CULVER CITY, California—November 22, 2021—Today, Prime Video released the official trailer and key art for As We See It, from Emmy Award-winner Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights). All eight episodes of the Amazon Original series will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, January 21, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

As We See It follows Jack (Rick Glassman), Harrison (Albert Rutecki), and Violet (Sue Ann Pien), twentysomething roommates on the autism spectrum, as they strive to get and keep jobs, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them. With the help of their families, aide, and sometimes even each other, these roommates experience setbacks and celebrate triumphs on their own unique journeys towards independence and acceptance. Series stars Glassman, Rutecki, and Pien all identify as living on the autism spectrum. The series also stars Sosie Bacon as their aide Mandy, Chris Pang as Violet’s brother Van, and Joe Mantegna as Jack’s father Lou.

Katims serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, with Jeni Mulein, Danna Stern, Dana Idisis, Yuval Shafferman, and Udi Segal also executive producing. Jesse Peretz directs and executive produces the first episode. Based on an Israeli format created by Idisis and Shafferman, As We See It comes from True Jack Productions, Universal Television (a division of Universal Studio Group), Israel’s yes Studios, and Amazon Studios.

CULVER CITY, California – Nov. 18, 2021¬ – Two-time Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds) will star in the tense new Amazon Original drama series The Consultant, from MGM Television and Amazon Studios. The Consultant will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Tony Basgallop (Servant) is the creator and will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is the director and executive producer. Waltz also serves as executive producer.

The Consultant is a darkly comedic workplace thriller that explores the sinister relationship between boss and employee, asking how far we will go to get ahead, and to survive. Inspired by Bentley Little’s 2015 novel, Basgallop, Shakman, Waltz, Steve Stark, and Andrew Mittman are executive producers, and Kai Dolbashian will serve as co-producer. The Consultant is from MGM Television and Amazon Studios.

Waltz received the Academy, SAG, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Cannes Film Festival Awards for his portrayal of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s film Inglourious Basterds. Waltz won his second Academy Award for his performance in Tarantino’s Django Unchained. The role of Dr. King Schultz also garnered him Best Supporting Actor honors at the 2013 Golden Globe and BAFTA Awards. On December 1, 2014, Waltz was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

This year, Waltz was seen in Wes Anderson’s film The French Dispatch, and also reprised the role of Blofeld in the highly anticipated James Bond film No Time to Die. In 2020, Waltz received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for his performance in Quibi’s Most Dangerous Game. Other notable work includes his performances in Alita: Battle Angel, Downsizing, The Legend of Tarzan, Spectre, Big Eyes, The Zero Theorem, Carnage, and Water for Elephants.

In 2013, Waltz directed the Richard Strauss opera Der Rosenkavalier. His production premiered in December 2013 at the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp, Belgium, with musical direction by Dmitri Jurowski and Philipp Pointner.  In 2017, Waltz directed Giuseppe Verdi’s Falstaff, also with the Vlaamse Opera.  

Matt Shakman is a multiple Emmy Award-nominee for the series WandaVision and The Great, which he both executive produced and directed. He was also nominated for a DGA Award for his episode of Game of Thrones. Shakman is set to direct the next Star Trek movie for Paramount Pictures and currently serves as the artistic director of the Geffen Playhouse.

Tony Basgallop is the creator of the series Servant for Apple+. He also created and executive-produced the hit BBC series Inside Men and Hotel Babylon.

CULVER CITY, California – November 18, 2021 – Today, Prime Video and BBC One released first-look images for the much-anticipated psychological thriller Chloe, from Mam Tor Productions. Created by Alice Seabright (writer/director, Sex Education), the six-episode series will premiere this winter on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK, and on Prime Video in the U.S. and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Chloe follows Becky Green (Erin Doherty), who has been watching Chloe Fairbourne (Poppy Gilbert) via her perfect social media images for some time. Chloe’s charmed life, adoring husband, and circle of high-achieving friends are always just a click away, and Becky can’t resist peering into a world that contrasts so starkly with her own, as she cares for her mother, who has early onset dementia, in their small seaside flat on the outskirts of Bristol, England. When Chloe suddenly dies, Becky assumes a new identity and infiltrates the enviable lives of Chloe’s closest friends to find out what happened to her.

The newly released episodic images show Becky and her alter ego, Sasha, as she manufactures situations in order to meet Livia (Pippa Bennett-Warner) and Chloe’s other friends, to get to the truth of what really happened.

Chloe (6×60) is a co-production between BBC One, Mam Tor Productions, and Amazon Studios, and was commissioned by Piers Wenger, director of BBC Drama and Charlotte Moore, BBC chief content officer. It is created, written, and directed by Alice Seabright, who also serves as an executive producer. The series producer is Joanna Crow (Giri/Haji) and the second block director is Amanda Boyle (Skins). Executive producers are Tally Garner (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell) and Morven Reid (Pure) for Mam Tor Productions, and Ben Irving for the BBC.

Arlington, VA – November 18, 2021 – PBS Distribution has announced an early Black Friday through Cyber Monday deal for the PBS MASTERPIECE, PBS Documentaries, and PBS KIDS Prime Video Channel. Each channel will be available to new subscribers at a subscription rate of 0.99¢/month for two months beginning November 23 and running through November 29.

For a limited time, these three PBS Prime Video Channels can all be subscribed to for less than $3.00/month (plus any applicable taxes) and offer entertainment for everyone in the family.

CULVER CITY, Calif. – November 16, 2021 – Prime Video today released the official trailer for the sixth and final season of the sci-fi fan-favorite The Expanse. The new season will debut on Friday, December 10th with the first episode and continue weekly for six weeks, culminating with an epic series finale on January 14, 2022. The Amazon Original series will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 territories around the world, and is produced by Alcon Television Group.

This season of The Expanse picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide. Meanwhile in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run and hunted for betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power begins to rise.
