Seeing it all as it really happens allows the public to reach their own conclusions and form their own ideas and opinions.”

Added Chuck Archie, a member of South Carolina’s Richland County Citizens’ Advisory Council, an all-volunteer community group established to increase professional competence and public accountability at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, “Transparency is an absolute requirement when it comes to policing. We are a diverse group in every way – race, socioeconomics, politics and so much more – which is why giving local law enforcement the community perspective on issues is so important, and conversely, why it’s so important for the community to be able to see what officers are doing. We see a live show like this as having a positive effect on our process.”

Numerous offers for the series were made by multiple broadcasters, streamers and digital platforms; Half Moon Pictures ultimately closed a licensing deal with REELZ, which committed to a significant episode guarantee. June 2022 premieres kick off on Sunday, June 5 with back-to-back stories about the legendary rock band Van Halen and the everlasting legacy of its namesake Eddie Van Halen. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “Eddie Van Halen” at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT is an intimate portrait of the guitar prodigy hailed as one of the greatest of all time. With his scorching guitar skills and unique style he rewrote the rulebook for riffs and with his signature electrifying showmanship he was the driving force behind Van Halen. Away from the spotlight Eddie was at war with himself for decades battling substance abuse. By embracing all of the excess that came with his hard won success did Eddie set into motion what would ultimately take his life? The success of the band Van Halen was stratospheric with more than 80 million records sold and more than $324 million in ticket sales on their way to change the face of rock music over a career spanning four decades. In Van Halen: Story of Their Songs on Sunday, June 5 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT see the stories of six pivotal songs that were key turning points in the bands’ long and eventful career from break out hit “Runnin’ with the Devil” and changing musical direction with “Jump” to reinventing their sound in “Why Can’t This Be Love?” and mainstream smashes “When It’s Love” and “Can’t Stop Loving You” along with the experimental and touching “Without You”.

In the 1997 movie Boogie Nights Alfred Molina plays a looney nightclub owner with a bad cocaine habit in a character that was loosely based on Hollywood hotshot Eddie Nash. For decades Nash eluded authorities as the cocaine addicted king of nightclubs in Hollywood who ran drugs through his many properties in the 1970s and 1980s. Nash also had a terrifyingly violent side. In Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Eddie Nash ‘King of Wonderland'” on Tuesday, June 7 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT presents the story of the man who was atop the Hollywood drug scene and the brutality he used to enforce his reign. The hedonistic and lawless club scenes of the late 1980s along the Sunset Strip were a part of Nash’s legacy and served as the perfect backdrop for the debut of the uncompromising and controversial Guns N’ Roses with their forceful hit “Welcome to the Jungle” with lyrics and music video depicting the rougher side of life in LA. In Guns N’ Roses: Story of Their Songs on Sunday, June 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT see the stories behind six of their songs that transformed rock music including “Welcome to the Jungle”, the anthemic “Paradise City”, epic tender ballads “Don’t Cry” and “Patience”, the nine-minute masterpiece “November Rain” and the song that made them global superstars in “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

The hit television series Miami Vice made its debut in the fall of 1984 as a stylish crime drama that combined the lush music and scenery of Miami with the dark and deadly reality of its crime. In 1981 there were 621 murders in Miami and hitman Jorge Rivi Ayala and other infamous “cocaine cowboys” contributed to that grim total. In Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Jorge ‘Rivi’ Ayala” on Tuesday, June 14 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT see the story of the vicious cartel hitman who became the top assassin for the brutal Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco as she infiltrated the Miami drug scene. Sunday, June 19 sees a primetime lineup of three back-to-back rock and roll stories about the rise and fall of Foreigner and Scorpions along with the stories of three songs that defined Alice Cooper. By 1978 Foreigner was the quickly becoming the biggest rock band in the world. They were jukebox heroes providing a hard rocking soundtrack to their generation and their 1983 chart topping hit “I Want to Know What Love Is” rockets the band to superstardom but was a new style for them. The battle lines are drawn over the musical direction of the band and the creative clashes between founder Mick Jones and vocalist Lou Gramm become massive divides. In Foreigner: Breaking the Band on Sunday, June 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT Gramm gives his first-hand account of the whopping success of their debut album and the uneasy truces with Jones to keep the music playing. While creative differences weren’t a crux for the Scorpions their Achilles heel was a high-octane lifestyle that matched their blistering sound. In Scorpions: Breaking the Band on Sunday, June 19 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT four original members Rudolf Schenker, Herman Rarebell, Matthias Jabs and Klaus Meine give an unfiltered look at the band’s five decade history that led to more than 100 million albums sold worldwide from the rush of breaking big in America to facing down the perilous unknown of lead singer Meine losing his voice and requiring high-risk surgery. The final performer of the Sunday, June 19 trifecta of rock music stories is Alice Cooper: Story of The Songs at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT spotlighting the stories behind the iconic and rebellious 1972 hit “School’s Out”, the groundbreaking change of direction Cooper channeled for the “Welcome to My Nightmare” single and album and the career redefining megahit love song with a twist in “Poison”. With one of the most enduring and talked about careers in rock history Cooper shocked fans with his revolutionary and controversial stage shows but what was the inspiration behind three of the songs that cemented his legacy?

In 1992 Edward James Olmos starred as a Mexican American Mafia kingpin in the movie American Me a fictional account of the Mexican Mafia inside the California prison system. That same year 15-year-old Oscar Cabrera was just another kid growing up in tough rural farming town of Watsonville California. As a smart, charismatic natural born leader Cabrera sought more from life than working fields and within a few years in his early twenties he’d become the local shot caller for Nuestra Familia, the real-life violent criminal organization that grew from within the California prison system. Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “‘Baby Joker’ Oscar Cabrera” on Tuesday, June 21 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT presents Cabrera’s story within the history of Nuestra Familia and the shocking and violent end to his ties with the organization. Where his ambition and charisma led Cabrera to a life of crime those same traits led Vince Neil to redefine what it meant to be a rockstar. In Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil: My Story* (*working title) on Sunday, June 26 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT the Mötley Crüe frontman gives a revealing account of his journey to global stardom with never before told stories including his 45-year friendship with drummer Tommy Lee, overcoming addictions, going solo and his roller coaster ride with Mötley Crüe that led to more than 100 million albums sold. When Neil was fired from Mötley Crüe in 1992 it was rumored that Skid Row lead singer Sebastian Bach was asked to replace him but that never happened. Still, Bach had long fit the wild prototype of a rock star. An 18-year-old Bach was a formidable young talent plagued by a combination of attitude, swagger and a short fuse. After being scouted singing at a wedding Bach was made lead singer of hard rock band Skid Row. In Skid Row: Breaking the Band on Sunday, June 26 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT original members and co-founders Rachel Bolan and Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo along with Bach and manager Doc McGhee give a first-hand account of how Skid Row burst onto the scene in the late 1980s setting the charts ablaze and bringing MTV metal to the masses. They also give their own take on the volatile and unpredictable Bach who in his own words recounts the wildest moments in the band’s turbulent ride and what became the final straw that broke the back of Skid Row.

