TLC’S HIT SERIES “SMOTHERED” RETURNS WITH AN ALL NEW SEASON AND A NEW NIGHT, BEGINNING MONDAY, MAY 31 at 9PM ET/PT

(Los Angeles, CA) – Everyone’s favorite sMothered pairings are returning along with some brand new mother/daughter duos that will leave jaws on the floor. If you thought you’d seen it all last season, wait until you meet our new pairs who share underwear and exchange Brazilian waxes. These outrageous moments add to the shocking relationships that we couldn’t peel our eyes away from past seasons. While following the lives of these six devoted and extreme duos, viewers will have a front row seat to their unique rituals and unbreakable bonds. sMothered returns on a brand new night and premieres Monday, May 31 at 9PM ET/PT.

Meet the new and returning duos:

Amy & Carina (new) the Hawaii mother/daughter pair are truly inseparable – panty swapping, joint showers, sleeping in the same bed… you name it! They believe they are connected on a spiritual level and knew each other in a past life. Neighbors describe their house as a circus with their 11 animals including two great danes and eight ducks. Even though they love their lifestyle, Amy is starting to realize that she and her daughter may share an unhealthy attachment that prevents them both from having functional romantic relationships. She grapples with the guilt but will she be able to bring herself to break away from it?

Karla & Rykia (new) are Alabama mother and daughter besties whose “closeness” includes exchanging Brazilian waxes! They share everything together and are always on the same page. Karla loves to meddle in all her kids’ lives and while Rykia seems to love it, her brother Rasheed feels the complete opposite. He is so turned off by their need to over share inappropriate information that he has put off introducing his girlfriend of 9 months. As new developments happen in Karla’s life and her childrens, she tries to hold on to her bestie and keep everything the same.

Lisa & Lauren (new) are two southern belles who act more like sisters than mother and daughter. There’s no such thing as boundaries with these two. They facetime while they take baths, wax each other’s mustaches and Lauren constantly sleeps over at her mother’s house, despite the fact that it causes friction with her wife, Laura Leigh. Lauren and her wife have been trying to conceive a child for two years and are taking a break to save some money. At least that’s what her wife thinks! Lisa and Lauren have other plans to make sure Lauren is able to have the family of her dreams.

Sunhe & Angelica (returning) share a vault-like tightness that somehow Angelica’s fiancé Jason has been able to crack…sort of. When Angelica and Jason announce their engagement and pregnancy to their families, things go downhill fast. Not only do Angelica and Jason have Sunhe’s options to consider, but now Jason’s mom is in the picture and she isn’t going back home anytime soon! What is supposed to be the happiest time for a couple leaves Angelica wondering if she wants to marry Jason at all.

Kathy & Cristina (returning) the loud Italian duo from Chicago are living apart again after Carlo quit his job at his family’s pizzeria and cancelled Cristina’s plan for a home renovation. Once the pandemic hit, Carlo decided he wanted to open his own pizzeria, and Cristina became a business owner overnight. With the stress of the new business, Cristina pulls away from Kathy, who is desperately clinging to their old traditions. But Kathy won’t give up, and finds ways to insert herself back into her daughter’s life, whether Carlo wants her there or not!

Dawn & Cher (returning) the two dynamic brunettes known for their coordinating outfits and loud personalities are reunited in Florida after spending months apart due to the pandemic. Not wanting to be without Cher and her granddaughter Belle for that long ever again, Dawn hatches a plan to convince Jared to let Cher and Belle stay in Florida with her. Dawn is never one to be scared by boundaries, but has she gone too far this time?

