This season’s new couples face travel limitations and restrictions on consorting with old connections, temptations of alcohol and drugs. Will they stay together and stay out of prison?

NEW TO “LIFE AFTER LOCKUP”

While Chance finally builds Bobbie a garage bedroom and promptly moves her in, Bobbie feels it is all a ploy to get rid of her. Chance has been in and out of prison his entire adult life but can the future he is planning with Tayler and the girls keep him out of prison for good?

Chazz & Branwin (La Grange, KY/Portland, OR))

These newlyweds face their first challenge immediately– distance. Branwin’s parole restrictions require her to stay in Portland, and Chazz has a job he takes very seriously back in La Grange, KY. Once they’re able to be together, Chazz’s sister struggles to accept their relationship, and Branwin’s daughter and friends think Chazz and the move are a bad idea. Meanwhile, Branwin’s bad-boy ex Aaron might also have something to say about this new marriage.

Kevin & Tiffany (Arlington,TX)

Kevin agrees to Tiffany’s wish to investigate a threesome, but Kevin’s playboy lifestyle is hard to ignore when Tiffany finds women’s underwear in his bedroom. Even as they struggle to find a lane for their love, Kayla, the woman who will not let Kevin go, stirs up the drama.

RETURNING TO “LIFE AFTER LOCKUP”

Shawn & Sara (Cincinnati, OH)

With Sara 5 months pregnant, the couple race to plan the wedding of their dreams. However, fresh out of prison, Destinie is looking to catch up with Shawn, and she has come prepared with a list– plus an amount for the money she believes Shawn owes her. If Destinie makes it to Ohio, how will she react when she learns Shawn is married to another former felon…with a baby?

Amber & Puppy (Douglasville, GA)

Puppy and fiancé Eric are back together after her jail stint and planning their wedding…but to everyone’s surprise, Eric is still legally married– and Puppy fears he’s still involved with his ex-wife. Amber catches baby fever after meeting a new man but is worried it may be too late for her.

Britney & Ray (Spring, TX)

Marriage could be on the horizon for the couple as Ray finally gets an engagement ring for Britney, but he must ask Britney’s parents for their blessing first. Unfortunately, Ray’s restitution looms large over their plans leaving Britany with questions and contemplating reaching out for a legal opinion. Will the couple make it down the aisle and ultimately start a family?

Marcelino & Brittany (Las Vegas, NV)

Brittany puts her prison past behind her and finds success as a realtor. Marcelino must take on even more of the childcare which causes a divide between the happy couple. Is the rift a repercussion of an adventurous night in the bedroom? Did their threesome with Brittany’s former cellmate, Amanda, light a fresh spark in their marriage or was the night of pleasure more trouble than it was worth?

Daonte & Lindsey (Newport News, VA/Corinth, MS)

We found out Daonte and Lindsey were dating on the special, “Love After Lockup: How to Date an Inmate.” Lindsey is released from prison without warning due to a Covid outbreak at her facility and Daonte goes to Mississippi the next day to finally meet his dream girl in person– though Daonte’s mom is not a fan of this new relationship. WE TV ANNOUNCES NEW SERIES SUPER SIZED SALON PREMIERING FRIDAY, JULY 29

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS…GO BIG
WE TV ANNOUNCES NEW SERIES SUPER SIZED SALON PREMIERING FRIDAY, JULY 29 AT 10:30PM ET/PT

As Growing Tensions Cause Blow-Outs Among Stylists, Can Babydoll Beauty Couture Salon Come Together To Make Women of All Sizes Feel and Look Beautiful?

New York, NY – June 16, 2022 – WE tv announced today a new series, Super Sized Salon, which follows the staff of the first beauty salon that caters to the plus size community, Babydoll Beauty Couture, as they are put to the test when challenges threaten the mission of the salon. Consisting of seven one hour-long episodes, Super Sized Salon premieres on Friday, July 29 at 10:30pm ET/PT on WE tv. The series will also stream on ALLBLK every Tuesday following its WE tv airing.

