AMC+ KICKS OFF OCTOBER WITH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED PREMIERES FOR THE WALKING DEAD, WHICH BEGINS ITS EPIC EIGHT-EPISODE CONCLUSION, AND ANNE RICE’S INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE

New Series, Films, Specials and More Now Streaming on AMC Networks’ Suite of Targeted Streaming Services This October
New York, NY – September 16, 2022 – This fall, AMC Networks’ targeted streaming services will feature a number of highly anticipated series debuts and sendoffs including the premieres of the final season of The Walking Dead, and the eagerly-awaited new series Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, both on October 2, the series finale of acclaimed Kevin Can F**K Himself on October 3, the season finale of AMC+ Original Pantheon on October 13, as well as the return of popular IFC Original series, Documentary Now! and Sherman’s Showcase, on October 19 and October 26, respectively.

This month also features exclusive new film premieres rolling out every week in October with AMC+ Exclusive Films from Shudder’s Halloween lineup, including horror comedy Deadstream (October 6), Italian thriller Dark Glasses (October 13), gothic fairytale She Will (October 13), the latest installment in anthology franchise, V/H/S/99 (October 20) and the diabolically entertaining Resurrection (October 28).

In this long-running, highly-viewed UK series, Martin Clunes (Manhunt) stars as surly and self-centered Dr. Martin Ellingham with a rude bedside manner and a phobia of blood. After stepping down as GP in the town of Portwenn the end of last season, Doc Martin is beginning to question whether he made the right decision about resigning. With his wife Louisa (Caroline Catz) pursuing her new career as a child counsellor in his old surgery, the Doc is left literally holding the baby, and indulging his hobby of repairing clocks on the kitchen table. Partners in Rhyme (ALLBLK Original)
Season 2 Premiere on Thursday October 13

The crew is gearing up to release Luscious’ (Precious Way, ABC’s Queens) debut album, and prepping for her first big tour. This season takes a deeper personal turn for all the characters. Mekhi (Ron G., Insecure, Key & Peele) takes a deeper look at his own goals, and begins to mature and find his lane. Boston (Wesley Jonathan, Monogamy) and Lana’s (MC Lyte) relationship develops, showing more ups and downs, and the will-they-won’t-they changes to will or won’t they last as a couple. Luscious’ battle turns from bars to brains, as she battles her own ego and pressure that others place from Lana to Epiphany. Due to Hazel’s (Rolanda Watts) blood pressure scare, we learn about Hazel’s background and her relationship with the crew and especially Lana.

The television legacy that is The Walking Dead begins its highly anticipated last eight episodes this October. A sensuous, contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire follows Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson), Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) and Claudia’s (Bailey Bass) epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat De Lioncourt’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion. But Louis’s intoxicating new powers come with a violent price, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and atonement.

Now in the second and final season, Allison (Emmy® Award-winning actress Annie Murphy, Schitt’s Creek) and Patty (Mary Hollis Inboden, The Righteous Gemstones) scramble to deal with Neil (Alex Bonifer, Superstore), pushing Allison to find a new and better way out of her marriage to Kevin (Eric Petersen, Kirstie). Altering the original escape plan, Patty once again agrees to help Allison, but this time, on her own terms. Erinn Hayes (Kevin Can Wait, Gaslit) will make a guest appearance in season two. AMC Networks’ first traditionally animated series, Pantheon, is a sci-fi drama based on a collection of short stories by award-winning author Ken Liu. The thrilling speculative is centered on a bullied teen (Katie Chang) who receives mysterious help from someone online: a stranger soon revealed to be her recently deceased father, David (Daniel Dae Kim), whose consciousness has been uploaded to the Cloud following an experimental destructive brain scan. David is the first of a new kind of being – an “Uploaded Intelligence” or “UI” – but he will not be the last, as a global conspiracy unfolds that threatens to trigger a new kind of world war. IFC’s original comedy series, Documentary Now!, returns for the highly anticipated fifty-third season, with six all-new documentary-inspired episodes. Co-created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers and Rhys Thomas, the six-time Emmy®-nominated Documentary Now! debuted to rave reviews from critics and quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its insightful take on some of the most well-known documentary films. Each episode, hosted by Dame Helen Mirren, takes viewers back in time to honor groundbreaking documentaries. The series is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Broadway Video.

Sherman’s Showcase

The witty, irreverent and wholly original Sherman’s Showcase features sketches, dancers, fake commercials, movie trailers, cultural nostalgia, the funkmonster, A-list guest stars and original songs (“Drop it Low for Jesus,” “Marina Del Ray”) that definitely climbed the fictional charts. Each episode of the series is hosted by Sherman McDaniels as he takes viewers through time, via music and comedy drawn from the 40-year library of a legendary (but fictional) musical variety show.

PERI GILPIN & RACHEL DRATCH GUEST IN FINAL SEASON OF AMC’S KEVIN CAN F**K HIMSELF

Second and Final Season Premieres Today, August 22 on AMC and AMC+

New York, NY – August 22, 2022 – Comedy stars Peri Gilpin (Frasier) and Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live) will appear in the second and final season of Kevin Can F**K Himself, premiering tonight, Monday, August 22 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC, with the first two episodes available on AMC+. Starring Emmy® Award-winning actress Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), this ambitious, genre-bending series alternates between traditional multi-camera sitcom and single-camera drama, as Allison McRoberts (Murphy) tries to escape her life with her boorish husband, Kevin (Eric Petersen, Kirstie).

