’90 DAY: THE SINGLE LIFE’ RETURNS FOR ITS THIRD SEASON, PREMIERING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH ON TLC AND DISCOVERY+

Los Angeles, Calif. – Some of the most-talked about names in the 90 Day universe will embark on a mission to prove that when one door closes, another opens. THE SINGLE LIFE premieres Monday, September 12th at 8PM ET/PT on TLC and will be available the same day on discovery+, the definitive non-fiction, real-life subscription streaming service.

On the brand new season of THE SINGLE LIFE, viewers will follow six determined singles who are diving back into the world of romance after their failed international relationships. Tackling relationship challenges ranging from commitment-phobia to meddling matchmakers to ever-present ex-boyfriends, these six singles are taking another chance on love.

As they re-enter the dating game, these singles will be thrown their fair share of curveballs. Will their budding romances hit it out of the park or, will they strike out once again? Season three will feature the following six singles:

Debbie, 69 (Las Vegas, Nevada) Most recently featured in The Single Life Season 2

Debbie’s dive back into the dating pool last season on THE SINGLE LIFE may have been a royal flop, but the 69-year-old widow isn’t ready to give up on romance just yet. Single and ready to mingle, Debbie continues her search for a partner who sees her for who she truly is: a fun, loving, kind-hearted woman who dreams of falling in love all over again. Debbie won’t let a few failed dates get her down and with her relationship still on the rocks with her son Colt, she could use the support of a romantic partner now more than ever.

Caesar, 49 (Jacksonville, North Carolina) Most recently featured in Before The 90 Days Season 3

90 Day fans’ favorite nail tech, Caesar, returns to the franchise in pursuit of true love – and this time he’s not going to stop until he finds Mrs. Right. After a failed 5-year online relationship, Caesar is looking for a woman who’s after his heart, not his wallet. With his 50th birthday around the corner, Caesar feels that time is ticking to find the woman of his dreams. Enlisting the help of a professional matchmaker in Kyiv, Caesar is determined to make his next romance stick.

Natalie, 37 (St. Petersburg, Florida) Most recently featured in The Single Life Season 2

Since leaving her estranged husband Michael, self-described “love needy” Natalie has been on the hunt for a man with whom she can start the family she’s always wanted. An aspiring model, Natalie moved to Florida where she fell for a handsome entrepreneur, who happens to run a modeling agency. The only catch: he already has children of his own from multiple women. Will the pair’s magnetic attraction conquer all or will their baggage prove too much to bear – leaving Natalie back at square one?

Veronica, 36 (Charlotte, North Carolina) Most recently featured in 90 Day: Pillow Talk

After several years of singlehood, 36-year-old Veronica is ready to make her dating scene debut once again. While 90 Day fans fell in love with her fiery personality, potential suitors find it hard to look past the fact that Veronica’s ex-fiance, Tim, is still in the picture because he’s not only her best friend but a father figure to her daughter. As a single mother struggling to find a man who will accept her ex-boyfriend turned bestie, Veronica fears that she’ll end up alone with no one but her cats to keep her company.

Tania, 32 (Colchester, Connecticut) Most recently featured in Happily Ever After Season 5

Free-spirited Tania has traded Connecticut for the scenic beaches of Aruba in the hopes of mending her broken heart. Tania still has a lot to process after ending her marriage to ex-husband Syngin over his disinterest in starting a family, but she’s ready to give moving on the old college try. As she searches the tropics for someone to fill the void left by her lost love, Tania decides to widen her net. She’s open to meeting men, women or any friend who will help her move on from her ex.

Tiffany, 30 (Frederick, Maryland) Most recently featured in Happily Ever After Season 6

The new and improved Tiffany is ready to get back in the dating game after separating from her South African husband, Ronald. With the help of a weight loss surgery, Tiffany 2.0’s confidence is at an all-time high and she is searching for someone who loves her kids as much as she does. She is craving a new romance, but moving on from the man that she spent the last 6 years of her life with will prove more difficult than she anticipated.

