New York, NY – May 17, 2022 – This June, AMC+ celebrates Pride Month with “Stream with Pride,” a curated collection of original series, specials, and films from across the company’s portfolio highlighting the voices of the LGBTQ+ community. Programming highlights include original series Dispatches from Elsewhere, Killing Eve, Orphan Black, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, and Slo Pitch, as well as an extensive lineup of feature films and documentaries from Cannes Palme d’Or Winner Blue is the Warmest Colour to the critically-acclaimed Do I Sound Gay?, all headlined by the debut of AMC+ Original series, This is Going to Hurt. Exclusive new film premieres roll out every week in June with the AMC+ Friday Night Films lineup including action thriller White Elephant (June 3), Arabic-language thriller Huda’s Salon (June 10), futuristic sci-fi thriller I am Mortal (June 17) and the horror exclusive for the “The Final Friday,” Shudder Original Revealer (June 24).

Dark Winds
Two-Episode Premiere on Sunday, June 12; Subsequent Episodes Released One Week Ahead of AMC

Set in 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley, Dark Winds follows Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon, The Son, Westworld, Fargo) of the Tribal Police as he is besieged by a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. Better Call Saul’s final season concludes the complicated journey and transformation of its compromised hero, Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. From the cartel to the courthouse, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season six tracks Jimmy, Saul, and Gene as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando) and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are locked into a game of cat and mouse with mortal stakes.

Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils (BBC AMERICA / AMC+)

Legend of the Sea Devils finds the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Dan (John Bishop) in 19th century China, where a small coastal village is under threat – from both the fearsome pirate queen Madame Ching (Crystal Yu) and a monstrous alien force which she unwittingly unleashes. Will the Doctor, Yaz and Dan emerge from this swashbuckling battle with the Sea Devils to save the planet? The special introduces cast members Arthur Lee as Ji-Hun and Marlow Chan-Reeves as Ying Ki. Legend of the Sea Devils is the second of a trio of specials airing in 2022. Jodie Whittaker’s final feature-length Special will transmit in autumn 2022 as part of the BBC’s Centenary celebrations.

Based on Jørn Lier Horst’s crime novel ‘The Inner Darkness,’ this latest installment in the series literally opens with a bang. A convicted killer escapes from Detective Wisting’s custody by triggering a grenade during the inspection of a potential crime scene in the woods. The killer, who promised to reveal the location of yet another murder victim, instead blasts his way to freedom with the help of a former accomplice, injuring police officers in the process. The case is now personal for the entire Larvik police force. Wisting (Sven Nordin) embarks on some of the most intense days of his life as he must manage his revenge-thirsty team, as well as stop the two criminals before they continue their killing spree. The case also becomes personal for the detective’s daughter, Line (Thea Green Lundberg), who is shooting a true crime documentary about serial killers and was the one who instigated the whole inspection.