Jail is produced by Langley Productions.

Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “Eddie Van Halen” premieres on Sunday, June 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. On October 6, 2020 the world was shocked by the news that guitar legend Eddie Van Halen had died. A rock prodigy with a boyish charm he was never more comfortable than when he had a guitar in his hand. Known as the founder of Van Halen, the band that became synonymous with California cool, Eddie was actually of both Dutch and Indonesian heritage. His family moved to California from the Netherlands when Eddie was a child. Eddie came to America without knowing English but by the time he was 25 years old his band had sold multiple platinum albums and his innovative guitar techniques cemented him in rock and roll history. But behind his contagious smile there was a darker undercurrent that would plague Eddie throughout his life. As an extremely shy kid Eddie started drinking alcohol at just 12 years old to calm his nerves after seeing his father drink to calm himself and for the next four decades Eddie wrestled with addiction issues. Often relying on alcohol and other substances to maintain his creativity Eddie would spend many years in and out of rehab. He was a workaholic often pushing his body to the limits in order to perform while secretly battling illness. Eddie died at the age of 65 from cancer but if caught early Eddie’s disease had reasonable survival rates so what exactly happened? Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter will analyze every detail of his life in order to piece together what else may have been going on in his body, ultimately leading to his untimely death. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Van Halen: Story of Their Songs premieres on Sunday, June 5 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. They were the band that changed the face of heavy rock and created a formula for a four decade run as a legendary band. From their early days playing parties in Pasadena to becoming the biggest rock act in America Story of Songs explores six key songs that helped make them rock music titans. After announcing their arrival onto the music scene with the bold and timeless “Runnin’ with the Devil” they hit a commercial peak with synth heavy chart topper “Jump” before reinventing themselves not once but twice as singer David Lee Roth was replaced by Sammy Hagar who then made way for Gary Cherone. Despite the lineup changes they still produced hit music including “Why Can’t This Be Love?” and mainstream smashes “When It’s Love” and “Can’t Stop Loving You” along with the experimental “Without You”. Elliot Gilbert who created the cover art for the band’s debut album recalls the photo session that left him deaf for a week. “Jump” music video producer Robert Lombard reveals the dilemma that eventually got him fired and Dweezil Zappa, son of music legend Frank Zappa, remembers the time when Eddie revealed some of his guitar playing secrets. Nuno Bettencourt quizzes his band mate Gary Cherone about the former Extreme singer’s stint as Van Halen’s front man while cinematographer Daniel Court explains the real reason for the band’s famed “no brown M & Ms” rider request. Story of Their Songs is produced by ViacomCBS International Studios UK.

Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Eddie Nash ‘King of Wonderland'” premieres on Tuesday, June 7 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. In 1970s and 1980s Hollywood Eddie Nash was a nightclub impresario with properties across Southern California using the profits from drug trafficking to build a massive fortune. Nash owned dozens of restaurants and clubs which became the locations where he moved large quantities of marijuana, cocaine and heroin. Nash wasn’t just the supplier he was also a drug addict whose lust for high stakes action led him to extreme violence to ensure his empire wouldn’t fall. Nash built relationships with Hollywood and mafia types to fill his nightclubs with the glitz, glam and street muscle of the era. But his reckless drug addictions made him vulnerable and it wasn’t long before others took notice. After being robbed of nearly a million dollars worth of jewelry, cash and drugs Nash took it personally and sent a message to the streets. The Wonderland Murders in 1981 were allegedly masterminded by Nash and carried out on the people who allegedly robbed him. Helping to tell the story of Nash is Josh Meyer, USA Today Domestic Security Correspondent and Paul Corradini, Department of Justice Special Attorney in Organized Crime.

Guns N’ Roses: Story of Their Songs premieres on Sunday, June 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. With more than 80 million albums sold worldwide and more than $700 million in concert ticket sales Guns N’ Roses lit up the world of rock music with an unflinching run of hit songs enroute to becoming one of the most popular bands in rock history. These are the inside stories of six hits that sent them soaring from their breakthrough single “Welcome To The Jungle” with its controversial music video that initially proved too edgy for MTV to the global smash “Sweet Child O’ Mine” that gave them their first and only Billboard number one. Those close to the band including publicist Arlett Vereecke and friend and photographer Marc Canter share their memories of the Guns N’ Roses journey from obscurity on the Sunset Strip to becoming the hottest rock band on the planet in the late 1980s. Founding Guns N’ Roses band member Tracii Guns reveals how the band got its name and the story behind why he left the group after only a few weeks. Members of the band’s production team including mixers Steve Thompson and Michael Barbiero recall recording the iconic tracks while music video director Nigel Dick reveals what went on behind the scenes during the filming some of their most famous videos including wild shoot for “Paradise City” to the intimate “Patience”. Along their journey Guns N’ Roses survived fallouts, concert riots and drug addictions to release some of their greatest songs in the early 1990s including “Don’t Cry” and the epic nine-minute ballad “November Rain”. Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Jorge ‘Rivi’ Ayala” premieres on Tuesday, June 14 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. The party scenes of the 1970s and 1980s are fondly remembered for big hair, wild fashion and epic music. Another popular staple of the time that kept the parties rolling was cocaine. With its sunny beaches by day and disco dancing at night Miami quickly became the epicenter of the fun and glamour associated with the addictive powder. Lurking beneath the party scene was a violent drug war to keep the cocaine circulating. In 1979 Miami received a disturbing wake up call to this sensational violence when the Dadeland Mall shooting rocked residents after organized crime members carried out a hit in broad daylight in one of the boldest acts of violence during Florida’s war on drugs. Jorge ‘Rivi’ Ayala and an accomplice carried out the Dadeland Mall shooting as a hit on rival drug dealers and became sinister lore for the “cocaine cowboy” brand of drug warfare. Ayala was carrying out orders from none other than the Godmother of the Medellín Cartel Griselda Blanco as he’d become her top assassin. Ayala spent a life in crime going from stealing cars as a teenager to carrying out killings for half a million dollars each as a high-ranking hitman. With two loving and hard working parents focused on raising Ayala when and where did his promising path turn to crime and how did he end up as one of the most notorious hitmen of all time?

