LOS ANGELES (May 5, 2022) – TBS and truTV announce July premiere dates for “Chad,” “The Big D” and “101 Places to Party Before You Die”. In addition, the second seasons of Max Originals “Titans” and “Love Life” will air on TBS and TNT respectively as part of Front Row, the networks’ premium, limited commercial interruption content destination for select Max Original series and key TBS and TNT content. These titles join the previously announced summer premiere of TNT’s “Animal Kingdom” on June 19 with back-to-back episodes starting at 9:00pm ET/PT.

Summer Highlights
TBS:
“Chad”

2021’s #1 new scripted cable comedy series, “Chad” returns on Monday, July 11 at 10:00pm ET/PT, starring creator, executive producer, and showrunner, Nasim Pedrad (“Saturday Night Live,” “Aladdin”).*

Summer break is over and it’s sophomore year for newly elected class president, Chad Amani (Pedrad). In this hilarious second season, Chad deals with a scandal that quickly ends his presidency, has a surprising new love interest, and gets a visit from his tough-as-nails Iranian grandmother – all while continuing to worry about his popularity, and discovering new ways to relate to his Persian cultural roots. Chad’s epic path to teenage self-realization is not always a straight line–but the support from his family and best friend Peter (Jake Ryan) keep Chad on track, giving him the confidence to help him become who he has always wanted to be – the most American boy in the history of the world.

Returning cast for season two will include Jake Ryan as Peter; Paul Chahidi as Uncle Hamid; Saba Homayoon as Naz, Chad’s mother; Ella Mika as Chad’s sister, Niki; Alexa Loo as Denise; and Thomas Barbusca as Reid. Sara Malal Rowe has also been added to the lineup this season.

Pedrad is creator, executive producer and showrunner on “Chad.” Max Searle serves as co-showrunner with Pedrad and executive producer. Rob Rossell executive produced and co-developed “Chad”. Oly Obst (3 Arts) also serves as an executive producer.

*TBS has moved the season two premiere of “Chad” to July 11th from the previously announced April 11 date.
“The Big D”

Premiering Thursday, July 7 at 9:00pm ET/PT, “The Big D” is an explosive ten-episode dating competition series that takes on the relationship space with a twist, following recent divorcees as they search for romance in paradise with one catch – their exes will be along for the journey. Over the course of several weeks, 10 divorced couples move into a tropical villa in Costa Rica to re-learn how to date and search for love amongst a group of other single divorcees – including their ex. The group takes part in revealing relationship EX-ercises designed to help the singles form connections, make peace with their former partners, and finally get over the issues holding them back from dating. Each episode, one person who isn’t relationship material will be eliminated. Jealous exes may try to send their rival home or perhaps even defend their exes’ honor – the possibilities are endless. Hosts JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers (“The Bachelorette”) are no strangers to courting in-front-of a camera and will be on-hand to help the divorcees get back into the dating game.

“The Big D” is produced for TBS by Lighthearted Entertainment with Rob LaPlante, Jeff Spangler and Kevin Lee serving as executive producers.

“Love Life” Season Two
The second season of “Love Life” will launch on Sunday, July 31 at 10:00pm ET/PT on Front Row on TBS.

Season two of the Max Original romantic comedy anthology series “Love Life” focuses on Marcus Watkins (Emmy® nominee and executive producer William Jackson Harper). After his marriage unexpectedly implodes, Marcus is forced to rebuild his life brick by brick, hoping to find a love that will last, once and for all.
Season two stars series regulars William Jackson Harper, Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson and Chris “Comedian CP” Powell; recurring guest stars Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb and John Earl Jelks; and guest stars Maya Kazan, Ego Nwodim, Kimberly Elise, Blair Underwood, Janet Hubert, Jordan Rock and Steven Boyer. Keith David narrates. Season one’s Anna Kendrick, who also executive produces, Zoë Chao, Peter Vack, Sasha Compére and Nick Thune will appear in season two.

TNT:
“Titans”
The second season of “Titans” will launch on Tuesday, July 5 at 10:00pm ET/PT on Front Row on TNT.

In season two, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd (new series regular Curran Walters) train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove (new series regulars Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly) and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl (new series regular Conor Leslie). Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent (new series regular Joshua Orpin) and Rose Wilson (new series regular Chelsea Zhang) – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke (new series regular Esai Morales) brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

On HBO Max this October, Academy Award nominee Denis Villeneuve (“Arrival,” “Blade Runner 2049”) directs Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Dune” (10/22), the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal bestseller of the same name. A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, “Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence – a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential – only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

“The Many Saints of Newark” (10/1), the much-anticipated feature film prequel to David Chase’s groundbreaking, award-winning HBO drama series “The Sopranos,” also makes its debut in theaters and on HBO Max in October. Young Anthony Soprano is growing up in one of the most tumultuous eras in Newark’s history, becoming a man just as rival gangsters begin to rise up and challenge the all-powerful DiMeo crime family’s hold over the increasingly race-torn city – and under the influence of the uncle he idolizes, Dickie Moltisanti. Fans of “The Sopranos” can catch up on the iconic series with the Sopranos spotlight page and curated trays on HBO Max. The spotlight page and trays in-app highlight essential episodes, the evolution of Tony, and more great viewing for fans before they watch the feature film prequel.

Both “Dune” and “The Many Saints of Newark” will be available in theaters and on HBO Max the same day. Streaming only on the $14.99/month Ad-Free HBO Max plan for 31 days from their theatrical release.

A jaw-dropping collection of original programming arrives this October including the much anticipated third season of the Emmy(R)-winning drama series “Succession” (10/17), the fifth and final season of the Emmy(R)-winning HBO comedy series “Insecure” (10/24), the eleventh season of the pretty, pretty good comedy series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” the second season of romantic comedy anthology series “Love Life” (10/28), the third season of “Selena + Chef,” the three-part mini-series event “Aquaman: King of Atlantis” (10/14), and the second season of the unscripted series “We’re Here” (10/11).