90 Day Fiance Tell All Pt. 2 Tops All of Television in W25-54 Delivery; Popular Series Beats American Idol and American Country Music Awards

Impressive L3 ratings on Sunday, April 18, by such series as 90 Day Fiance’ Tell All Pt. 2 on TLC (1.98 P25-54; 2.78 W25-54), Tournament of Champions on Food Network (1.32 P25-54; 1.56 W25-54) and Home Town on HGTV (0.96 P25-54; 1.19 W25-54) reinforce that the Discovery Lifestyle networks offer the best way to reach millions of viewers, especially women, in Sunday prime. HGTV, Food Network and TLC alone pulled in more than 16.7 million total viewers and, in line with their strong overall performances, helped Discovery, Inc. deliver 32% of women watching cable that Sunday.

“The big story here is that our lifestyle nets will continue to attract viewers, in particular women, on Sundays because we know what they want to watch,” said Kathleen Finch, Chief Lifestyle Brands Officer, Discovery, Inc. “Viewers come to us for comfort, entertainment, inspiration and sometimes, a dose of adrenalin. We give them the content that they care about — no matter when or where they want it.”

TLC’s 90 Day Fiance Tell All Pt. 2 from 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. ranked as the #1 program in all of television among W25-54, W18-49 and W18-34 — beating American Idol on ABC and American Country Music Awards on CBS. The entire Tournament of Champions season averaged a 0.95 rating among P25-54 — a 4% ratings increase from season one.

Airing from 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. on HGTV, an episode of Home Town, featuring Ben & Erin Napier as they renovated a 1940s cottage in Laurel, Mississippi, ranked in the Top 5 on cable in its time period on Sunday, April 18, among W25-54 (#4), Upscale P25-54 (#3), and Upscale W25-54 (#3). The episode also posted a 71% increase in ratings among P25-54 and 59% increase in impressions with the demo from year-ago levels.

“Our unduplicated monthly reach of 173 million consumers in the U.S. makes the Discovery, Inc. networks an unprecedented value for advertisers who want reach and engagement with coveted audiences,” said Jon Steinlauf, Chief US Advertising Sales Officer, Discovery, Inc. “The high number of viewers from just three of our nets — on one Sunday night — is a big reminder that now, more than ever, advertisers need the Discovery lifestyle brands in their buying plans.”

TLC CELEBRATES FAMILY WITH THE RETURN OF THREE BELOVED SERIES THIS SPRING

— Returning Series Include DOUBLING DOWN WITH THE DERRICOS, LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD and 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS —

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – This spring, TLC welcomes back three fan-favorite families as they experience the joys and challenges of raising children. DOUBLING DOWN WITH THE DERRICOS is back with all of the heart that fans fell in love with as the Derricos navigate health scares, a potential pregnancy and one Derrico who’s ready to start dating. LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD returns with wedding planning for Amy, farm ownership decisions for Matt and new milestones for Zach and Tori’s babies. And it’s a season of independence for the whole family on 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS as the kids look to strike out on their own.

LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD – Premieres on TLC on Tuesday, May 11 at 9pm ET/PT

Like the rest of America, the Roloffs are still hunkered down in the midst of the pandemic. As Matt reimagines how to run the family business, Zach contemplates co-owning and running the farm with his dad. Is he ready to handle all that would come with living and working with his father? Meanwhile, after packing up thirty years of memories and moving out of the farmhouse for good, Amy and her fiancé Chris start planning their upcoming wedding. But what happens when they realize they don’t share the same vision for their big day? And Zach and Tori see firsthand the little victories and big challenges that go along with raising two children. Join the conversation using #LPBW. LITTLE PEOPLE, BIG WORLD is produced for TLC by Bright Spot Content, an All3Media America company, in association with Gay Rosenthal Productions.