Foreigner: Breaking the Band premieres on Tuesday, June 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Formed in New York in 1976 by musical powerhouse Mick Jones Foreigner would become one of the most successful groups of all time as Lou Gramm’s incredible vocals and unique talents helped the band to sell more than 80 million albums. By the mid-1980s their blend of hard rock and atmospheric ballads were a stadium filling success all over the world but behind the scenes their move towards synth-led soft rock most famously the chart topping global hit “I Want to Know What Love Is” had started to create fault lines between musical architect Jones and frontman Gramm. As resentment grew the once tight knit songwriting partnership started to fall apart and when Gramm embarked on a successful solo career. In May 1990 Gramm leaves acrimoniously fracturing the musical heart of the band. It seemed like they would never get back together but music is a powerful force. Helping to tell the Foreigner story is former bassist Rick Wills and current lead singer Kelly Hansen while Gramm in his own words discusses the perfectionist pressure of Jones, the impact of band lineup changes and the series of uneasy truces between him and Jones throughout the years. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Scorpions: Breaking the Band premieres on Tuesday, June 19 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. With more than 100 million albums sold worldwide across an incredible 50 year career German heavy metal giants Scorpions are one of the most successful international rock bands of all time. Now four of the original members including lead singer Klaus Meine, lead guitar Matthias Jabs, drummer Herman Rarebell and founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker tell the story of their meteoric rise from post-war Germany to headlining Madison Square Garden and living out their American dream. After establishing themselves as one of the iconic heavy metal acts of the 1980s the band’s attention turned to geopolitics and Scorpions debuted their massively successful single “Winds of Change” hit just as the Cold War was coming to an end. But as is so often the case when a rock band realizes its ambitions trouble is never far away. As Scorpions members tell it their American dream turned into a heavy metal nightmare with outrageous excess, the weight of expectation for more album sales, disputes over money and power-struggles within the band taking their toll after decades of chart topping and arena filling success. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Award winning video director Nigel Dick and actress Rana Kennedy give insight into shooting Alice Cooper’s iconic “Poison” video and how his late 1980s comeback cemented his legacy as an all time great. Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “‘Baby Joker’ Oscar Cabrera” premieres on Tuesday, June 21 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Growing up Cabrera committed armed robbery before he was 18 years old and was later convicted for another armed robbery and assault. His wayward path eventually led him to become a top enforcer and drug trafficker for Nuestra Familia, a vicious and dangerous gang that was originally formed as a self-protection group for Latinos housed within the California prison system. But as Nuestra Familia grew so did the criminal ambitions of its members. Even when Nuestra Familia leaders were incarcerated they still called the shots from behind prison walls. Any rule breakers of Nuestra Familia were subject to swift gangland justice, intimidation and deadly violence. Nuestra Familia even has governing documents to run the organization like a corporation complete with a constitution. Violence and bigger crimes equal promotion within Nuestra Familia. With his penchant for violence Cabrera rose to the top of the Nuestra Familia. But because of the rules governing member behavior Cabrera couldn’t let it slide when a friend directed a small slight at lower ranking Nuestra Familia members. Cabrera snapped and murdered him in cold blood triggering a special investigation by authorities to hunt him down. Contributing to the story of Cabrera and Nuestra Familia are Henry Montes, Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office, Morgan Chappell, Investigator at Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office and Mike Walker, Gang Investigator in the California Department of Justice.

Skid Row: Breaking the Band premieres on Sunday, June 26 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT. Skid Row burst onto the rock and roll scene in 1989 with a leg up from band co-founder Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo who was childhood friends with Jon Bon Jovi. The pact Sabo and Jon Bon Jovi made ensured that whoever made it big first would bring the other along which led to Skid Row getting a major early boost opening for Bon Jovi. United in their sheer ambition and drive Skid Row stormed the stage and set the charts ablaze selling more than five million copies of the debut self-titled album. Marketed as ‘the new bad boys of rock’ their unpredictable frontman Sebastian Bach did his best to live up to the label. But as tales of controversy stalked them Bach’s behavior began to jeopardize everything the band had worked towards. The charismatic, sex-symbol frontman of the band became a double-edged sword pushing their popularity up but also pushing them closer to the brink of break-up with every Bach outburst worse than the last. As Skid Row became more popular power struggles and clashing egos destroyed the brotherly bond that had propelled them to fame. And a band already self-combusting had no choice but to pull the plug on their nine year rock and roll ride. Giving an unfiltered, first-hand look at Skid Row are original members and co-founders Rachel Bolan and Sabo along with former frontman Sebastian Bach and manager Doc McGhee. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Dawud ‘Cool’ Bey was involved in witness intimidation as a member of the brutal and violent Kaboni Savage Organization that worked the north side of Philadelphia. In Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Dawud ‘Cool’ Bey” on Tuesday, May 3 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Bey himself discusses his turbulent life rising in the criminal ranks, time in prison, turning down a rap music deal with Jay-Z and the moment everything changed for him and he devoted himself to healing the community he once terrorized. While Bey was known as the Intimidator of Philadelphia Butch Jones referred to himself as the Henry Ford of heroin trafficking after molding his Young Boys Incorporated criminal enterprise on the assembly line efficiency of the famous automaker. His infamous run during the late 1970s as one of the worst criminals in the history of Detroit was due in part to his use of teenagers to sell drugs and perform other criminal tasks ensuring senior members of the gang never faced risky street level work. On Tuesday, May 3 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Young Boys Incorporated” delves into the dark deeds of Jones and how he built his Detroit crime empire.

Known as the Eighth Wonder of the World Andre Roussimoff aka Andre the Giant ruled professional wrestling during the 1970s and 1980s using his extraordinary physique at 7’4″ tall and weighing 500lbs. to become rich and eventually a star in Hollywood. Despite his moniker ‘Little Nicky’ due to his small stature organized crime boss Nicodemo Scarfo’s propensity for jarring violence was anything but small. Scarfo created chaos within the Philadelphia mob through treachery, backstabbing and a lot of murder. On Tuesday, May 10 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “‘Little’ Nicky Scarfo” documents his violent rise through the mob ranks and his murderous reign over the Atlantic City gambling scene. If he was a fictional character on the 1970s crime drama series Kojak Scarfo would no doubt have been a tough case for Lt. Theo Kojak. The charming detective with his famous bald head was known for fiercely going after criminals and was played brilliantly by Telly Savalas. On Sunday, May 15 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “Telly Savalas” celebrates his storied career and investigates his final days including what caused the sudden decline in his health as he appeared to be leading a full and busy life just weeks before his passing. So what is the truth behind the death of TV’s favorite detective? Also premiering on Sunday, May 15 is the story of another star who like Savalas exuded a signature magnetism on screen. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “James Garner” at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT shows how he dazzled audiences for more than 50 years starting with his undeniable charm as the cheeky and reluctant hero on 1950s hit Maverick. As a stoic and private man Garner secretly battled with ill health for more than 30 years but what exactly caused his heart to fail and did a lapse in medical care ultimately seal his fate?

He was brash, unstable and violent with connections to John F. Kennedy and Frank Sinatra along with legendary stories straight out of Hollywood including being recruited by the CIA to help assassinate Fidel Castro. Sam Giancana rose to the top of the Chicago based mob called the Outfit in the late 1950s and Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Sam Giancana” on Tuesday, May 17 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT presents his crime legacy that touched presidents, movie stars and the sordid underbelly of the mafia. The lore of Giancana also encompasses Jacqueline Kennedy whose husband John F. Kennedy had a few unsavory connections with the mob boss including having a relationship with the same woman during his marriage. The slight against Jackie would hardly tarnish her legacy as she would become an American icon and admired First Lady symbolizing courage and grace through extraordinary tragedy. On Sunday, May 22 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis” celebrates her remarkable life and examines whether a misdiagnosis played a role in the deadly disease that led to her rapid demise at 64 years old. It would be just five years later that America would again confront the loss of another Kennedy when John F. Kennedy Jr. perished in a plane crash along with his wife and sister-in-law. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “John F. Kennedy Jr.” on Sunday, May 22 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT shows his short but exceptional life emerging from the shadows of his famous father and family to build a life of his own and investigates whether there was something in his medical history that could help explain the accident.

