POOR DECISIONS – Abigail (Jewel Staite) and Daniel (Zach Smadu) defend Marlee (guest star
Steph Song), a mother whose addiction to online gaming (and frequent sexual rendezvous with
another avatar) have brought her parenting abilities into question — at least, her soon-to-be-ex-
husband claims she is negligent and sues for full custody of their kids. Abby gives her
questionable advice because, like Marlee, she is in deep denial of her own addiction. Abby’s
denial culminates in some very poor decisions. Meanwhile, Daniel resolves to tie the knot with
Danielle (guest star Yvonne Chapman) after some ribbing from Lucy (Genelle Williams), who is
still reeling from the guilt, and thrill, of her recent transgression. Victor Garber and Lauren Holly
also star. The episode was written by Susin Nielsen and directed by David Frazee (#103).

gentrifying Chinatown. Donovan (Roger Cross) and Malik (Andy McQueen) find their
relationship continuing to strain, while Ross (Ehren Kassam) and Alphonse (Shawn Ahmed)
make an awkward discovery. Also starring Thom Allison, Kiley May, Jon De Leon, and

Logan) and Billy’s (Taye Diggs) suspicions about Coach Garrett (guest star Sean Carrigan)
resurface and cause tension between them and Jordan (Michael Evans Behling). Layla (Greta
Onieogou) makes a power play that catches an unsuspecting Patience (Chelsea Tavares) off-
guard. Meanwhile, Asher (Cody Christian) struggles with trying to be JJ’s coach and

Damon (Peyton Alex Smith) is stressed about how his decision will affect those around him, but
there is one person he may not have considered. Keisha (Netta Walker) is all in on her new
dance major but she must overcome a roadblock that she didn’t anticipate. Cam (Mitchell
Edwards) hits a snag with his financial aid and turns to Amara (Kelly Jenrette) for help, causing
Amara to investigate the situation. Meanwhile, Coach Marcus (Cory Hardrict) takes a difficult,
but necessary, step in the right direction. Ryan Zaragoza directed the episode written by