7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS – Returns on TLC on Tuesday, May 25 at 8pm ET/PT

When the pandemic started, it brought all the Johnstons back together under one roof, but now the older children are anxious to break out on their own. Viewers last saw Trent and Amber delivering an ultimatum to Jonah: he needed to find his own place within three months. Now, fresh off of celebrating his 21st birthday, Jonah is juggling the hunt for a new place to live, a job search and a long-distance relationship. Meanwhile, rising tensions between Anna and Amber have resulted in Anna looking to move out as well. Neither of them is sure how to navigate their strained relationship, and it’s affecting the other Johnstons: it’s one of the primary reasons Elizabeth is also ready to find her own place. With so many changes on the horizon for the family, each Johnston is faced with the realities of growing up. All the while, Trent and Amber fight to keep their family as tight-knit as they’ve always been – even if they don’t all live in the same house. Join the conversation using #7LittleJohnstons. 7 LITTLE JOHNSTONS is produced for TLC by Figure 8 Films.

DOUBLING DOWN WITH THE DERRICOS – Premieres on TLC on Tuesday, June 1 at 10pm ET/PT

There is never a dull moment for this bunch comprised of 14 children, including four sets of naturally conceived multiples and singletons. In these new episodes, the larger-than-life Derricos face unforeseen challenges that catapult them into the most challenging year of their lives. Shaken to their core, Karen and Deon receive unsettling news that three-year-old Diez will potentially require surgery on his skull. Meanwhile, singleton Darian continues her quest for independence, but Deon is as protective as ever, especially when she announces she wants to begin dating. Adding to Deon’s protectiveness, Karen considers that he might have OCD, and when she announces she thinks she might be pregnant, GG has an emotional conversation with the both of them. The Derricos always have a way of finding balance with life’s highs and lows and, this season they take a trip to the mountains, where the kids get to see snow for the first time and, for Halloween, they celebrate with a fun, 70s-themed dance party. This season continues to highlight how much heart and soul this family has, as Karen and Deon work through an incredibly tumultuous time with grace, love and humor. From eating the same foods, to sleeping in the same bed and even sharing a boyfriend, some of these sister fascinations are sure to make you think twice about how close sisters can really be.

IT’S ALL ABOUT SISTERLY LOVE IN TLC’S NEW SERIES “EXTREME SISTERS,” PREMIERING SUNDAY, APRIL 25 at 10PM ET/PT

(Los Angeles, CA) – Sisterly love takes on a whole new meaning in TLC’s upcoming series, EXTREME SISTERS, following the most obsessive and inseparable sibling relationships. Some sister bonds are closer than others, but these siblings take their obsession to the extreme. From eating the same foods, to sleeping in the same bed and even sharing a boyfriend, some of these sister fascinations are sure to make you think twice about how close sisters can really be. EXTREME SISTERS premieres Sunday, April 25 at 10PM ET/PT.

“Having a close knit family is something most people aspire to and at TLC, we love to explore relationships of all kinds,” said Howard Lee, President of TLC Streaming and Network Originals. “In Extreme Sisters, we will introduce sets of inseparable sisters whose bonds are raw, honest and perhaps a little unconventional. Their sibling kinship brings the meaning of sisterhood to a whole other level!”

Despite what others may think about their uncanny relationships, these EXTREME SISTERS are unapologetic in their dedication to one another. However, when the opinions of society, family, romantic partners, and some major life changes come into the play, it remains to be seen if these sisters will be able to defend and maintain their exceptional bond. What are these sisters willing to lose to keep their obsession with each other intact? In this brand new series, viewers will get a glimpse into some of the most unique sister lifestyles revealing how they navigate each of their rare relationships throughout life.

Meet the sisters:

Anna and Lucy “One in the Same” eat the same foods, go to the bathroom together and shower together. They are literally never apart. The sisters have begun thinking about their future as mothers and have decided that when they do get pregnant, they want to be pregnant with Ben’s baby at the exact same time. Yes, Ben is Anna and Lucy’s shared boyfriend, and potential shared father of their future children.

Brooke and Baylee “The Candaces” are so close that they shared the same bed growing up and continue to do so even though Brooke is married, and her husband is uncomfortable with Baylee sleeping with them. They shower together, pop each other’s pimples and also share the same name – Candace. Technically, the two are named Candace-Brooke and Candace Baylee, and Brooke has even passed down the tradition to her daughter, Candace-Ace.