“SISTER WIVES” RETURNS FOR ITS MOST POWERFUL SEASON TO DATE ON SEPTEMBER 11 AT 10 ET/PT

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – Fresh off the heels of a head turning season, SISTER WIVES picks up right where the season left off when the series returns on Sunday, September 11 at 10PM ET/PT. For twelve years, dedicated fans have followed the highs and lows between Kody Brown and his four wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn – as they’ve expanded their family and celebrated life’s big moments from birthdays to weddings and babies. This season, Sister Wives takes a dramatic and emotional turn, as Christine leaves Kody and changes the dynamic of this polygamist family forever.

“When TLC first introduced Sister Wives, the country was fascinated by a family with a very different lifestyle than most. The Browns challenged the notion of a traditional family mold and over a decade later, their family dynamics are still resonating with viewers because of their honesty, vulnerability and now, their relatability,” said Howard Lee, President of TLC Streaming and Network Originals.

Last year, Christine kicked Kody out of her home, which was one of the hardest things she has ever done. But now, formally putting an end to their marriage turns out to be even harder. And when she has to tell her sister wives and her children, nobody takes it well. She is determined to move to Utah to be with her older children but when Kody tries to stop her, Christine calls him out for favoring one wife and her children, over all the others. The stresses multiply as people begin to take sides.

And on top of it all, COVID is still a major issue for the Brown family, as first, Janelle and her children test positive and later, Kody, Robyn and their kids face their own struggles during the pandemic. When Christine’s daughter Mykelti gives birth, she invites some of the sister wives to be part of it, but not others and her choices are surprising. Then, without talking to Kody, Janelle buys a giant RV and moves onto their undeveloped Coyote Pass property as she is desperate to get construction started on their homes. This season will see the family divided like never before, leaving one thing for certain: the Browns will never be the same.

Earlier this year, Sister Wives averaged a 2.07 W25-54 rating and 2.5M P2+ viewers and it is cable’s #1 non-sports program with W25-54 in 2022td.

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The couples that viewers have come to know and love are back for a brand-new season of 90 DAY FIANCÉ: HAPPILY EVER AFTER?, premiering on Sunday, August 28 at 8pm ET/PT on TLC and discovery+. As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they’ll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?

TLC is currently in the midst of another red-hot year. For the third year running, the network is the #1 Primetime ad-supported cable network with W25-54. Additionally, BEFORE THE 90 DAYS currently holds the title of the #1 unscripted cable program in 2022 with P25-54 (non sports/non-news).

Season seven of the highly anticipated return of HAPPILY EVER AFTER? will feature the following six couples, with another to be announced soon:

Angela, 56 (Hazlehurst, GA) and Michael, 34 (Nigeria)

With his visa issues ongoing, Michael is still in Nigeria and Angela feels he’s becoming increasingly neglectful of her. Despite their issues with it in the past, he has reactivated his social media accounts, and even gone so far as to block her, causing Angela to wonder for the first time whether he’s scamming her. Craving attention and in need of support from others, Angela starts a flirtatious friendship with a man she met online, who she considers meeting in person. But with the approval of Michael’s visa fast approaching, Angela still wants to give their marriage one last chance. Can Angela and Michael mend their broken relationship, or will all of their baggage prove to be too much?

Elizabeth, 31 (Tampa, FL) and Andrei, 35 (Moldova)

Things are looking up for Elizabeth and Andrei. The pair is moving up in the world: they’ve bought a home, Andrei is settling into work and Libby is considering a career change to pursue her lifelong passion for music. However, tensions are mounting amidst concerns that Andrei is cutting Libby off from her family. Andrei’s relationship with her family has always been rocky, but when an unexpected – and atypical – green card interview is demanded of Andrei, the couple is left wondering if someone is trying to sabotage their happiness – and potentially get him deported.

Jovi, 31 (New Orleans, LA) and Yara, 27 (Ukraine)

While Jovi and Yara love being parents to baby Mylah, Yara is combating postpartum insecurities and their relationship has changed. Yara is also battling a particularly tough bout of homesickness, and the couple considers a visit to Ukraine – but everything changes when the Russia-Ukraine War breaks out. Jovi & Yara decide to go to Prague, where Yara’s mother lives. Yara is desperate to help her loved ones navigate the crisis and considers her options for bringing them over to the States. Against a backdrop of so much turmoil, will this couple be able to find any peace?