Wrapping May 2022 premieres are the real stories about two of the most vicious killers to ever work in organized crime. On Tuesday, May 24 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Anthony Spilotro” delves into the sordid story of the man intelligence agents said is a “psychopathic thug with no reservations about killing anyone”. Spilotro, who earned such a reputation for his murderous ways, served as inspiration for the villainous Nicky Santoro character played by Joe Pesci in the movie Casino. While Spilotro was known for drawing unwanted attention to mob operations the prolific hitman Chester Campbell operated in the shadows and became one of the most sought after contract killers in organized crime circles. On Tuesday, May 31 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Chester Campbell” profiles the cold-blooded and cunning Detroit hitman who has been described as John Wick combined with Hannibal Lector and an evil James Bond with his 140 IQ and a body count of more than 100 people.

Fox while others were legends of the silver screen including Olivia de Havilland and Ginger Rogers. But instead of sinking The Love Boat beat all the odds with its signature blend of romance, drama and laughs unleashed in increasingly exotic ports of call. Now in The Love Boat: Happily Ever After stars from the show including Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, Cynthia Lauren Tewes, Jill Whelan and Ted McGinley discuss its magic formula and why it wasn’t always smooth sailing on the sometimes floating set. As charming off screen as he was on it Montalbán masked a life-long struggle with chronic pain and a debilitating condition. Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter uses Montalbán’s death certificate and first-hand accounts of his life to uncover the truth behind the devastating heart failure that killed the revered actor. Now Bey gives a first-hand account of life in the KSO as he tours the streets of Philadelphia showing viewers where his life of crime unfolded. The gang led a multi-million dollar operation that distributed illegal narcotics such as PCP, marijuana and cocaine and the KSO was notorious for their tactics of fear, violence and intimidation. In late 2004 Bey was arrested and indicted for running a cocaine manufacturing and distribution with Savage. During Bey’s incarceration a wiretap revealed Bey and Savage talking boldly about violent retribution for anyone testifying against them. At a 2006 federal hearing Bey pled guilty to conspiracy to manufacture and distribute cocaine. At his sentencing hearing prosecutors requested that obstruction of justice be added to his charges. After serving 10 years in prison Bey became a free man in 2014 and is now focused on efforts to rebuild his community and leads an anti-violence program in the community he once terrorized.

Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Young Boys Incorporated” premieres on Tuesday, May 3 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT. Young Boys Incorporated (YBI) was a violent drug-trafficking gang founded in Detroit in the late 1970s and Milton “Butch” Jones, Raymond Peoples and Dwayne Davis rose through the ranks and ran the organization. YBI made a name for itself as a major supplier of heroin during the 1970s and 1980s. At the time their operation was considered innovative because it employed teenage boys to distribute drugs on the streets risking low level members who’d be charged as minors if they were caught instead of senior YBI members who would be sent to prison. In September of 1982 it was alleged that Butch ordered the execution of Davis over a turf dispute. Despite serving time in prison for federal drug charges as well as separate charges for the murder of Davis and another fellow gang member. Upon release Jones continued to be the boss of YBI but his fate was sealed in 2001 when he was indicted on drug charges in Detroit. The case against Jones and his crew members included robberies, kidnapping and murders of rival drug traffickers and he was finally sentenced to 30 years in prison. Sharing his experiences as a former Detroit Police detective who saw the YBI carnage firsthand is James Tolbert along with retired FBI Special Agent Andrew Bartnowak.

It was only a matter of time before the movie industry came calling and in 1986 Andre starred in the fantasy hit The Princess Bride. But privately Andre had been haunted by his size throughout his life. He made no secret of his belief that the world wasn’t made for people of his stature and everything from cars, hotel rooms and airplanes all presented challenges and frustrations. Born in France Andre had grown prodigiously in his late teens. When his size and agility caught the eye of a wrestling promoter his path out of poverty was set. Japan and North America beckoned and the legend Andre the Giant started to grow as did the stories of his phenomenal appetite for alcohol. By the mid-1980s Andre was the star attraction in professional wrestling but what his fans didn’t know was that a rare condition was eroding his once superhuman strength and the clock was ticking on his life. In 1993 after receiving news that his father had just days to live Andre returned to France. Two weeks later Andre had also passed away. Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter analyzes his long medical history and the interviews with close friends and family members to determine the reason for his death. Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “‘Little’Nicky Scarfo” premieres on Tuesday, May 10 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Nicodemo Scarfo was nicknamed “Little Nicky” because of his size at 5’ 5″ tall and weighing 135 pounds but no one dared call him that to his face. More than two dozen mob members or associates were murdered between 1980 and 1985 as Scarfo took control of the Philadelphia mob ushering in a cutthroat era of hits within its ranks. Scarfo was drawn to the limelight as he frequently boasted to associates about the murders he committed and about his status in the underworld. When the streets of Philadelphia turned red hot Scarfo sought refuge in Atlantic City and was perfectly positioned to take advantage of the gambling gold rush after the first Atlantic City casino opened in 1978 but Scarfo had no intention of taking a clean cut of the action. His victims included an Atlantic City municipal court judge, an Atlantic City cement contractor, a longshoreman and several mob associates. Helping to tell the hyperviolent history of Scarfo is former federal prosecutor Louis Picinni, retired FBI special agent Charles “Bud” Warner and writer and former mobster George Martarano.

