Food Network will find out when Alex returns with more intense and action-packed culinary battles on the new season of Alex vs America, premiering Sunday, July 31st at 9pm ET/PT. In each one-hour episode, Alex simultaneously takes on three talented and brave chefs from across the United States – all experts in the same culinary specialty. Acclaimed chef Eric Adjepong hosts Alex and the competitors in two rounds of challenges that put their culinary specialty skills to the test as they attempt to defeat Alex for ultimate bragging rights and a cash prize. Will the competitors prevail at beating Alex in her own arena or will she send all the ambitious chefs home with nothing but their disappointment? New episodes of Alex vs America are available to stream weekly on discovery+, beginning July 31st.

At the start of each battle, Eric Adjepong presents Alex and the competitors with the culinary theme for their dishes. In the first round, the competitors can work together to select ingredients and even decide how much time goes on the clock. Each dish undergoes a blind tasting from two judges well-versed in the episodic theme. Only the top three chefs advance to the next round, with the least successful challenger sent home, even if it is Alex. The chef who wins the first round earns the right to select all the variables for the second culinary challenge, with the remaining chefs’ final plates determining who comes out on top. During the season Alex and the formidable competitors are faced with creating masterful dishes from varying culinary disciplines, including French cuisine, dessert, vegetarian, modernist cuisine and more. Fans of Alex can also see how she prepares different recipes and techniques inspired by the challenges in the digital companion series, Alex vs America Prep School.

LOS ANGELES – June 23, 2022 – USA Network pushes human nature to the limits with the new competition series, “Snake in the Grass,” which premieres on Monday, August 1 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT following “WWE Monday Night RAW.”

This action-packed social experiment is hosted by national radio and television personality Bobby Bones. Each episode will feature four players who are dropped into the wild for 36 hours with a chance to win $100,000. In order to win, the four must figure out which one of them is ‘the Snake’ – a saboteur who is secretly undermining the group every step of the way.

In this survival of the sneakiest, the players will compete in a series of grueling and mind-twisting challenges, from retrieving game pieces suspended on high wires over a 500-foot canyon, to scaling the face of a cliff to solve puzzles. With each successfully completed challenge, the competitors win a clue that helps reveal the identity of the Snake. Not wanting their identity revealed, the Snake will do whatever it takes to prevent the players from winning the clues by sabotaging their journey any chance they get.

After overnighting in the remote and rugged Central American jungle, the group will meet in ‘the Snake Pit’ where they must determine who they think the saboteur might be. If the three players can successfully reveal the identity, they will win the $100,000. If they get it wrong, the Snake walks away with all the money for themselves.

“Getting to host ‘Snake in the Grass’ has been a really cool experience,” Bones says. “I lived in Costa Rica for more than a month while we were shooting it, so I can’t wait for everyone to finally get to see what we’ve been up to. The show is a mix of adventure and mystery – it’s going to keep you guessing!”

Studio Ramsay Global (SRG), Gordon Ramsay’s worldwide production venture created with FOX Entertainment, has sold the UK format rights for his newest hit competition series NEXT LEVEL CHEF to ITV, it was jointly announced today by Ramsay; Rob Wade, President of Alternative Entertainment and Specials, FOX Entertainment; and Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for ITV.

Produced by Studio Ramsay Global and marking SRG’s first NEXT LEVEL CHEF format sale, it will be shot in a studio hub in the UK and also feature Ramsay alongside two additional panelists. Ramsay, Lisa Edwards, and Ian Peckham will executive produce. Additionally, SRG will act as the production services partner for FOX Alternative Entertainment on Season Two of the U.S. flagship format of the program from the UK hub. The return of NEXT LEVEL CHEF, America’s #1 new entertainment program last season, will premiere on FOX after Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.

Set on an iconic stage over three stories high, each floor containing a different kitchen featuring culinary equipment and ingredients matching their environment — from the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement. NEXT LEVEL CHEF pits line cooks, home chefs, social media stars, food truck owners and everything in between against one another as they compete within the circumstances of their assigned kitchen to win a cash prize and become a NEXT LEVEL CHEF.
