Each “30 Days With” docuseries will focus on a primary subject and give a personal spotlight over the course of four episodes.

“30 Days With: Why Don’t We” will launch the YouTube Originals documentary franchise in the US and will take viewers inside the lives of the five members of the band, Why Don’t We (Daniel Seavey, Corbyn Besson, Jonah Marais, Jack Avery, and Zach Herron). Since their debut in 2016, the Los Angeles-based band has amassed over 3 billion global career streams, 703 million YouTube views, and has sold out back-to-back North American and global headline tours. “30 Days With: Why Don’t We” will showcase the band as they open up about their evolution, coping with the global pandemic while making music, music videos and everything that went into the creation of their highly anticipated album, The Good Times and the Bad Ones. The 4 episode docu-series premieres December 9.

“30 Days With: Ryan Garcia” follows the 22-year-old undefeated professional boxing phenom, Ryan Garcia as he prepares for his January 2nd, 2021 fight against 32-year-old British boxer, Luke Campbell (2012 Olympic Gold Medalist in the lightweight division). Over four installments, viewers will see firsthand Garcia’s training and preparation for the biggest match of his career, including how he dealt with the disappointing postponement of the highly anticipated fight due to Campbell testing positive for COVID 19. Fans can also get a sneak peek of Garcia’s day-to-day life by following his personal YouTube channel, which has amassed over 20M views since launching in May. “30 Days With: Ryan Garcia” will premiere in December.

“30 Days With: HANAODENGAN” tracks the popular Japanese YouTube creators, Hanao and Dengan, as they attempt, despite the pandemic, to give back a summer rite of passage to the youth of Japan. The series creators worked closely with a high school student to plan an unforgettable surprise for her classmates and provide hope for a brighter future. The 4 episode series premieres in December.

The 12-episode documentary follows the grassroots work of multicultural/intersectional organizations fighting the Los Angeles county’s $3.5 billion jail expansion plan in 2018 and examines the issues of cash bail, unlawful arrest, over-policing of Black and brown neighborhoods, and mass incarceration. “Resist” is an emotional look into the motivations and daily struggles of the movement workers on the ground, featuring incredibly inspiring stories from Patrisse Cullors, members of JusticeLA including Jayda Rasberry of Dignity and Power Now, Helen Jones of Dignity and Power Now and Black Lives Matter Los Angeles, Bamby Salcedo of TransLatina Coalition, and Johnathan Perez of Immigrant Youth Coalition. Today, YouTube Originals launched “Kid Correspondent” – a new four-part election special on YouTube and YouTube Kids that helps parents and families better understand and talk about civic engagement and the democratic process with their children as they develop the necessary skills to, one day, become more informed grown-ups. Part 1 and 2 are free-to-stream today and part 3 and 4 will premiere on Monday, October 26 at 9:00AM PT / 12:00PM ET on the SoulPancake channel. “Kid Correspondent” will also be available on YouTube Originals for Kids & Family channel and the YouTube Kids app.

“Kid Correspondent,” from SoulPancake, is an inquiry-based kids and family program from the creators of Kid President. The 4-part special features Riah and a crew of correspondents that find inspiration in the democratic process and learn life lessons like how to have healthy disagreements, or how to use a decision tree to make the tough decisions kids are thinking about. “Kid Correspondent” will also feature guest appearances from celebrities and YouTube Creators including Kristen Bell, Mandy Moore, Rainn Wilson, Soledad O’Brien, Robin Roberts, Lisa Loeb, Rosanna Pansino and more. This is the second program (“YouChoose 2020” – premiered October 6) that launched this month as part of YouTube’s work to help users access helpful, authoritative voting-related information.

The first-round tournament match-ups were announced today by MrBeast and feature several new and returning YouTube creators such as Alex Warren, Gibi, Jaiden Animations, KSI, Kwebblekop, Lazerbeam, Matt Stonie, Mark Rober, Marques Brownlee, Preston, Safiya Nygaard, Swoozie, Typical Gamer, Yes Theory, ZHC, and many more.

Full of live competitions, games and surprises, this special event will award the last creator standing a cash prize to be given to the winner’s subscribers. The first installment of “The Creator Games,” where Creators competed in a tournament of head-to-head Rock, Paper, Scissors contests, was one of the most-viewed YouTube Originals live events ever, with over 662,000 peak concurrent viewers and over 35 million views to date.

In search for the “Smartest Creator in the World,” MrBeast has upped the ante for the second “Creator Games” with a “Wheel of Games” that will determine the challenge for each round – from trivia to geography, spelling bees, and beyond – all the games are designed to present challenging and fun, one-on-one matchups, ultimately crowning one champion to claim the massive cash prize for their fans. This one of a kind tournament event will culminate with an epic finale, and feature surprise bonus rounds at every turn.

Adding to the drama of competition, viewers of the second “Creator Games” will also have the chance to bring back an eliminated Creator by voting them back into the tournament during later rounds of gameplay. Also new for viewers of the second “Creator Games” is a new Creator Games Pick’em (espn.com/creatorgamespickem) game from ESPN, which will allow anyone to play along at home during the tournament for a chance to win $5,000. The Pick’em game gives fans the chance to predict the winners of each round through the championship match, collecting points for every correct pick during the tournament.

Round two follows the highly successful first round of the “The Creator Games.” As one of the most viewed YouTube Originals live events, the stream raised over $1 Million for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO). The winner of the tournament, Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, won $250,000 and donated the earnings to the CDC Foundation (the organization of his choice).