Before acting he was the first man from Oklahoma to be drafted to the Korean War where he sustained numerous injuries. Garner caught his first acting break by chance after discovering an old friend had become an actor’s agent and it was the role of Maverick catapulted him to Hollywood stardom. He was one of the few actors who made it big in both movies and TV in a time when it was rare to do so. Garner became a folk hero to other actors when he won huge legal battles against two of the biggest studios breaking his contract and clawing back hidden revenues. But behind his success, stoicism and smile there was hidden pain as he secretly battled ill health for more than three decades. Garner suffered from multiple life-threatening conditions and had undergone numerous surgeries and struggled both mentally and physically. Giancana is not only known for his violent acts and his high profile in the media but also his connections to decades long conspiracy theories involving both the Kennedy family and the CIA’s attempted assassination of Fidel Castro. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… “Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis” premieres on Sunday, May 22 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. On May 19, 1994 the world was shocked and saddened by the news that beloved American icon Jackie Kennedy Onassis had died. At 31 years old Jackie was one of the youngest first ladies to enter the White House as John F. Kennedy became president in 1960. Jackie made a huge impression on the nation and the rest of the world leading the stage for many first ladies to come. She became one of the most famous women in the world but behind the fairy tale story was a life of trauma and tragedy. Jackie lost three children including Patrick who lived for only a day. Patrick died just three months before Jackie endured the horrific day in Dallas in 1963 when she sat next to her husband as he was gunned down in front of the world. Then five years later her brother-in-law Bobby Kennedy was also killed and she began to fear for her life and the lives of her children. After marrying eccentric billionaire Aristotle Onassis and stepping away from the intense American media spotlight Jackie overcame her fear and carved out a new life for herself. For 30 years she was a successful book publisher and lived near her two children in New York City. After being diagnosed with the blood cancer Non-Hodgkin lymphoma only months earlier Jackie died at the age of 64. Now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter will examine her medical history factoring in her lifestyle and other health factors to better understand any risk factors that could have played a role. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Kennedy Jr. crashed his Piper Sartoga aircraft into the ocean off Martha’s Vineyard. He died along with his wife Carolyn and her sister Lauren. John was just 38 years old. In a family unusually familiar with tragic death the loss of John was immediately wrapped in the bloody shroud of the Kennedy curse but long before his death John understood and was conscious of this cycle of disaster some of which was self inflicted. If anybody looked capable of outrunning the dark family history it was him. As the world watched him grow into his own success as co-founder of politics-as-lifestyle George magazine many couldn’t resist the idea of a Kennedy returning to White House as it was a narrative that was hard to resist. That all ended with his fatal flight in the summer of 1999. The world had wept at the funeral of his father in 1963 and they wept again as John’s ashes were scattered from a US Navy destroyer off the coast of Massachusetts. His death certificate lists his cause of death as multiple traumatic injuries but John was flying a route he knew well and had flown many times so now renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter will examine any clues in his life and his health record that might help explain what could have played a role on that fateful day. Autopsy: The Last Hours of… is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Spilotro was a soldier and enforcer for the Chicago organized crime group known as the Outfit and was assigned to protect their Las Vegas “skim” of illegal diversions of casino profits to the mob. But instead of keeping the skim running smooth and mob activities out of the news Spilotro couldn’t control his appetite for illegal action and he set up several side schemes including loan sharking and home burglaries to then sell stolen merchandise in thrift stores he opened and ran in Las Vegas. These side hustles began to irk his mob bosses back in Chicago but it was his lust for violence and death that lead to an increase in gangland murders which caught the attention of authorities. Spilotro’s time in Las Vegas would represent the demise of control that organized crime had in the city. His psychopathic thug antics would serve as inspiration for Joe Pesci’s character in the movie Casino but the real man was far more horrific than what audiences ever saw in theaters. Sharing his insight into the dark deeds of Spilotro is former chief of intelligence operations at the DEA Michael Vigil along with John Binder whose book “The Chicago Outfit” details the incredible reach and destruction of the Chicago mob.

On one side was the meticulous and calculated assassin and on the other was a cultured lover of fine arts touring art museums and attending the opera when he wasn’t savagely murdering people. He’s been called the Motor City Undertaker and described as a combination of John Wick, Hannibal Lector and an evil James Bond due to his brutal skillset and passion for stalking his targets from the shadows before murdering them in horrific fashion. Born in 1930 Campbell grew up in Detroit and as a teenager started his law breaking ways committing petty crimes eventually graduating to hard crime. Over a four decade criminal career that began in the mid-1950s Campbell would cement his terrifying legacy as a prolific underworld hitman sought after by mob bosses from major cities. In an FBI file on Campbell he’s listed as having an IQ of more than 140 alongside a body count of more than 100 people. Sharing their stories of Campbell are his niece and nephew along with author, journalist and historian Scott Burnstein and Christian Cipollini, author of “Diary of a Motor City Hitman: The Chester Wheeler Campbell Story”.

The April 2022 lineup begins Saturday, April 2 with the REELZ premiere of real-life series Jail with 10 back-to-back episodes starting at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT following inmates from initial booking to their first moments behind bars giving viewers an eye-opening look at the rough reality of being locked up. Every Saturday in April features 10 episodes of Jail making their REELZ premieres starting at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. The following day on Sunday, April 3 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT it’s The Jackson 5: Breaking the Band exploring the intra-family dynamics of the group that sold more than 100 million records, changed the pop music landscape and introduced the world to Michael Jackson. But beneath the wholesome bubble gum image there was a dark side. There was also betrayal, jealousy and catastrophe. Michael Jackson’s breakout story is echoed by another standout and stellar artist in pop superstar Prince. The Revolution was a band that sprang from his mind that grew bigger than he could have ever imagined. They conquered the world and became stars in their own rite but Prince had a deep lust for control over every aspect of the band and it threatened to destroy everything. In Prince and The Revolution: Breaking the Band on Sunday, April 3 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT former collaborators share stories of his insatiable need to succeed, his uncompromising methods and obsessive approach to everything he touched.

The sinister Chicago-based street and prison gang the Gangster Disciples became infamous for its incredible size and corporate structure with Larry Hoover at the top. Hoover organized 30,000 members selling more than $100 million in drugs a year in Chicago alone. Now in Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Larry Hoover King of the Gangsters” on Tuesday, April 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT hear from the attorneys who prosecuted him as well as Hoover’s own attorney who tell the story of a man who some say was a blessing to the city while others know him for his murderous schemes and flooding the streets with drugs and crime. From the rough streets of Chicago to the dark underbelly Boston the two-part, four-hour Bloody Boston delves deep into the city’s ruthless tribal world that spanned four decades from the 1950s-1990s that included the notorious Winter Hill Gang. In Bloody Boston: A Mob is Born (Part 1) on Tuesday, April 5 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT and Bloody Boston: Deal with the Devil (Part 2) Tuesday, April 12 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT four former Winter Hill Gang members and associates tell all in an exclusive roundtable discussion sharing their experiences of the chaos and what they really think about infamous Boston bad guy Whitey Bulger.

In 1977 five working class boys from England had ambitions to make money playing rock and roll. Now celebrating their 45th anniversary since the band started Def Leppard has become one of the biggest bands in history with more than 100 million records sold. But their success came amidst tragedies that nearly destroyed the band and in Def Leppard: Breaking the Band on Sunday, April 10 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT see their remarkable story with first-hand accounts from those who were with the band in their darkest days. Just a year before Def Leppard formed a little band from Texas set off on a tour so ambitious it would take them to the brink of destruction. The ZZ Top World Wide Texas Tour included live buffalo, longhorn cattle, snakes and vultures to bring a little bit of Texas wherever they went but after 15 months the band was burned out and called it quits only to come storming back in epic fashion. On Sunday, April 10 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT ZZ Top: Breaking the Band presents the story of one of the most iconic bands in history as told by their producer and tour manager who were there from the start.