Ed, 56 (San Diego, CA) and Liz, 29 (San Diego, CA)

Ed and Liz’s journey to the altar faces roadblock after roadblock as the couple’s lingering trust and control issues resurface. To make matters more difficult, Ed’s friends and family remain reluctant to welcome his new fiancée into the fold. The couple is committed to making their relationship work and are planning engagement parties and looking for homes together. But, between the couple’s jealousy and family troubles, everyone wonders: will they or won’t they walk down the aisle?

Jenny, 63 (Palm Springs, CA) and Sumit, 33 (India)

The cat’s out of the bag: Jenny and Sumit are married, and the groom’s family is not happy to hear it. Sumit’s relatives refuse to acknowledge their nuptials as Jenny grows more and more homesick. With their marriage off to a rocky start, Sumit is focused on finding a way to repair his relationship with his family. The couple is also slowly realizing that their age difference may actually be affecting their relationship – their visions for married life may not be compatible. Will Jenny & Sumit be able to find common ground, or are their lives going in separate directions?

Kim, 51 (San Diego, CA) and Usman, 33 (Nigeria)

Kim travels to Nigeria prepared to propose to Usman. Unfortunately for her, neither partner’s family seems to support the union. Kim’s son Jamal worries that she’s moving too fast, while Usman’s mother frets about him marrying an older woman who is not able to have children. As her stay in Nigeria continues, Kim learns the hard way that two’s company and three’s a crowd as the prospect of Usman taking a second wife looms. Adamant that she must be his first wife, Kim is frustrated by Usman’s family’s determination to set him up with a younger woman before she marries him. Heated words and milkshakes fly – will Kim be able to accept Usman’s family stipulations on their potential union, or is this relationship doomed to fail?

TLC’S HIT SHOW ‘SMOTHERED’ RETURNS FEATURING SEVEN MOTHER-DAUGHTER DUOS

— New Episodes Every Monday Beginning August 8th on TLC and Streaming on discovery+ —

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – Just when you thought you had seen it all, SMOTHERED returns to TLC on Monday, August 8 at 9PM ET/PT with more to love. This season welcomes back four fan-favorite mother-daughter duos and introduces three new pairings. From bathwater to bedrooms to boyfriends, these twosomes have shared everything and with beautiful babies being welcomed into the mix, a new legacy ensues – grand-smothering!

Meet the new and returning cast of SMOTHERED:

Paula & Francia (new) believe there’s no such thing as boundaries. They dance, party, and sleep nude together – even indulging in the occasional tickle fight. For this pairing, mother-daughter roles are reversed. While Francia’s youthful spirit makes her act like a kid, Paula shoulders the responsibility of making sure that her mother is properly fed and always has a packed lunch. An only child, Paula’s possessiveness over her mother reaches new extremes when she learns that Francia is planning to adopt her niece from Colombia, which leads Paula to put an elaborate plan into motion to derail her journey and keep her at home under her thumb.

Shay & Angie (new) have always been attached at the hip, and they’ve grown even closer since daughter Shay came out as transgender. Angie is determined to be there for every step of Shay’s journey to womanhood. However, her mother’s support starts to feel a little too overbearing for Shay’s liking when Angie starts sticking her nose in her daughter’s personal life and decides to take the lead on Shay’s weight loss journey. Shay begins to feel more like her mother’s pet project than her daughter.

Ashley & Cathy (new) hold each other’s hand through everything. When this look-alike mother-daughter pairing gets bored, head-turning behavior is sure to follow. From chin lifts to nipple piercings to tattoos, no activity is off-limits for Cathy and Ashley. Their legendary boudoir photo shoots have captured the attention of plenty of potential partners on dating apps, sometimes catching the eye of the same man on more than one occasion. When Ashley moves in next door, the duo spends more time together than ever – much to the dismay of Ashley’s sister, Samantha, who shares a home with their mother. Ashley deliberately excludes Samantha, causing her sister to grow bitterly jealous.

