CULVER CITY, California – September 14, 2022 – Prime Video today announced its programming block and consumer experience for this year’s New York Comic Con. The lineup will feature live, in-person panels from returning fan-favorite series and highly anticipated new series, including The Legend of Vox Machina, Good Omens, The Wheel of Time, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and The Peripheral. The panels will offer fans a chance to hear directly from some their favorite Prime Video talent through moderated Q&As, as well as the opportunity to be among the first to see exclusive first looks and never-before-seen footage from a stellar lineup of Prime Video titles. KRAPOPOLIS, FOX Entertainment’s upcoming animated series from Emmy Award-winning creator and executive producer Dan Harmon (co-creator of “Rick and Morty”), will make its San Diego Comic-Con debut this month, when it will give fans their first look ever at the new series. Fans at Comic-Con will be able to literally slide into KRAPOPOLIS at the engaging, fun-for-all-ages, outdoor activation in front of the San Diego Convention Center at the Children’s Museum Park, located at W. Island Avenue and Front Street. Open to the public from Thursday, July 21 (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) through Sunday, July 24 (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM), attendees will travel 40 feet up to go down a 70-foot slide for the ride of their life into the center of the activation. Throughout the space, fans also will find a photo opportunity with the characters from the series and a chance to enter a sweepstakes to win a trip for two to Greece.

Fans also can experience the newly revealed Medusa Instagram game, available via QR code within the space, and see how long they can avoid her gaze before they get stoned! Additionally, the characters Stupendous, Tyrannis, Deliria, Shlub and Hippocampus will be towering over Comic-Con attendees on new artwork, which will be revealed on the colossal Omni Hotel in downtown San Diego starting on July 19.

The KRAPOPOLIS creative team and voice actors, including Harmon, executive producer and showrunner Jordan Young, supervising director Pete Michels and stars Berry, Murphy and Trussell, will participate in the comedy’s first ever Comic-Con panel in room 6BCF in the Convention Center on Saturday, July 23, at 2:45 PM. The hour-long panel also will give fans an early sneak peek at exclusive content from the series and discuss their plans for KRAPOPOLIS, which marks the first-ever animated series to be curated entirely on the blockchain by FOX Entertainment’s Web3 media company, Blockchain Creative Labs.

Within the Convention Center, fans can visit FOX Entertainment’s first-ever Comic-Con booth for exclusive KRAPOPOLIS merchandise sold in partnership with Toddland, and a photo opportunity with characters from the series. On Saturday, July 23, at 4:30 PM, attendees can meet the cast and creative team and receive autographed KRAPOPOLIS posters. Wholly owned by FOX Entertainment and produced by its Emmy-winning animation studio, Bento Box Entertainment, KRAPOPOLIS is an outgrowth of Harmon’s direct animation deal with FOX Entertainment. In the series, Ayoade voices “Tyrannis,” the mortal son of a goddess. He’s the benevolent King of Krapopolis trying to make do in a city that lives up to its name. Waddingham plays “Deliria,” Tyrannis’ mother, goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices. Within her extended Olympian family – forged in patricide and infidelity – she’s known as the trashy one. Berry is “Shlub,” Tyrannis’ father, a mantitaur (half centaur [horse + human], half manticore [lion + human + scorpion]). He is oversexed and underemployed, claims to be an artist and has literally never paid for anything, in any sense of that word, for his entire life. Murphy voices “Stupendous,” Tyrannis’ half-sister, daughter of Deliria and a cyclops. Trussell plays “Hippocampus,” Tyrannis’ half-brother, offspring of Shlub and a mermaid, and, obviously, a hot mess, biologically speaking.

Live interactive experience at the Hard Rock Hotel will transport fans into the inner world of the year’s buzziest drama

On the heels of the year’s hottest drama “Severance” landing 14 Emmy nominations, Apple TV+ today revealed details of the most sought-after destination at San Diego Comic-Con International – – the “Lumon Industries Orientation” experience. Developed in partnership with the series’ executive producer and director, Ben Stiller, the must-see immersive experience will run throughout the four days of the world’s largest fan convention, from Thursday, July 21 through Sunday, July 24 at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Fans will have a unique opportunity to be “severed” – a procedure that separates your work life from your personal life – as they immerse themselves as new employees in the world of Lumon Industries. The experience will take guests seeking better work-life balance through their first day on Lumon’s severed floor, but from the moment they enter the boardroom, they will realize that not all is as it seems.

New employees will navigate through several locations featured in the critically acclaimed series for an up-close dive into the mysterious Lumon world. Stops on their first-day orientation include the iconic boardroom where the new hires will meet their ‘innie” and MDR where they can try their hand at refining data. As employees explore life on the severed floor they will interact with longstanding Lumon employees and gather perks along the way.

Beginning Thursday, July 21 at 6:00 a.m. PT, and continuing throughout the weekend, fans will be able secure a reserved time to experience Lumon’s employee orientation, at welcometolumon.com. Additional slots will be released each day at 6:00 a.m. PT and a standby line will be available for those without a reservation. In accordance with Comic-Con’s COVID policy, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test will be required for entry, along with face masks and identification.

Comic-Con attendees can also expect a fan-favorite lineup of panels celebrating Apple original series during the four day festival. Full Cast and Showrunners to Take Part in Panel Q&A Thursday, July 21, Debuting New Footage from Season Two

Immersive Metaverse Experience Exploring the Show’s Haunted Woodstone Mansion Kicks Off July 21

CBS Original GHOSTS, television’s number one new series and the number one comedy on Paramount+, will make its San Diego Comic-Con debut for a panel discussion, a marketing activation and a Web3 Metaverse experience.

The Panel:

The full cast, including “livings” Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar, as well as “ghosts” Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long, and executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, will take part in a panel discussion from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, PT on Thursday, July 21 in Ballroom 20 at the San Diego Convention Center. The panel will be moderated by series guest star Matt Walsh and will treat fans with never-before-seen footage.

The Activation:

As part of CBS’s “Summer of GHOSTS” immersive marketing campaign honoring the “recently departed” first season and its upcoming sophomore season this fall, GHOSTS will show up in San Diego with Pinecone Trooper Pete’s “Friend Zone,” an activation with a campsite feel in honor of scout leader ghost Pete, whose unfortunate archery accident left him with an arrow through his neck for eternity. The activation will be set up at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park from July 21-24, and will feature a “scare-free” archery activation – but nothing is what it seems at this campsite setup on ‘the lawn’ of The Woodstone Mansion – the show’s setting and home to the ghosts. Fans can connect with Ghosts and ‘the other side’ through psychic mediums and programming that’ll give attendees insight into their past, present, and future lives.

The Metaverse:

Fans who can’t make it to San Diego can still enjoy the GHOSTS experience in the Metaverse, which, beginning on July 21, will take fans on an immersive journey through the haunted Woodstone Mansion to solve puzzles, undertake quests and earn limited edition, collectible NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The GHOSTS mansion was meticulously recreated using actual blueprints and features surprising interactions with the show’s main characters.

Season two of the critically acclaimed #1 new comedy/series and breakout hit GHOSTS will premiere Thursday, Sept. 29 in its new time slot at 8:30 PM, ET/PT on CBS. The entire first season is available to stream on demand on Paramount+. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.