They were a band of New Jersey rockers who were fun, talented and indulged in the fruits if their fame but they were not equals. They had a leader with an iron grip and for years it made the band Bon Jovi a massive success but it’s ultimately what tore them apart. On Sunday, April 17 Bon Jovi: Breaking the Band at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT tells the story of the band with the motto “we live nowhere and play everywhere” until the relentless pursuit of success jeopardized their future. In her own quest for a different type of success Perrion Roberts didn’t fit the mold of a crime queenpin. Growing up she was a church going daddy’s girl who attended college and worked as a fashion model until she was known as the Black Widow due to her ruthless, cold blooded and deadly approach to running the biggest drug operation in Huntsville Alabama. Now in Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “The Black Widow Perrion Roberts” on Tuesday, April 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT hear from Roberts herself as she discusses her many devious deeds, the irony of feeling relieved after finally being caught and her work now to help prevent others from making the same mistakes she did. As a repeat offender Kansas City criminal Shauntay Henderson might have benefited from Roberts’ advice but the two never crossed paths. On Tuesday, April 19 at 9pm ET/6pm PT Gangsters: America’s Most Evil “Shauntay Henderson: Most Wanted” features an exclusive jailhouse interview with only the eighth woman in 57 years to make the FBI’s Most Wanted list as Henderson tells her side of her story. Henderson describes her love for the street life that ultimately landed her behind bars, how she earned the nickname “Two Guns” and her ominous change of heart for the judge who once gave her a light sentence for a shooting that killed a rival drug dealer.

April 2022 premieres wrap with three back-to-back new original stories starting with Roseanne: Kicked Out of Hollywood on Sunday, April 24 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. In a career spanning more than four decades Roseanne earned fame on her own terms with her caustic wit and working class attitude that made her a trailblazing comic and a star of her own sitcom. She was a rule breaker who never played it safe but with her show at its peak Roseanne tweeted 18 scandalous words that crushed her comeback and got her kicked out of Hollywood. Now in an in-depth and personal account from Roseanne herself as well as her comic colleagues Mo’Nique and Howie Mandel this candid special shows the rise, superstardom and cancel culture casualty of America’s Domestic Goddess. The target of a different type of media storm Lorena Gallo (formerly Bobbitt) made headlines for years after she committed an unthinkable crime that stunned and captivated an entire nation. One shocking act of violence ensured that she would be known for the rest of her life but there was much more to the story as Lorena herself reveals in the new original special Lorena: Escaping Bobbitt on Sunday, April 24 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Lorena shares her story of reclaiming her life and moving forward as most of the world saw her as a villain or a punchline. Lorena also sits down with Amanda Knox to share their experiences of being at the center of intense public attention. In a shocking twist to another sensational story that made headlines Sherri Papini was recently found to have completely fabricated her 2016 kidnapping story. Now the new original special Sherri Papini’s Abduction: REELZ Investigates on Sunday, April 24 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT unravels the Papini story as it unfolded leaving her family and the town of Redding California on edge after her mysterious disappearance and seemingly miraculous return 22 days later garnered national attention and left investigators baffled for years as the case was rife with twists and turns that simply didn’t add up all for a deceptively sinister reason.

Recruited from Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis and the music studio scene of LA this group of talented young musicians were barely out of their teens as they filled stadiums nationwide and won the hearts of fans across the globe. But as The Revolution reached legendary heights Prince’s controlling nature took hold and disagreements and disputes began to dog the once tight knit group. Hoover’s name continues to be controversial as many Chicago residents feel he was a role model to the community while others bemoan his criminal contributions. Boston has long been a ruthless tribal world with criminal kingpins who had their own empires and wise guys who had their own neighborhoods that rivals dare not enter. Now in the two-part, four-hour documentary Bloody Boston go inside the city’s crime battlefield starting in the 1950s with a heist so big and bold it would be known as the Crime of the Century, the violent Irish Gang War of the 1960s, the rise of Bulger in the 1970s, the transatlantic gun running operation and armored car heists of the 1980s and the reckoning in the 1990s when indictments finally started coming down. Def Leppard: Breaking the Band premieres on Sunday, April 10 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. With more than 100 million records sold worldwide Def Leppard is one of the biggest bands in music history. Comprised of five working class boys from England who left their factory town in search of fame and fortune the band changed the sound of rock music and through hard work and determination they earned fame and great riches. But with the highs came terrible tragedies and self destruction until they were hanging on by a thread. Drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in a car accident at the age of 21 and against all odds learned to play with one hand. Then guitarist and musical genius Steve Clark lost his battle with addiction a few years later at just 30 years old. Def Leppard was broken by the loss of Clark but they forged ahead releasing several more successful albums and continued touring to sold out arenas for years to come. Sharing his story of helping Allen learn to play drums one handed is fellow drummer Jeff Rich who discusses the remarkable grit and determination Allen brought to his musical rehabilitation. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

ZZ Top: Breaking the Band premieres on Sunday, April 10 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. ZZ Top is one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. Their unique sense of humor combined with catchy heavy rock songs made them stars and their brand of rock coalesced just as MTV took off helping to make them megastars. Known in the 1970s as That Little Ol’ Band from Texas the blues rockers struggled to gain national recognition. Drug addiction, exhaustion and in-fighting between the three musicians threatened to destroy the band. Out of fame and fortune came further division over the band’s new sound and an even greater threat to their future. Helping to tell the ZZ Top story is their tour manager JW Williams who was there in 1973 when the then unknown band opened for The Rolling Stones as well as the band’s top producer and chief engineer for 17 years in Terry Manning who discusses the changes in their sound and style that brought success and conflict. They were young, fun and good looking but behind the carefree image the band’s namesake and frontman Jon Bon Jovi became a controlling leader with an iron grip who would stop at nothing to ensure its survival. Those who forgot his rules or requirements were replaced. The brand became bigger than the band and Bon Jovi was intent on pushing the limits with grueling non-stop touring and legendary partying that would eventually strain band members to the point of no return. Sharing his experience as songwriter for massive Bon Jovi hits including “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Livin’ on a Prayer” is Desmond Child while the band’s head of security Danny Francis sheds light on their off stage shenanigans and his relationship with Jon. Though there were men in her life who taught her the criminal life at different stages in her hustle Roberts generally had one use for men and that was as soldiers to build her empire. Now years after she was given a full pardon hear Roberts in her own words tell her story including why she was so ruthless and what changed that she now works as a political advisor with a focus on prisoner rights. Once she was in the care of her grandmother a young Henderson was drawn to a life of gangs and drug trafficking. Known in the streets as “Two Guns” her penchant for fist fighting turned into using firearms and a love for high-speed police chases helped contribute to her status as a violent criminal with no regrets about her past. Now in an exclusive jailhouse interview Henderson shares her side of the story discussing why committing crime thrilled her and what she felt after being on the FBI’s Most Wanted List alongside Osama Bin Laden and Whitey Bulger.