Cher & Dawn (returning) dress alike, talk alike, act alike – they can even tell what the other is thinking! After being separated for six years while Jared finished his residency in New York, Dawn is ecstatic that Cher is finally moving back home to Florida. The only problem is that Jared’s new job is taking them to Miami, which is closer to his family. Dawn is determined to persuade the family to move back to Tampa for good.

Cristina & Kathy (returning) are always up in each other’s business – especially now that Cristina has moved from five to four houses down the street from her mother. With Carlo’s pizzeria finally on its feet, Kathy looks forward to having Cristina all to herself again. But when Carlo announces that he is dead set on expanding his business, a jealous Kathy worries that the new venture will start to eat up her daughter’s time again. Employing some old-school mom-guilt, Kathy pushes Cristina into a heated confrontation with her husband, who insists that her mother keep her nose out of his affairs.

Angelica & Sunhe (returning) are closer-than-close – sharing everything from their bank account to their bathwater. Crushed by Jason’s hesitation to tie the knot and her mother’s disapproval of the match, Angelica has called off her wedding. Sunhe dreams of raising Angelica’s newborn baby, Amara, by her daughter’s side. However, her plans are frustrated by the fact that the family is still living under Jason’s roof, while Angelica remains determined to make their relationship work, Jason insists that Sunhe hit the road. Tensions come to a head when Sunhe issues him an impossible ultimatum: if she goes, she’s taking Angelica and Amara with her.

Lauren & Lisa (returning) turned heads last season when Lisa helped her daughter carry out a secret at-home insemination, leaving Lauren’s wife Laura Leigh in the dark. Now that Lauren is finally pregnant, Laura Leigh insists that the mother-daughter duo sets boundaries – no more weekly sleepovers and bath-time video chats. Laura Leigh’s attempts to put distance between her wife and her overbearing mother-in-law sets off the control freak in Lisa. But the real trouble begins after baby Reagan arrives and Laura Leigh and Lisa’s rivalry reaches its peak.

These highly rated new series left viewers wanting more and as a leader in family and relationship programming, TLC is delivering exciting sophomore seasons of their journeys.

Along with these renewals, TLC announced summer premiere dates for four returning, fan-favorite series. DR. PIMPLE POPPER pops into the unknown, tackling masses, inflamed lumps and whole-body rashes. This season she continues to struggle with the side effects of her condition and seeks out answers to her mounting medical questions. Shauna is in the driver’s seat (literally!) on her journey for independence as she starts driving lessons. Will she be able to achieve the huge accomplishment of getting her license? Meanwhile, her parents Patty and Mark hunt for a new house that will have a separate living space for Shauna, however, Shauna and her younger sister, Rylee, are making their own plans to move out on their own… despite their parents’ worry. In order for them to live independently, Shauna must first get a job. Of course, that’s easier said than done as some careers may be out of her reach given her child-like stature. The family visits older sister Tara in Florida, and while they’re looking forward to some fun in the sun, they know it may not be long before things get heated between Tara and Shauna. Through all of this, Shauna is still looking for love and explores new ways of dating, including meeting a man who also has pituitary dwarfism. Will sparks fly between these two kindred spirits? I AM SHAUNA RAE is produced by Figure 8 Films for TLC.

DAVID & ANNIE: AFTER THE 90 DAYS – Returning later in 2022, Season 2

This time, David’s daughter Ashley is coming along to finally meet Annie’s family in their village and afterwards, they head to the tourist city of Phuket. The hope is to immerse the kids in English and give them American experiences like BBQ and amusement parks. By the end of their trip, will the kids’ language skills improve enough to ace their visa interview and come to America? DAVID & ANNIE: AFTER THE 90 DAYS is produced by Sharp Entertainment, a part of Sony Pictures Television, for TLC.

Discovery and AT&T Close WarnerMedia Transaction

Combination of Discovery and WarnerMedia Creates Warner Bros. Discovery, Global Leader in Entertainment and Streaming

Warner Bros. Discovery to Begin Trading on the Nasdaq as “WBD” on Monday, April 11

NEW YORK and DALLAS, April 8, 2022 – Today Discovery, Inc. and AT&T Inc.* (NYSE:T) announced that they have closed their transaction to combine the WarnerMedia business with Discovery. The combination creates a premier standalone global media and entertainment company, Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc., which will begin trading on the Nasdaq with the start of trading on Monday, April 11, under the new ticker symbol “WBD.”

