premiere on discovery+ in 2021.

discovery+ features a partnership with Verizon that gives their customers with select plans up to 12 months of discovery+ on Verizon. discovery+ is also available on platforms and devices from Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Roku and Samsung.

Animals

· Puppy Bowl Presents: The Dog Games – Sunday, February 7

Let the games begin! In a fast-paced hour hosted by Kym Whitley and filled with theatrics and skill, four pairs of dogs and amateur trainers face off against one another to show which dog (and trainer) is the greatest showman with the best tricks and talent. The pairs move through three different rounds of increasing competition, while being judged by pro dog trainer, Travis Brorsen and style judge, Crystal Powell. At each round, one pair is eliminated. The two best teams move on to the final showstopper round to win the game and $5,000.00 to donate to their charity of choice.

True Crime

· Unseamly: The Investigation of Peter Nygård – Friday, February 5

Canadian “King of Polyester” Peter Nygård built an international fashion empire and led an extravagant lifestyle constantly surrounded by beautiful, young women. But hiding beneath the outlandish public persona, scores of women say, was a dangerous sexual predator. More than 80 women have joined a class action lawsuit accusing Nygård and his companies of rape, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. Their accusations led to an investigation by the FBI and Nygård’s December arrest in Canada for extradition to the United States. Now, Nygård and his alleged crimes are exposed in a documentary nearly two years in the making.

In 2010, a probation officer conducts a routine check on 76-year-old Joseph Naso, in Reno, Nevada. During a search of Naso’s home for probation violations, the officer finds a shocking cache of materials: thousands of pictures of women in hosiery, mannequins dressed in lingerie, and a journal recounting dozens of sexual assaults. But the most important piece of evidence found is Naso’s “List of Ten,” a handwritten list with ten cryptic entries of vague locations, but no names or dates. Investigators fear that they have stumbled upon a hidden serial killer and his list of victims completely by chance. Working against time, investigators have one year to decode the list before Naso goes free.
