Season Three of DESTINATION FEAR premieres Saturday, July 24 on both Travel Channel and discovery+. New episodes will debut Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel and begin streaming the same day on discovery+.

Across this season’s eight one-hour episodes, the fear-chasing foursome will be driven to the edge of endurance. Exploring under the harshest conditions they’ve ever faced, and using sensory deprivation tactics to augment their paranormal experiment, this trip will test their mental, emotional and physical strength to the extreme. Venturing inside notoriously haunted locations such as Ohio State Reformatory, the Villisca Axe Murder House and Odd Fellows Home, the team confronts intense supernatural forces – and they quickly learn these entities do more than go bump in the night.

“We’ve been through a lot together but even after all of our dark encounters, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s out there,” said Dakota Laden. “I usually save the worst location for last, but this time I am throwing us head-first into one of the scariest places in the entire country. And I have a few surprises up my sleeve to fuel the terror even more.”

In the season premiere, Dakota takes the team to one of the most frightening and infamous places in America: Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. The death rate was so high at this former tuberculosis hospital that a “body chute” was created to hide the constant flow of deceased bodies from those who were living in the facility. Dakota, Chelsea, Tanner and Alex have dreamed of visiting this location for years, but they’ve always been too afraid to confront the sinister forces lurking within, until now. Facing a dark history of brutal deaths and paranormal violence, the team is taunted by several tortured souls still looming within the abandoned halls. Physical afflictions and ghostly apparitions put the group through the ultimate test of strength and endurance.

“No other season has challenged our limits of fear like this one,” said Chelsea Laden. “It’s really forced us to exceed those limitations and do the unthinkable.” Added Tanner Wiseman, “I think this is the most vulnerable we’ve ever been. Even our pit stops are challenging. It adds a whole new layer to our experience.”

“Everything is extreme, even the locations,” said Alex Schroeder. “And as much as we try to ready ourselves for each situation, nothing can really prepare us for what comes next.”

Dakota blindsides the team when he decides to amp up the fear at what once was the bloodiest prison in America – Missouri State Penitentiary. Chelsea can barely hold it together when the ghost of a child kidnapper won’t stop trying to communicate with her.

The team is left with less-than-warm feelings for Dakota when he hatches a chilling plan to communicate with the dead at an abandoned fort in Prospect, Maine. Things get even more heated when a ghostly caretaker threatens to throw them all out into the cold.

NEW YORK (Nov. 23, 2020) – John Tice, affectionally known as “Trapper,” was the founder and leader of the Appalachian Investigations of Mysterious Sightings team (AIMS) that gave rise to the cult-classic series “Mountain Monster.” Sadly, Trapper passed away in December 2019, after a prolonged illness. “Mountain Monsters: A Tribute to Trapper,” premiering on Sunday, January 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, pays tribute to Tice, with the AIMS team sharing their favorite memories and moments with him over the years as they investigated cryptids throughout the woods of Appalachia.

The surviving members meet up for the first time after Trapper’s passing to discuss the team’s future and embark on adventures during seven one-hour episodes and a two-hour season finale of Season Five of “Mountain Monsters,” premiering on Sunday, January 10 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The AIMS team reads a personal letter from Trapper and heads out on a brand new adventure that he set up for them before he passed. Equipped with his personal journal filled with everything he ever learned about the woods, the team travels to the mountains of the Tygart Valley on a mission to prove that there are still wolves in West Virginia. A bounty put on them, and the last wolf was said to have been killed in 1900. The team encounters local farmers who tell of a dangerous predator that has been killing their livestock. The team soon believes that not only are there wolves in the Tygart Valley, but there is something much more mysterious and deadly.

“After the tragic loss of Trapper, we recognized the importance of finding a way to celebrate his life with our AIMS-obsessed fans and then continue his mission,” says Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel. “What makes the new season so special is that the squad was eager to carry on Trapper’s legacy and head back to the forest, set on following his life’s work including intense hunts, thrilling twists and hillbilly hilarity.”

Throughout the season, the team learns from locals of massive K9 cryptids with glowing red eyes that inhabit the land and are known by locals as Smoke Wolves. As they dig deeper, they realize that Trapper in fact knew about these creatures back in the 1970s. The team spends time trying to figure out if this is what Trapper meant about the wolves of West Virginia. Then, to add to the monster fun, the team realizes there is a Bigfoot lurking, terrorizing the area as well.

By the end of the season, the team understands why Trapper sent them to the Tygart Valley. They come full circle as Trapper’s daughter is filled in on their incredible findings. And Huckleberry has a Bigfoot surprise for the ages in a twist ending no one sees coming.