Brittany and Briana “New Sister Moms” always dreamed about marrying and getting pregnant at the same time as one another they have what is called a quaternary marriage which is very rare. The sistershave successfully achieved this goal, with just a few months difference in their pregnancies. The identical twins now venture into motherhood together, sharing a house with their twin husbands and consider themselves both moms and dads to their baby and future baby.

Christina and Jessica “Psychic Sisters” have led parallel lives through every major life event. They married, were pregnant, and went through divorces together. Their obsessive closeness is the reason for both of their divorces and because they believe they are each other’s soul mate. Today, they live .2 miles away from one another, raising their children together as single mothers. They are inseparable and feel physically sick when they are apart. The sisters even have a code word for each other that signals to the other that no matter what they’re doing at that time, they must drop it and rush to one another’s sides.

Patrix and Patrica “Right Hand Sister” live their lives intwined from the moment they were born. Patrix has an apartment but rarely uses it and spends a majority of her time living at Patrica’s house. Patrica was born with a third of her fingers missing on her right hand, so Patrix has always been by her sister’s side in the face of bullies and to step in to help Patrica with tasks that aren’t easy to do without two properly formed hands, such as cutting nails, shaving and applying makeup. Patrix truly is Patrica’s right hand sister.

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – New marriages, frosty separations and more are in store for the brand-new season of 90 DAY FIANCE: HAPPILY EVER AFTER? Premiering on Sunday, April 25th at 8PM ET/PT on TLC and available for streaming discovery+, HAPPILY EVER AFTER? catches up with unforgettable couples from previous seasons of the 90 Day universe. TLC will follow these couples where they last left off as they move forward in the next chapter of their relationships. After following these couples’ victories, trials and tribulations, viewers will see the many painful realities and unexpected obstacles ahead as they continue to navigate cultural differences, in-laws, transgressions and more. Viewers can catch a sneak peek of the new season in this Sunday’s episode of 90 DAY BARES ALL, streaming on discovery+.

Season six will catch up with the following couples and three more, to be announced soon:

Angela, 54 (Hazlehurst, Ga.) and Michael, 32 (Nigeria)

Angela and Michael were eager to continue their life together after they finally tied the knot in Nigeria. Unfortunately, their wedding bliss was followed by sad news concerning Angela’s mother’s health. Angela quickly rushed back home and shortly after her mother passed, Angela found herself alone to deal with the grief and stress of the pandemic without Michael. Driven to live a healthier life for her grandchildren and husband, Angela decides to undergo weight loss surgery despite Michael’s strong disapproval. Although Angela’s health is her priority, Michael’s desire to have children is at the forefront of his mind.

Kalani, 32 (Washington, Utah) and Asuelu, 25 (Samoa)

Married life has had its fair share of rough patches for Kalani and Asuelu. With Kalani’s feelings of doubt caused by a long history of family conflict, the couple is working through some tough challenges. They are hoping for a fresh start and begin looking for a house. Asuelu thinks that living on their own, away from Kalani’s family, will help their relationship, and Kalani is willing to give it one last try. Meanwhile, Kalani’s sister Kolini comes to stay with them for a few weeks and questions their decision to buy a house, knowing how rocky their marriage has been over the years. Kalani opens up to Kolini about her and Asuelu’s intimacy issues and that she feels that they are more like roommates than husband and wife.

Elizabeth, 30 (Tampa, Fla.) and Andrei, 34 (Moldova)

Three years into married life, Elizabeth, Andrei and their daughter Eleanor continue to move forward as a family. Much to Elizabeth’s relief, Andrei is finally ready to give up being a stay-at-home dad and start working. But to get started, Andrei will need help from Elizabeth’s father Chuck and Elizabeth’s siblings have strong opinions about him getting into business with their dad, in any capacity. Later on, the whole family travels to Maryland for a family reunion and Chuck hopes it will bring everyone together, but the drama ensues.