Babydoll Beauty Couture owner Jamie Lopez created this unique space after experiencing a tremendous amount of discrimination in the beauty industry for being plus-sized. Along with Jamie, the women who work here are determined to make everyone look and feel beautiful, no matter their size — but with their loud and diverse personalities, drama is always just around the corner! The new series follows salon receptionist Astra, aka “Funky Chunky”, is loved by everyone for her upbeat and uplifting personality that helps keep the group going when the times get tense. Holistic hair care specialist “A-Love” loves hard and brings laughter to any situation, but at times her “boughetto” temper gets the best of her. Fashion stylist “007” is one of Jamie’s closest (and most protective) friends, satisfying clients with the hottest plus size intimates and custom bling jobs. Celebrity hairstylist and makeup artist, Taj, is the responsible, level-headed “mama bear” of the bunch, serving as the second-in-command salon manager when Jamie is not around. Last but not least is make-up/lash artist and esthetician, BB, who has no problem calling it as she sees it!

With conflicting personalities and consistent workplace drama, will this crew be able to keep their cool as tensions heat up? Will they be able to get through it together and satisfy their ultimate mission of making all women feel beautiful?!

WE tv ANNOUNCES NEW SERIES “COMMIT OR QUIT WITH JUDGE LYNN TOLER”

WE tv ANNOUNCES NEW SERIES “COMMIT OR QUIT WITH JUDGE LYNN TOLER” PREMIERING THURSDAY, MAY 12

Black Love, Infidelity, Conflicting Expectations and So Much More…Will These Couples Commit or Will They Quit?

New York, NY – April XX, 2022 – Couples in crisis turn to the honorable Judge Lynn Toler for a life altering decision to get married or break up for good in the new WE tv series, “Commit or Quit with Judge Lynn Toler,” premiering Thursday, May 12 at 10pm on WE tv. In the eight, one-hour episodes, eight couples are under Judge Lynn Toler’s microscope. Secrets are exposed, core issues uncovered, and those closest to them give shocking testimony. When it’s all said and done, ultimately, it’s up to the Judge to have them…Commit or Quit! New episodes become available on popular AMC streaming service ALLBLK, every Monday following their premiere on WE tv.

Each couple’s home will be installed with surveillance cameras, so Judge Lynn Toler will be able to monitor their every interaction, including the disagreements and the makeups. Through a combination of life experiences, judicial wisdom, street smarts, cutting edge technology, and the sworn testimony of those closest to the couples, Judge Toler will carefully review each case (relationship) before revealing the ultimate verdict. For unhitched couples who “commit,” Judge Toler marries them on the spot and for those who “quit,” they break up for good. Married couples who “commit” will renew their vows, but for those who “quit,” Judge Toler will rule for divorce on the spot. She lets the couples know she is not here to play games but rather get to the bottom of each of their core issues and decide once and for all – Commit or Quit!

The couples who look for Judge Toler’s verdicts include:

London (37) and Andre (48) – Married 6 months
London and Andre met 7 years ago at a bar in Chicago. After a 5-year on-again, off-again love affair, the two lost touch and went years without speaking. Last year, feeling like he was getting older, Andre decided that it was time to settle down and believed London was the one. After surprising her in Las Vegas, Andre proposed, and in less than 2 weeks the two got married. Now, 6 months later, both are questioning if they made the right decision. The two can’t seem to get along long enough to fix their marriage, they’re easily annoyed with each other, and they fight over every little thing. London accuses Andre of deliberately doing/saying things to get under her skin while Andre doesn’t know how much more he can take of London’s hot-head personality. They need Judge Toler’s help NOW, before more damage is done.

Ayanna (46) and Brian (36) – Married 3 years
The couple met 4 years ago at a party. The two instantly hit it off and got married in a small ceremony. While they love each other very much, the two have had issues from the beginning, including: cultural differences, age gap, and lifestyle differences. They’ve also undergone fertility issues and aren’t sure if having a baby is in the picture for them. Ayanna and Brian desperately want to save their marriage, but they’re also willing to walk away for good if Judge Lynn feels like these unresolved feelings of resentment are too big to overcome.