Warner Bros. Discovery will create and distribute the world’s most differentiated and complete portfolio of content, brands and franchises across television, film and streaming. The new company combines WarnerMedia’s premium entertainment, sports and news assets with Discovery’s leading non-fiction and international entertainment and sports businesses, including Discovery Channel, discovery+, Warner Bros. Entertainment, CNN, CNN+, DC, Eurosport, HBO, HBO Max, HGTV, Food Network, Investigation Discovery, TLC, TNT, TBS, truTV, Travel Channel, MotorTrend, Animal Planet, Science Channel, New Line Cinema, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Turner Classic Movies and others.

“Today’s announcement marks an exciting milestone not just for Warner Bros. Discovery but for our shareholders, our distributors, our advertisers, our creative partners and, most importantly, consumers globally,” said David Zaslav, Warner Bros. Discovery chief executive officer. “With our collective assets and diversified business model, Warner Bros. Discovery offers the most differentiated and complete portfolio of content across film, television and streaming. We are confident that we can bring more choice to consumers around the globe while fostering creativity and creating value for shareholders. I can’t wait for both teams to come together to make Warner Bros. Discovery the best place for impactful storytelling.”

“We are at the dawn of a new age of connectivity, and today marks the beginning of a new era for AT&T,” said John Stankey, AT&T chief executive officer. “With the close of this transaction, we expect to invest at record levels in our growth areas of 5G and fiber, where we have strong momentum, while we work to become America’s best broadband company. At the same time, we’ll sharpen our focus on returns to shareholders. We expect to invest for growth, strengthen our balance sheet and reduce our debt, all while continuing to pay an attractive dividend that puts us among the top dividend paying stocks in America.

“In WarnerMedia, Discovery inherits a talented and innovative team and a dynamic growing and global company that is well positioned to lead the transformation that’s taking place across media and entertainment, direct-to-consumer distribution and technology. The combination of the two companies will strengthen WarnerMedia’s established and leading position in media and streaming. And our shareholders will now have a significant stake in Warner Bros. Discovery and its future successes. We look forward to seeing what the WBD team accomplishes with these industry-leading assets.”

Under terms of the agreement, which was structured as a Reverse Morris Trust transaction, at close AT&T received $40.4 billion in cash and WarnerMedia’s retention of certain debt. Additionally, shareholders of AT&T received 0.241917 shares of WBD for each share of AT&T common stock they held at close. As a result, AT&T shareholders received 1.7 billion shares of WBD, representing 71% of WBD shares on a fully diluted basis. Discovery’s existing shareholders own the remainder of the new company. In addition to their new shares of WBD common stock, AT&T shareholders continue to hold the same number of shares of AT&T common stock they held immediately prior to close.

TLC’S “90 DAY FIANCÉ” RETURNS WITH SEVEN STANDOUT COUPLES

— New Season Premieres Sunday, April 17 at 8PM ET/PT —

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – The original 90 Day series that started it all and sparked obsessive conversation around the world is back! Seven couples have 90 days to figure out whether their love can go the distance when the ninth season of 90 DAY FIANCÉ premieres on TLC and discovery+ Sunday, April 17 at 8PM ET/PT. Last year, 90 DAY FIANCÉ was the #1 unscripted show with all key adult and women demos, and since the show’s original debut in 2014, 4.3 billion hours of 90 Day content have been consumed. The show has truly taken the globe by storm, having filmed in 46 countries, aired in 181 territories and even been broadcast in 39 different languages.

Following K-1 visa rules, the couples will have 90 days to wed before the visa expires and their fiancé is sent back to their home country. The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there’s even more at stake with these international love stories. This season, couples aren’t just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America – many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best… will these seven couples make it to the altar?

