Chris travels back in time and we learn about his true connection to the Halliwells. Phoebe gains the power of empathy allowing her to feel the emotions of others, and with this ability she can tap into the powers of other magical beings. Her relationship with Jason becomes more serious as they decide to live together. Paige begins taking different temp jobs to create a life separate from magic but finds this difficult when each job leaves her in a supernatural situation. Through this she meets Richard Montana, a witch who has given up using his powers. Magic School is also introduced as a place where the future generation of witches and Whitelighters are trained in their powers and it becomes a permanent location for the sisters to go for protection and information. Here they meet Gideon, the head teacher and a Whitelighter. As the season progresses it becomes clear that Gideon has become twisted in his belief of protecting the ‘greater good’ and in doing some unknowingly changes the future drastically. 5-disc set.

NOTE: at this time I (David) am going to have a mea culpa, and admit to a mistake I’ve made for a few weeks. During that time, several of our readers have tried to tell me about this item, but I’ve brushed it off. Why? Because I had confused it at various times with two other Jetsons releases! A similarly-packaged “Diamond Collection” item with ONLY THE 1ST SEASON came out on DVD format back in March 2017, and I mostly thought this was that item. Also, a bit over a year ago the Warner Archive released a Blu-ray titled as “The Complete Original Series” (we noted at the time that the Blu-ray release did NOT contain the second or third seasons which aired in syndicated between 1985 and 1987), and I got it mixed up with this at one point, too. So now, for the first time, this brand new release actually contains EVERY episode of The Jetsons (all 75 of them, from all three seasons), collected for the first time into an 8-DVD package. My thanks to every one of you who helped to set me straight. And I hope you can forgive my confusion. I plead 2020, LOL!

—–The Faceless Ones is the mostly missing eighth serial of the fourth season of Doctor Who, which was first broadcast in six weekly parts from April to May 1967. Starring Patrick Troughton as the Doctor, the story concerns a race of identity-stealing aliens known as the Chameleons. Only two of the six episodes are held in the BBC film archives, with snippets of footage and still images existing from the other four. Off-air recordings of the soundtrack also still exist, making the animation of a complete serial possible once again. The six new animated episodes are being made in full color and high definition. The DVD release will also include surviving archive material from the original 1967 production.

“HAWAII FIVE-0” TO CONCLUDE ITS SUCCESSFUL 10-SEASON RUN WITH A TWO-HOUR SERIES FINALE, FRIDAY, APRIL 3 ON CBS

HAWAII FIVE-0, the popular Friday night crime drama, will conclude its successful 10-season run with a two-hour series finale, Friday, April 3 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The drama, a reimagining of Leonard Freeman’s classic series, “Hawaii Five-O,” has been an outstanding performer throughout the past decade, both domestically and internationally, where it has been seen in more than 200 countries.

“It’s never easy to say goodbye to a hit franchise that carried on the legacy of the original with such distinction, while establishing its own signature style,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “From episode one, HAWAII FIVE-0 has been a huge success for us. Thanks to the amazing talents of the producers, writers, cast and crew, it has played a key role for a decade on our schedule and helped establish our powerhouse Friday night. With its finale, HAWAII FIVE-0 will have produced 240 episodes, maintaining a rabid, loyal fan base throughout, not only for the broadcast, but online and on social media, as well. The series, which consistently wins its time period, has been watched by almost 40 million viewers this season. In addition, the show has ranked in the top 15 or higher of broadcast dramas during its run. Also, HAWAII FIVE-0 is CBS’ most social primetime drama, generating 47 million impressions, 3.7 million engagements and 3.8 million video views, season-to-date.

HAWAII FIVE-0 premiered Monday, Sept. 20, 2010. It currently stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Ian Anthony Dale, Meaghan Rath, Beulah Koale, Katrina Law, Taylor Wily, Dennis Chun, Kimee Balmilero and Chi McBride. Peter M. Lenkov, David Wolkove, Matt Wheeler, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are executive producers for CBS Television Studios.