Ashanti (25) and Christopher (37) – Dating Almost 2 Years
After snooping through each other’s phone’s, a year ago, they found messages/evidence of their partner communicating with the opposite sex. After taking a break and agreeing not to date anyone, Ashanti broke the agreement as payback. Now, buried under a mountain of mistrust on both parts, Ashanti and Chris are trying to rekindle the spark they once had, rebuild their relationship, and regain each other’s trust. They need Judge Toler’s help to decided if they truly have a future together, or if it’s time to let this relationship go for good.

Antoine (36) and Kieyesia (41) – 6 Years Dating
Antoine and Kieyesia met on social media when Antoine slid into her DMs 6 years ago and the two have been together ever since. Unfortunately, the relationship has been anything but smooth. Antoine’s ex-fiancé, and mother of his child, continues to bud into their relationship. On top of all of the baby mama drama, Antoine’s social media persona is a source of contention for Kieyesia and she doesn’t like that she is completely absent from his world. He thinks she isn’t on his level and after 6 years of dating, both are starting to wonder if their relationship has a future. Unable to pull the trigger themselves, they need Judge Toler to come in and decide as neither are willing to go another 6 years stuck in the same place.

“Commit or Quit with Judge Lynn Toler” is produced for WE tv by Thinkfactory Media, an ITV America company, and executive produced by Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Tim Cohen-Laurie, Vanessa Butler and Brad Hurtado. Executive Producers for WE tv are EVP of Development and Original Programming, Lauren P. Gellert, SVP of Original Programming and Development, David Stefanou and VP of Development, Angela Molloy.

Most Recent Spin-off Continues To Dominate on Friday Night As TV’s Most Viewed Series for Women 25-54 and Black Women 25-54

NEW YORK, NY- March 4, 2022— “Love During Lockup,” the latest spin-off of WE tv’s popular relationship franchise, outperformed the competition on Friday, February 25th as the #1 program for women 25-54 and Black women 25-54.

Part documentary, part real-life dating show, viewers continue to engage with the weekly drama that unfolds when those outside the prison walls choose to pursue romantic relationships with inmates, with the newest series drawing more than one million viewers for its February 25 season finale (according to Nielsen Live+3 data).

“Viewers have an endless fascination with how love unfolds for those behind bars which is why this franchise continues to deliver for WE tv,” noted Brett Dismuke, General Manager, WE tv & ALLBLK. “We couldn’t be more pleased to build on our position as the #1 destination on Friday nights for women 25-54 and believe that it’s our focus on the human side of these surprising relationships that continues to resonate with our passionate and loyal audience.”

The show that started it all, “Love After Lockup,” was Friday night’s #1 program in 2021 for women 25-54 and was #1 with Black women 25-54 for three years in a row on that same night. On Friday, March 4, at 9 p.m. EST/PST, WE tv will debut a new 10-episode season of the addictive original series with new episode available on popular AMC streaming service ALLBLK every Tuesday. Five new couples and a fan favorite couple from” Love During Lockup” take the drama to the next level with deeper love, bigger doubts, and even more mystery, as viewers once again debate if it’s true love or just another convincing con.

The second spin-off, “Life After Lockup,” premiered in June 2019. The insanely addictive series follows former inmates and their significant others from the hit series Love After Lockup, through their weird and wild journey to survive the real world together.

The most recent spinoff, “Love During Lockup,” premiered in January 2022, and followed the riveting early stages of love with plenty of romance, suspicion, and investigation, all long before a scheduled prison release. Every non-con has a unique strategy for finding love behind bars—whether they only seek drug offenders who are believed to be nonviolent, or a prison bae pushing a wrongful conviction. Other lonely civilians are simply on the hunt for their very own ‘hot felon,’ with the model mugshot to prove it.