The Osbournes enter the gates of hell as they go inside the Heritage Square Museum, a frightening and haunted historical site in the heart of Los Angeles. A “living museum,” Heritage Square is a collection of relocated Victorian-era houses taken from different spots around the city. It’s believed to be the most haunted hotspot in the area and has never been investigated for TV. Staff and guests have reported an uptick in paranormal activity, and they’re eager to understand what’s causing this ghostly phenomenon.

As Jack and Kelly go deep into the night to investigate the prolific spirit activity, Ozzy and Sharon monitor the action from basecamp. Multiple houses on the property each come with its own set of ghosts. The Perry House is rumored to be haunted by the original owner’s daughter, Mamie, who now roams the halls, spreading regret and despair. Inside the Hale House, Kelly makes a surprising connection to the spirit world, where it’s believed former occupant Bessie Hale is still tied to the house after a bitter divorce from her husband. Park staff regularly experience mysterious and unexplained activity, which they are sure is connected to the park’s ill-reputed events. Now, the “Ghost Adventures” crew – Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley – have been called to investigate, breaking new ground with the first-ever paranormal investigation inside the Oklahoma park. “This investigation was wild from beginning to end. This special has all the drama, characters and twists that you would expect in any Joe Exotic story. But just when you think you’ve seen and heard it all, there’s more.”

Something sinister lurks in the shadows of this park. In exclusive interviews, Jeff and Lauren Lowe, who purchased the zoo from Joe Exotic in 2016, reveal rumors and stories about the notorious grounds, including allegations of murder. Employees also believe the spirit of Travis Maldonado, who tragically and accidentally killed himself inside the park, still lingers and appears in the form of a dark mist. As Bagans and the crew speak with park staff – including Erik Cowie and Allen Glover, well-known characters from the documentary – they learn new details about the park’s story, and experience unexplained encounters that creep even these guys out: apparitions, shadow figures, voices and mysterious light phenomena.

It’s a beast of a case and the team calls in the big guns for assistance. Engineer Bill Chappell will conduct the biggest audio experiment he’s ever performed for an investigation, spanning the park’s entire perimeter. To investigate the alleged claims of buried bodies, they bring in a forensic team to search the property for evidence. The park is awash with activity from the get-go, and it’s inside Joe Exotic’s former cabin that they capture astonishing evidence that may prove Travis’ spirit is still around. But when the cadaver dogs get a possible hit for human remains and the investigation gets shut down by police, the real digging begins. As the dogs return a second time and the “Ghost Adventures” team captures three distinct EVPs in the areas of question, they’re convinced there is more to this story.

“We knew when we greenlit ‘The Holzer Files,’ we had something special on our hands, but we didn’t realize just how much of a paranormal pandora’s box we’d opened until we started filming,” said Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel. “Hans was a prolific chronicler of hundreds of ghost hunts, preserving everything from photographs, case notes, letters, film footage and chilling audio recordings from his interview subjects and trance mediums. The premiere episode, “Phantom Hand,” takes viewers back to 1963, when the Todd family of Cleveland encountered a ghastly hand reaching toward them from the basement door in their Mason Court apartment. Despite nailing the door shut, the appendage pushed through and terrified the family for weeks before they finally fled with their young son. Though the Todd family moved out, more people in the Kingsbury Run area of Cleveland continued to contact Dr. Holzer about similar disturbing activity, finally prompting him to bring his trusted psychic medium, Ethel Meyers, to conduct an outdoor reading of the entire area. Her findings were vivid and terrifying, but nothing matched up with the city’s known history, so the many paranormal cases of Kingsbury Run were never closed.

The team ventures to the Massachusetts coast to follow up on Hans Holzer’s 1964 investigation of the Bates Ship Chandlery. As they delve deep into the property’s past, they uncover a chilling undercurrent of darkness anchored in the rocky shores.

And they are joined by paranormal investigator Shari DeBenedetti to keep a close eye on the monitors, reviewing footage on the hunt for all things paranormal.

Revelers can celebrate Halloween night with the ultimate series crossover, joining forces with old friends Amy Bruni and Adam Berry from “Kindred Spirits.” The ghost hunting teams reunite for the first time in nearly a decade (they starred together on SYFY’s “Ghost Hunters”) to explore frightening activity inside an illustrious Newport, Rhode Island, mansion in “Ghost Nation: Reunion in Hell,” a special two-hour episode premiering Saturday, October 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

“We are ecstatic to get back to doing what we love, and we have some incredible cases to share,” said Hawes. “We were able to reconnect with our longtime friends Amy Bruni and Adam Berry. It seemed like time had stood still over the last 10 years as we rolled right into investigating and gathering some mind-blowing evidence and experiences.”

