how a man born into slavery became one of the most prominent statesmen and influential voices for

This four-part documentary series recounts the establishment of the
Prince Hall Masons in 1775 through the formation of all-Black towns and
business districts, Historically Black Colleges and Universities,
destinations for leisure and the social media phenomenon of Black
Twitter. Gates sits with noted scholars, politicians, cultural leaders and
old friends including Charles M. Blow (journalist and commentator),
Angela Davis (political activist, scholar and author), André Holland
(actor), Fab 5 Freddie (hip-hop pioneer and visual artist), Jason King
(chair of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music), and Killer Mike
(rapper and activist) to discuss this world behind the color line and what
it looks like today.

“Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom”

Born in Dorchester County, Maryland—2022 marks her bicentennial
celebration—Harriet Tubman escaped north to Philadelphia in 1849,
covering more than 100 miles alone. Once there, she became involved in the
abolitionist movement and, through the Underground Railroad, guided an
estimated 70 enslaved people to freedom. She would go on to serve as a
Civil War scout, nurse and spy, never wavering in her pursuit of equality.
Featuring more than 20 historians and experts and grounded in the most
recent scholarship, the film goes beyond the standard narrative to explore
what motivated Tubman, including divine inspiration, to become one of the

greatest freedom fighters in our nation’s history. Academy Award-
nominated and Emmy® Award-winning actor Alfre Woodard narrates.

“Becoming Frederick Douglass”

Born in 1818 on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Frederick Douglass escaped from
slavery in 1838 and went on to become the most well-known leader of the
abolitionist movement. A gifted writer and powerful, charismatic orator, it is

estimated that more Americans heard Douglass speak than any other 19th-
century figure, Black or white. The documentary explores how Douglass

controlled his own image and narrative, embracing photography as a tool for
social justice, and the role he played in securing the right to freedom and
complete equality for African Americans.

American Experience “The Murder of Emmett Till”

Director Stanley Nelson takes viewers back 65 years to August 1955, when a
14-year-old African American boy allegedly whistled at a white woman in a
grocery store in Money, Mississippi. Emmett Till, a teen from Chicago, didn’t
understand that he had broken the unwritten laws of the Jim Crow South until
three days later, when on August 28, two white men dragged him from his
bed in the dead of night, beat him brutally and then shot him in the head.
Although his killers were arrested and charged with murder, they were both
acquitted quickly by an all-white, all-male jury. Shortly afterward, the
defendants sold their story, including a detailed account of how they
murdered Till, to a journalist. The murder and the trial horrified the nation and the world and helped
mobilize the Civil Rights movement. Three months after his body was pulled from the Tallahatchie River, the
Montgomery bus boycott began. Nelson’s film uncovered new eyewitnesses to the crime and helped
prompt the U.S. Department of Justice to reopen the case.

The feature-length documentary celebrates the origins and history of Canada’s favourite children’s show, Mr. Dressup, which built a legacy of kindness, patience, inclusiveness, and creativity in 4,000 episodes across 29 years on CBC in Canada. The documentary will combine never-before-seen archival footage, interviews with series puppeteers and musicians, the Coombs family, and other notable Canadians, all sharing the impact the series had on them. The project also includes fascinating insights into Coombs and how he worked with other key creators and partners, including his friendship with Fred Rogers.

Season Three of the action-thriller series finds Jack Ryan on the run and in a race against time. Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and suddenly finds himself a fugitive out in the cold. Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, trying to stay alive, while preventing a massive global conflict. In addition to Krasinski, also returning for the third season are Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November, and joining the cast are new series regulars Nina Hoss as Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright.

ONE on Prime Video 2 will be available exclusively to Prime members in the U.S. and Canada, broadcast live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The lead card kicks off at 8 p.m. EDT, with the main card beginning at 10 p.m. EDT.

Expect fireworks as Singaporean-Hawaiian superstar Angela Lee, the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Champion, moves up a division to challenge ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion Xiong Jing Nan in a main event trilogy fight. In the co-main event, Thai striking dynamo Superbon Singha Mawynn defends his featherweight kickboxing belt against No. 5 ranked Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan, who is stepping up on short notice to replace injured No. 1 contender Chingiz Allazov.

CULVER CITY, California – September 23, 2022 – (NASDAQ:AMZN) – Today, Amazon Freevee and Bishop T.D. Jakes announced a two-year deal to stream the spiritual leader’s most-loved sermons on the service in the U.S. beginning December 1. The deal includes streaming rights in the U.S., UK, and Germany, with exclusive on-demand and FAST channel rights to 300 hours of content, featuring some of the Bishop’s most treasured new and archived sermons and interviews.

Bishop Jakes will be the first faith leader to have their ministry available on the service, including a FAST channel, providing a free-of-charge, dedicated space for viewers inspired by his teachings and message. The T.D. Jakes FAST Channel will be available for customers in the U.S. to stream on the Freevee app and within Prime Video in early 2023.

Amazon averages 15.3 million viewers across all platforms for first exclusive TNF game

TNF draws 4.25 rating in Adults 18-34, the #1 rated program for the week in that demo and 18% higher than the average A18-34 NFL rating this season

A new era for streaming arrives, as Prime Video’s exclusive presentation of TNF delivered more viewers than any other program on broadcast or cable Thursday night

NEW YORK-September 22, 2022-Prime Video’s inaugural presentation of Thursday Night Football scored big last week; including all available data on every platform from Amazon’s first party measurement metrics** and Nielsen Media research, TNF averaged 15.3 million viewers (AMA) during its September 15 showdown between the AFC rival Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.

In Nielsen National TV Ratings alone, Thursday Night Football averaged an impressive 13.0 million total viewers, up +47% from last year’s comparable Week 2 TNF matchup, which aired solely on NFL Network (NYG vs. WSH, 8.84M, includes OTA). Thursday’s audience on Prime Video peaked from 10:45-10:59 p.m. with 14.6 million viewers as the Chiefs outdueled the Chargers, 27-24. Other Nielsen highlights include:

· TNF on Prime Video delivered an audience 7 years younger than the linear NFL audience through Week 2 of the 2022 season (46 vs. 53). The audience was 8 years younger than last year’s average TNF audience (54, tri-cast on Fox, NFL Network and Prime Video).

· TNF on Prime Video delivered a 4.25 rating in Adults 18-34, 18% higher than the average A18-34 rating for an NFL telecast this season. It was the #1 program of the week across broadcast and cable with A18-34 (9/12-9/18).

· TNF on Prime Video also rated higher than last year’s full-season TNF tri-cast average among A18-34 (+29%, 4.25 vs. 3.3) and A18-49 (+9%, 5.0 vs. 4.6).

· TNF on Prime Video was the most-watched program of the night across broadcast or cable, out-delivering the #2 program by +271% in total viewers (13.0M vs. 3.5M, Young Sheldon on CBS).

· According to Nielsen local market ratings, the local broadcasts in Los Angeles averaged 602,000 viewers, and 555,000 viewers in Kansas City.

**Amazon aggregates direct viewing data from the millions of devices and accounts watching in order to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of viewership across Amazon’s channels. Amazon first party viewership metrics deliver insights that combine direct first-party data with Nielsen figures within a large-scale “broadcast” encoded event, as measured by their panel.

Amazon’s measurement combines 1st and 3rd party data to provide advertising customers, as well as the broader marketplace, with a more holistic picture of Thursday Night Football’s viewership.