Tiffany, 29 (Frederick, Md.) and Ronald, 31 (South Africa)

The last few months have taken a toll on single mom Tiffany, and she feels like her husband Ronald, who is still living in South Africa, hasn’t stepped up enough emotionally or financially. Tiffany stresses to Ronald that she is tired of carrying the financial burden in their relationship and that if Ronald wants to see his family he needs to start contributing. Ronald is furious that Tiffany would behave this way and thinks that she is spending money on herself instead of for their relationship. Adding to those challenges, Ronald worries that his Visa will be denied, in which case he would want the family to move to South Africa. Tiffany is not on board with this plan and does not know what will happen if his visa is not approved.

HAPPILY EVER AFTER? will premiere following the season eight finale of the show that started it all, 90 DAY FIANCÉ, which is currently averaging a 1.9 P25-54 rating, 2.7 W25-54 rating, and 3.0M P2+ viewers. “SEEKING SISTER WIFE” RETURNS FOR A NEW SEASON

MONDAY, MARCH 22 @8PM ET/PT on TLC and discovery+

Explore the lives of five polygamist families, all in various stages of trying to add a sister wife to the nest. With two returning families and three brand new couples looking for love, SEEKING SISTER WIFE returns, noisier than ever. From a 90 Day twist featuring a Brazilian bombshell and a divorce, to an explosive live-in battle of the hearts, all in the midst of a quarantine, this season is offering a wildly unfiltered and compelling look into these families’ ups and downs as they date in this arguably unconventional world.

THE SNOWDENS (returning): After a heartbreaking split from their sister wife Vanessa, Dimitri and Ashley Snowden are still in LA and back in the dating game with not one, but two girlfriends! Christeline, a single mother who lives in South Africa, and Tayler, a spunky henna artist from Atlanta, Georgia. Will this new plural dynamic be the Snowdens’ dream come true – or a nightmare?

THE WINDERS (returning): The Winders are a Mormon Fundamentalist plural family in Southern Utah. Colton and his first wife, Tami, have one daughter. Now, Sophie, his second wife, is expecting their first child: a baby boy! They recently all moved in together, and they have a potential sister wife on the hook named Kimberley! While the girls are excited, Colton seems to be the one on the fence about adding to their plural family.

THE MERRIFIELDS (new): Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield live in Colorado, have been happily married for 13 years and now they are getting divorced, for polygamy! Garrick believes God led them to a plural lifestyle, and once Dannielle agreed, it wasn’t long before they met their dream sister wife, a Brazilian bombshell named Roberta, who speaks only Portuguese. The Merrifields love her so much that they are divorcing so Garrick can legally marry Roberta and get her a visa to come and live with them in Colorado. When they reunite in Mexico, Dannielle begins to question their future together.

THE CLARKS (new): Jarod Clark and his two queens, Vanessa and Kaleh, live in North Carolina. While Jarod and Vanessa are moving into a new house, their sister wife Kaleh has not been feeling like a valuable member of the family. The Clarks are trying to mend their plural relationship before adding more sister wives to it, but when they confront Kaleh about the tension between them, she doesn’t have the reaction they hoped for.

THE JONES’ (new): Sidian and Tosha Jones live in Idaho, where Tosha was once Sidian’s second wife, until the first wife left them. After taking time to heal, Tosha and Sidian are now seeking a sister wife again but find out it’s not as easy as they thought it would be to find their perfect match.