Roseanne: Kicked Out of Hollywood premieres Sunday, April 24 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. She did it again with another hit show years later but after a controversial tweet her top rated comeback was canceled and the comedy legend’s career was derailed. Now in a candid new interview the comedy legend gives an in depth and personal account of her life and career, that infamous tweet and her experience of the rapid and volatile banishment from Hollywood that followed. Sharing personal stories of their longtime relationships with Roseanne and reactions to the cancel culture firestorm that engulfed her are comic colleagues Mo’Nique and Howie Mandel as well as former Roseanne Executive Producer Allan Stephan, legendary producer and talent manager Barry Katz and Roseanne’s boyfriend Johnny Argent. Lorena: Escaping Bobbitt premieres on Sunday, April 24 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. After Lorena Bobbitt snapped and cut off her husband John Wayne Bobbitt’s penis with a kitchen knife in 1993 the extensive abuse she had endured from him seemed to sail into that empty field along with the infamous severed organ. Her trauma would barely be an afterthought of the sordid story in the eyes of the public. Remarkably candid revelations from Lorena detail her life inside the hurricane of national attention. And a powerful one-on-one conversation with Amanda Knox enables Lorena to compare the most dramatic kind of notes with another woman who had her life hijacked and redefined by a media frenzy. In addition to Lorena being transparent about the abuse she suffered during her marriage she also reveals that John continues to harass her. Decades after the crime that launched a million punchlines Lorena is now reclaiming her narrative by giving a powerful voice to the traumatic parts of her story that the media and public largely ignored. The world is finally beginning to truly understand that there were two victims in the apartment that night and her story is one of survival and transformation. There was much more to the Bobbitt saga than what the tabloids and late-night comics made people believe. And there’s so much more to the woman at the heart of all the cheap jokes and bitter drama. Lorena: Escaping Bobbitt is produced by AMS Pictures.

Below are detailed descriptions for March 2022 programming listed by premiere date and time:

Three’s Company: The Unknown Story premieres Saturday, March 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. “Come and knock on our door” is the first and unforgettable line of the catchy theme song for Three’s Company. The Unknown Story explores the early days of the show that would eventually run for eight seasons in the late ’70s and early ’80s. While the antics of roommates Jack, Janet and Chrissy are legendary early attempts to find that perfect onscreen chemistry were unsuccessful. After three different pilots were taped for the show the final lineup included Suzanne Somers who became the key puzzle piece alongside John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt. But onscreen comedy gave way to big offscreen drama including the sudden and controversial exit of Somers from the show. Sharing his experience starring as the playboy neighbor and Jack’s best friend in the show, Larry Dallas, is Richard Kline with additional insight and commentary from television historian Jim Colluci and PEOPLE Deputy West Coast Editor Jason Sheeler. The Unknown Story is produced by The Content Group.

Cheers: The Unknown Story premieres Saturday, March 5 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. One of the most beloved sitcoms of the ’80s and ’90s didn’t start off that way. After its 1982 premiere Cheers ranked nearly last in the ratings. Due to a loyal and growing fan base that was eager to see the ups and downs of “will they or won’t they” couple in Sam and Diane played by Ted Danson and Shelley Long the series eventually grew to a top 10 certified hit for eight of its 11 seasons. Cheers spent one season at number one and became one of the most popular series in history with the finale watched by more than 80 million viewers. The Unknown Story celebrates how the show became a true destination for anyone who wanted to go “where everybody knows your name” as well as what was behind the shocking decision by Long to leave the series during its heyday. Sharing their stories from the show are Cheers writer and showrunner Cheri Steinkellner and Cheers writer Ken Levine. The Unknown Story is produced by The Content Group.

Ken and Barbie Killers: The Friends Speak premieres on Sunday, March 6 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. From the outside looking in the relationship between Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka was picture perfect. A beautiful young couple with their whole lives ahead of them. Behind closed doors was another story. Bernardo was a dangerous psychopath who had already committed a string of rapes. Homolka was sucked into the deranged world created by Bernardo and became so entrenched she offered up her own younger sister and other young women to be raped and murdered. Adding to the distressing nature of their crimes is their twisted obsession with filming and re-enacting them. These tapes were ultimately their downfall with Homolka getting off with a light punishment by giving authorities details on Bernardo. Now in The Friends Speak one of Homolka’s childhood friends along with a Bernardo classmate and a man who shared a cell with him speak out about how the Homolka and Bernardo they knew stands in stark contrast to the horrific crimes they committed. The Friends Speak is produced by Kinetic Content and Pyramid Productions.

Jackie Kennedy: A Tale of Two Sisters makes its REELZ premiere Wednesday, March 9 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Jackie was a clever child growing up in an upper class family in New York. Her younger sister Lee was continually trying to emulate her as little sisters do. As the two grew older a competitive element developed but the divorce of their parents brought them closer. Lee beat Jackie to the altar in April 1953 but Jackie then snagged the most eligible bachelor in the country in John F. Kennedy. In 1960 Jackie became First Lady. The responsibility was a great one and Jackie came to rely on her sister especially after the devastating assassination of JFK in November 1963. Once stymied by her unofficial role in the presidential family Lee was now free to pursue her own dreams. She began writing and even launched a short-lived acting career whereas tragedy stalked Jackie. In 1968 Robert Kennedy was assassinated. Perhaps it was that renewed grief that pushed Jackie into a fresh marriage to Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis freed from the Kennedy burden. This came as a particular shock to Lee who had once conducted her own affair with the tycoon as her second marriage disintegrated. The relationship between sisters never truly recovered. While Jackie today remains iconic her sister Lee is less well-known. It is impossible, however, to truly understand the life of one without the other. A Tale of Two Sisters is produced by 3DD Productions.

Amelia Earhart: A Tale of Two Sisters makes its REELZ premiere Wednesday, March 9 at 10pm ET/ 7pm PT. Amelia Earhart and her sister Muriel Earhart grew up in a society that was rapidly changing. Women were beginning to demand their rights and aeronautics was one of the areas where women could flourish as flight was in its infancy and didn’t have a long history of male dominance. From the first moment she was airborne Amelia was hooked and through sheer drive and determination she would become one of the most recognizable aviators in history. Although the two sisters led extremely different lives both were codependent on each other for their unflinching sibling support. To this day many are still trying to solve the puzzle of what actually happened to Amelia. Countless theories have been explored but still her disappearance is an unsolved mystery. Known to Muriel as “A.E.” Amelia had a champion in her younger sister as Muriel would become instrumental in keeping Amelia’s memory alive. This is a role which Muriel’s daughter Amy Kleppner would continue after her death. A Tale of Two Sisters is produced by 3DD Productions.