“Working with Amy and Adam was an absolute blast and the investigation was phenomenal. It was really interesting meshing our techniques together and it yielded some amazing results,” said Gonsalves.

“You’ll also be seeing some other familiar faces this season as well,” adds Tango. “I’m hoping the more people tune into ‘Ghost Nation,’ the more they will see how accessible we are. We’re here to help everyone, and thankfully, having so many investigators in our network makes it possible for us to do that.”

On all investigations, collecting evidence is just the beginning. With the help of their local contacts, the team embeds themselves in the community, conducting multi-day investigations in an effort to track down the true source of these hauntings and restore peace to the living. Under the United Paranormal Research Organization (UPRO) banner, it isn’t only Hawes, Gonsalves and Tango facing off against an unseen entity. Local paranormal groups, sometimes even the homeowners themselves, join the team as they employ new devices and techniques for confronting and questioning spirits. They’ll do whatever it takes to entice the ghost into telling its story and stop at nothing to get to the bottom of the paranormal phenomena.

In the premiere episode, “Evil Ink,” Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and Shari DeBenedetti investigate the paranormal events plaguing the Zone13 Tattoo and Body Piercing shop in New Jersey. They head to the town of Deptford to investigate the tattoo shop where disturbing apparitions, disembodied voices and even physical encounters are threatening the business. After their own investigation, it seems that whatever noises the team are hearing are following them as they move. With all these strange happenings and fresh evidence, the UPRO team will determine if the shop is actually haunted by one of the property’s former owners, a woman named Bertha.

Seaview Terrace is the 40,000-square-foot Rhode Island mansion famous for being featured on the TV show “Dark Shadows,” but the owners were shocked to find out that a recent visitor – a self-proclaimed warlock – had performed some sort of blasphemous ceremony in the house. Now, they’re experiencing a shift in the mansion’s energy, unleashing something more menacing. The team scours 100 years of history to discover a notorious patchwork past, filled with lavish high society parties and possibly a scandalous murder.

“Evil in the Attic” – Premieres Saturday, November 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and Shari DeBenedetti return to Glen Spey, New York, home of the historic – and historically haunted – Burn Brae Mansion. The property owners have called the team back to investigate the recent spike in paranormal activity, which they believe might be caused by a sealed-off room discovered in the attic. Now, UPRO is going to break down the wall and see what secrets lurk inside.

“Antique Shop of Horrors” – Premieres Saturday, November 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and Shari DeBenedetti head to Bozrah, Connecticut, toinvestigate a potential haunting plaguing the Primitive Crow antique shop. After expanding her store,owner Beth Coletti began experiencing a spike in paranormal activity. With customers frightened to return, and her lifelong dream hanging in the balance, the team searches for answers before Beth is forced to shut her doors for good.

“Stairway to Hell” – Premieres Saturday, November 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT

Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango and Shari DeBenedetti head to central New Jersey to investigate a haunting that hits close to home for Dave. Joined by his father, Bruce Tango, the team descends on the town of Matawan and the striking Colonial-era Burrowes Mansion. On a prior visit to the property, Bruce says he saw the apparition of a little girl, a life-altering sighting that seems to back up one of the many long-held claims of paranormal activity. NEW YORK (Sept. 17, 2020) – The first installment of Travel Channel’s new “Shock Docs” franchise, “Devil’s Road: The True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren,” which premiered on Monday, September 7, averaged 1.1 million P2+ viewers, making it the most watched debut in network history. In its time slot (9-11pm), “Devil’s Road” drove Travel Channel to rank as the #4 network with P25-54, #3 with W25-54, and #8 with P2+ across all of ad-supported cable. The two-hour documentary garnered a 0.71 P25-54 L3 rating, the network’s highest rated debut for a franchise or series ever. With a 0.96 W25-54 and 359K W25-54, the Shock Doc also ranked as Travel Channel’s highest-rated and most-watched debut in network history among W25-54. In total, the special reached nearly 2M P2+. And for the avid fans that are truly fascinated by the life story of the Warrens, a new director’s cut with bonus scenes of the documentary, including unearthed film and audio recordings will air on Saturday, October 3 at 9pm ET/PT.

In its first six days on Travel GO, “Devil’s Road: The True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren,” was watched for 3.3 million minutes; and was the best weekly performance for any Travel Go episode this year, and #2 Travel episode of all time, behind last year’s Halloween special, “Ghost Adventures: Harrisville Farm House.”