FOUR OF TLC’S FAN FAVORITE SERIES SET TO RETURN WITH BRAND NEW SEASONS IN FEBRUARY AND MARCH

— Series Include SISTER WIVES, OUTDAUGHTERED, SEEKING SISTER WIFE and RETURN TO AMISH —

(Los Angeles, Calif.) – Viewers can catch up with some of their favorite TLC families when four series premiere new episodes next month. February kicks off with the return of two beloved TLC families, first the Browns of SISTER WIVES, who are adjusting to their new life in Flagstaff living in separate homes, and later the Busbys of OUTDAUGHTERED, who are preparing for the quintuplets to start kindergarten. Then, the highly anticipated return of SEEKING SISTER WIFE promises drama, twists and divorces as two families return and three new couples begin their search for a sister wife. March brings a new season of RETURN TO AMISH, where painful pasts and hopeful futures collide for the group of Amish (and formerly Amish) as they navigate life on the outside. More information on each series below:

SISTER WIVES – Premieres on TLC on Sunday, February 14 at 10pm ET/PT

Last season, Kody Brown, his four wives – Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn – and their families relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona where they hoped to start an exciting new chapter of their lives. Little did they know that settling down in temporary homes before breaking ground on the land they purchased would be harder than they thought. This season, we see the Browns continuing to work through their new lifestyle of living apart from one another and the stressful decisions they must make about their future home. Like the rest of the world, COVID-19 puts an extra strain on the family and the Browns’ big gatherings and large parties that brought the family together are now a thing of the past. Join the conversation on social media by using #SisterWives. SISTER WIVES is produced for TLC by Puddle Monkey Productions in association with Figure 8 Films.

OUTDAUGHTERED – Premieres on TLC on Tuesday, February 23 at 8pm ET/PT

Viewers pick up with the Busby family and America’s first all-female quintuplets months after the family, and the country, went into quarantine. Now, the family is emerging with five-year-old Ava, Olivia, Parker, Hazel and Riley and their nine-year-old big sister Blayke to a new normal with plenty of new experiences in store, including a crash course in riding bikes, taking an RV trip to the wilderness and the quints starting kindergarten. There will also be celebrations galore, whether it’s a homemade, backyard haunted maze for Halloween or a socially distant visit with Santa. The Busbys always find ways to make things special for their girls, no matter the circumstances; however, an unknown and painful health issue that’s been haunting Super Mom Danielle for years has become unbearable, and her search for answers could lead her down a scary path. Join the conversation using #OutDaughtered. OUTDAUGHTERED is produced for TLC by Bright Spot Content and All3Media America in association with The Boardwalk Entertainment Group.

SEEKING SISTER WIFE – Premieres on TLC on Sunday, February 28 at 9pm ET/PT

Explore the lives of five polygamist families, all in various stages of trying to add a sister wife to the nest. With two returning families and three brand new couples looking for love, Seeking Sister Wife returns, noisier than ever. From a 90 Day twist featuring a Brazilian bombshell and a divorce, to an explosive live-in battle of the hearts, all in the midst of a quarantine, this season is offering a wildly unfiltered and compelling look into these families’ ups and downs as they date in this arguably unconventional world. RETURN TO AMISH – Premieres on TLC on Monday, March 22 at 9pm ET/PT

RETURN TO AMISH tells the stories of the ex-Amish as they try to establish lives outside of the insular world in which they grew up. Jeremiah and his wife Carmella are back, with Jeremiah on the hunt for his biological family, but false leads and tragedy threaten to derail his search. Sabrina returns as well, and this time she’s juggling a fourth pregnancy and her relationship with the father, Jethro, and also celebrating a year of sobriety. Viewers will be introduced to Rosanna and Maureen as they leave their tight-knit Amish communities for the first time, traveling to join Jeremiah, Carmella and Sabrina to experience many “firsts” in the non-Amish world. Rosanna’s sheltered life hasn’t prepared her to deal with the stress of the English, or non-Amish, world, but she’s determined to soak up her new surroundings. Maureen is similarly excited to experience the English world, and a budding relationship has the potential to help her acclimate even faster. Join the conversation on social media by using the hashtag #ReturnToAmish. RETURN TO AMISH is produced for TLC by Hot Snakes Media.