Best known for her award-winning turn as Roz on Frasier, Peri Gilpin will play Allison’s mother, Donna, in the episode “Ghost,” airing September 5 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC. Appearing in flashback scenes, it’s clear that Donna and Allison have a unique relationship that may have led Allison to where she is today.

Rachel Dratch, showing off the Boston accent made famous in her SNL sketches, will guest star in the episode “The Unreliable Narrator,” airing September 19 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC. Portraying a disgruntled ex-City Hall employee, Beatrice, she aids Allison – perhaps not in the most legal way – with her newest plan to escape Kevin.

Gilpin and Dratch join previously announced guest star Erinn Hayes (Kevin Can wait, Gaslit), who will appear in the series finale of Kevin Can F**K Himself.

About Kevin Can F**K Himself

Set in Worcester, Massachusetts, Kevin Can F**K Himself probes the secret life of a type of woman we all grew up believing we knew: the prototypical sitcom wife. Allison McRoberts (Murphy) is married to self-centered and “lovable” cable guy Kevin (Petersen), but after a dark discovery, Allison teams up with neighbor Patty O’Connor (Mary Hollis Inboden, The Righteous Gemstones) to take drastic measures to escape her confines and take control of her life. New York, NY – July 15, 2022 – AMC Networks’ targeted streaming services are sizzling with a number of highly anticipated series debuts and sendoffs including the debut of the latest series in The Walking Dead Universe, Tales of the Walking Dead on August 14, the season finale of AMC+ Original Moonhaven, the series finale of celebrated Better Call Saul on August 15, as well as the return of critically-acclaimed Kevin Can F**K Himself on August 22.

The charred remains of a body are discovered in the burned-out remnants of a rural shed, but no one lived there, and no one was meant to be there at all. This “painful, tender” (Guardian) 2022 UK drama is about Anne Williams (Maxine Peake, The Village) who lost her 15-year-old-son Kevin in the Hillsborough Disaster- he was one of 96 fans who lost their lives at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest. Anne refused to believe the verdict of accidental death and was determined to discover the truth of what happened in the disaster. Over the next 24 years, Anne tracked down witnesses, sought medical advice, enlisted political support and campaigned tirelessly for new inquests for Kevin and the other victims. This is the story of one mother’s quest for truth and justice.

Season 2 Finale Premieres Thursday, August 4

Terror Lake Drive: Single Black Female takes place two years after the chain of events that traumatized the tenants of the Freeman Lake Apartments in season one…bringing a new and unsuspecting tenant to the mystifying lakeside apartment complex. Created and written by Jerry LaMothe (Blackout) and Kajuana S. Marie, season two follows Deja (Pascale Armand, Eclipsed), a traveling nurse, who recently completed an assignment in Austin, Texas. Amid her housing quest, she meets an awkwardly shy and eclectic Doula named Shana (Yolonda Ross, The Chi), a nursing student at the university who is seeking a roommate – single Black female preferred. Oblivious to its checkered past, Deja makes herself at home with Shana at Freeman Lake, while unknowingly becoming a target of the latest eerie coincidences to inhabit the troubled apartment complex. In the season finale…a showdown falls on the grounds formerly known as Freeman Lakes. Send Help is a half-hour dramedy following Fritz Jean-Baptiste (Jean Elie), a first-generation Haitian American actor who is on top of the world, since landing a starring role on fictional hit TV show, This Can’t Be Us…all while being the sole support system for his incredibly demanding Haitian family, reeling from a recent tragedy. Fritz is firing on all cylinders, until he receives a fateful call delivering the news of his shows’ cancellation. This sci-fi thriller set 100 years into the future follows Bella Sway (Emma McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. A skeptic in paradise, Bella is sucked into a conspiracy to gain control of the artificial intelligence responsible for Moonhaven’s miracles and teams with a local detective, Paul Serno (Dominic Monaghan, Lost), to stop the forces that want to destroy Earth’s last hope before they are destroyed themselves. Allison alters her original escape plan from Kevin. Patty once again agrees to help, but this time, on her own terms.

The classic tale of “boy meets girl” gets a ghoulish twist in Call of the Night when protagonist Ko (Gen Sato, Dr. Stone) encounters a vampire while wandering the city after nightfall. The vampire Nazuna (Sora Amamiya, Akame ga Kill!) can grant him dark gifts and nocturnal immortality, but there are conditions Ko must meet before can sink his teeth into vampirism, and he’ll have to discover just how far he’s willing to go to satisfy his desires before he can heed the call of the night.

Adapted by studio LIDENFILMS (Blade of the Immortal) from Weekly Shonen Sunday’s hit manga series of the same name, Tomoyuki Itamura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica) directs Call of the Night while Michiko Yokote (Cowboy Bebop) provides the script.

The upcoming dark comedy Kevin Can F**K Himself, starring Emmy Award-winning actress Annie Murphy (Schitt’s Creek), will make its television debut on Sunday, June 13 on AMC+ and Sunday, June 20 at 9:00PM ET/PT on AMC. The first two installments of the eight-episode season will be available on AMC+ on Sunday, June 13 and air back-to-back on AMC on Sunday, June 20 at 9:00PM ET/PT and 10:00PM ET/PT.