Meet this season’s couples:

Emily, 29 (Salina, KS) and Kobe, 34 (Cameroon)

Emily left her small town for the bustling city of Xi’an, China to teach English. While out clubbing one night, she met Kobe and the connection was instant. Within two weeks, their one-night stand turned into an engagement, and a pregnancy followed soon after. When Emily returned to Kansas, they both assumed Kobe’s visa would be quickly approved, but the pandemic delayed him by almost two years. During that time, Emily gave birth to their son and has been raising and supporting him on her own, while Kobe has not even had the chance to meet him yet. The pair is ready to reunite and become a family, but will their relationship be the same given all the physical, geographical and familial changes since that fateful night out in China?

Ari, 30 (Princeton, NJ) and Bini, 31 (Ethiopia)

Viewers first met Ari and Bini on 90 DAY FIANCÉ: THE OTHER WAY, and after several seasons of relationship hurdles, the couple is giving it one last try in the United States. The pair first met crossing the street in Ethiopia and the rest is history: Ari found out she was pregnant and moved to Ethiopia to be with Bini. But when their son, Avi, needed surgery, Ari moved back to the United States, and the distance, amplified by Bini’s poor communication skills, strained their relationship. In spite of it all, Ari and Bini plan to wed, but will religion, family introductions and Bini’s past get in the way?

Kara, 29 (Charlottesville, VA) and Guillermo, 23 (Venezuela)

Guillermo, a Venezuelan living in the Dominican Republic, caught Kara’s eye while she was on a work trip there. The two kept in touch after she returned home, not thinking it was anything serious, but that all changed when Kara’s job asked her to relocate to the Dominican Republic. Things escalated from there – Kara moved in with Guillermo upon her arrival, and an engagement quickly followed, raising eyebrows amongst Kara’s skeptical family and friends. Due to the pandemic, Kara moved back home, and the two have been separated for nine months. With his visa approved, Guillermo is now set to move to Charlottesville, but will their whirlwind romance be able to survive Kara’s partying habits and Guillermo’s insecurities?

Bilal, 42 (Kansas City, MO) and Shaeeda, 37 (Trinidad and Tobago)

The sparks flew instantly when Bilal and Shaeeda finally met in person after connecting online months before: in fact, Bilal proposed after spending just one week together! Their lives couldn’t be more different, as Bilal is a divorced father of two while Shaeeda still lives at home with her parents. Shaeeda is ready to start a family of her own with Bilal, but he isn’t sure he wants any more children. On top of that, Bilal wants Shaeeda to sign a prenup, causing a further rift between the two. Will the pressures of moving to the United States, taking care of a family, and fostering a healthy relationship prevent them from walking down the aisle?

Jibri, 28 (Rapid City, SD) and Miona, 23 (Serbia)

It was a picture-perfect moment: Jibri noticed Miona in the audience of his band’s show in North Serbia. They’ve been together ever since, and Jibri proposed during one of their trips around the world. Miona can’t wait to move to the United States and envisions a lavish life in Los Angeles, but Jibri recently moved back to his family’s home in South Dakota. Will Miona be able to accept a life with Jibiri in a small town, or will the strains of living with his family, combined with her jealousy, prove to be too much?

Yvette, 48 (Albuquerque, NM) and Mohamed, 25 (Egypt)

Despite a 23-year age gap, Mohamed slid into Yvette’s DMs after noticing their shared love of fitness. The flirtation became an engagement when Yvette traveled to Egypt to meet Mohamed in person. At home, Yvette has a twelve-year-old son with special needs, meaning Mohamed is going to be closer in age to his future stepson than to his wife if they say “I do.” On top of that, the culture norms in the States are different from what Mohamed is used to, and he’s not sure he’s comfortable with the independent and carefree way Yvette lives her life. Will the realities of a life together be too much for this couple’s relationship to survive?

Patrick, 31 (Austin, TX) and Thaís, 25 (Brazil)

When Patrick traveled to Brazil to reconnect with his father’s side of the family, he decided to look for a Portuguese teacher on dating apps. Thaís swiped right and was more than happy to help him out. Patrick courted Thaís over several trips to Brazil, winning her heart, showering her with lavish gifts and eventually proposing. Despite never having been to the United States, Thaís is excited to start a new life with Patrick, but will he be able to give her the extravagant life she’s used to in Brazil? And will the deep emotional wounds Patrick sustained from his first divorce cause him to think twice about his pending nuptials?