Star Trek: The Unknown Story premieres Saturday, March 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Star Trek is known as one of the most successful science fiction franchises of all time. The original series which aired from 1966-1969 was just the beginning and since then there have been several spin-off series as well as several movies, countless books and movie merchandise making for an immeasurable and tremendous impact on pop culture. Critics of the series are quick to point out the cheesy special effects and over-the-top acting but there’s no question that it won over audiences. The Unknown Story examines the elements that came together to make the three season original series into a franchise that spans decades and how the ’60s space drama created a new breed of super fans who called themselves “Trekkies” including Bjo and John Trimble who share their stories of organizing the Save Star Trek letter campaign when the show was up for cancellation after two seasons. The campaign was a first of its kind and helped ensure the show would endure. Also discussing the pop culture enterprise is Den of Geek Editor Kayti Burt and Casey Biggs who plays Damar on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The Unknown Story is produced by The Content Group.

R. Kelly: His Friends Speak premieres on Sunday, March 13 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. R. Kelly grew up from a poor, broken home where he was abused by multiple family members and experienced extensive trauma before dropping out of high school. Music was a high point in his life and helped him skyrocket to fame and fortune bringing R&B music to mainstream audiences. Rumors soon began to swirl about his behavior towards underage girls he was mentoring and over time those rumors began to gain traction with various corroborating accounts and video evidence to back them up. Accused of various underage sexual offenses and operating a sex cult R. Kelly was finally arrested and convicted of nine counts of racketeering and sex trafficking. In His Friends Speak three longtime friends including former promoter Felton Collins, ex-girlfriend Carlita Hodges and MGM band member Marcus Darc share details of their time with Kelly and grappling with the many accusations and now conviction of sex crimes involving minors. In their own words they discuss working with Kelly throughout the years including Darc discussing what it was like performing with him and witnessing first hand the obsessive fandom surrounding Kelly. Also sharing his experience with the story is Jim DeRogatis author of “Soulless: The Case Against R. Kelly” and former Chicago Sun Times reporter who was named a key witness in Kelly’s 2008 child pornography trial. The Friends Speak is produced by Kinetic Content and Pyramid Productions.

(Albuquerque, NM) Wednesday, January 19, 2022 – REELZ today announced its February 2022 lineup with new original stories every weekend of the month about towering rockers Jon Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper and KISS stars Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, the hits that made Whitesnake, the band breakups of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and looks at beloved shows I Love Lucy and Gilligan’s Island. February 2022 premieres are anchored by the previously announced original documentary America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List.

“Our February premieres celebrate game changing small screen gems and big stage rockers showing what drove millions of people to watch the Ricardo family in I Love Lucy and the shipwrecked misfits on Gilligan’s Island as well as the endless fascination for rock music and superstar frontmen spotlighted in our new music themed originals,” said Steve Cheskin, SVP of Programming at REELZ. “At the heart of our February lineup are the powerful real stories from the Station nightclub fire as told by those who survived the tragedy, the family members who overcame devasting loss and the community that used the power of music to heal.”

While most frontmen are by nature notoriously wild, unpredictable and full of excess Jon Bon Jovi was instead addicted to the business of music. February 2022 premieres begin with Bon Jovi: Frontman on Saturday, February 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT with a look at how the Bon Jovi founder and lead singer turned one of the most anarchic and decadent lifestyles as a rock star into a corporate leadership role. An uncompromising vision is also at the heart of heavy metal band Iron Maiden with their screeching vocals over a freight train of guitar and spectacular live shows. On Sunday, February 6 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT Iron Maiden: Breaking the Band dives into the battles between founder Steve Harris whose vision for the band clashed with lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson after their meteoric rise was challenged by rising competition in a changing musical world. Immediately following on Sunday, February 6 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT it’s Judas Priest: Breaking the Band about the prolific heavy metal band with their louder, faster, harder style defining a generation of music. But with massive success came life threatening addictions, an accusation of murder and a secret that could destroy the band.

A great band is always defined by its frontman who can be charismatic, egotistical and rarely able or willing to share the limelight. But KISS co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are different. A band of two frontmen with equal billing somehow sharing the stage they became one of the greatest performance bands in rock history. On Saturday, February 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT in a special two-hour episode KISS: Frontmen reveals how Simmons and Stanley made it work and the drastic risks they took to keep the band alive. With more than 30 million album sales worldwide and a series of unforgettable music videos Whitesnake is an enduring and hugely successful British rock band with sing along anthems that became timeless. Whitesnake: Story of Their Songs on Saturday, February 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT presents the stories behind the six songs that defined their career with original members guitarist Bernie Marsden and bass player Neil Murray sharing stories of the group’s early days and the drive they saw in lead singer David Coverdale who engaged in a relentless pursuit of perfection to make the band a success.

On Sunday, February 20 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT it’s the previously announced original documentary America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List presenting the deeply personal stories of lives forever altered by the tragic Station nightclub fire that left 100 people dead, more than 200 injured, and devastated the tight-knit community of West Warwick Rhode Island. It is also a story of the triumph of the human spirit, as seen in a community’s resilience and the recovery and rebirth of Joe Kinan, who was the last survivor pulled from the fire and the most severely burned.

On Saturday, February 26 it’s the premiere of The Unknown Story new original specials with back-to-back stories about the legendary sitcoms I Love Lucy and Gilligan’s Island revealing the brilliant talent and timeless comedy that made both shows popular for generations of fans. First at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT it’s I Love Lucy: The Unknown Story about the six seasons of unforgettable moments that made this TV show a massive hit with stars Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz reinventing television along the way to create a show that is still adored and imitated decades later. Then at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT it’s Gilligan’s Island: The Unknown Story with the incredible story of how exactly a show about seven shipwrecked castaways that no network wanted to air became one of the most recognizable TV shows in the world. And when Gilligan’s Island came to an abrupt end find out why that was both a blessing and curse to its stars and how passionate fandom played a role in changing the fates of the castaways.

Wrapping February premieres is the godfather of shock rock Alice Cooper about the band and the man behind this pioneering force in music and how the alter ego of its lead singer almost became the thing that killed it all. Despite being the son of a pastor, Vince Furnier created the hell raising alter ego Alice Cooper as a wicked edge in the metal music scene of the early 70s with his ominous saying “there were too many rock heroes and not enough rock villains”. On Sunday, February 27 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT Alice Cooper: Frontman dives into his life story from near death experiences and his deep religious faith to memorable hits and unforgettable stage antics.

Jon Bon Jovi: Frontman premieres Saturday, February 5 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. For almost 40 years Jon Bon Jovi has fronted one of the world’s biggest rock bands. With power ballads including “Livin’ On A Prayer” and “It’s My Life” Bon Jovi album sales topped 130 million. Jon Bon Jovi is equally successful as a solo artist and Hollywood actor. Despite mountains of money, global fame and certified rock legend status that often leads to the clichés of drug addictions and bad headlines Jon Bon Jovi took a different route as a laser focused and a highly successful businessman. Frontmen explores the story of the star who avoided the trappings of fame and what led to his disciplined approach to being one of the most successful frontmen of all time. It was also this determined mindset and unwavering dedication to a vision that nearly destroyed what he loved most. Sharing their stories of knowing and working with Jon Bon Jovi are Mercury Records executive Derek Shulman, childhood friend and bandmate Wil Hercek and friend Lonn Friend among others. Frontmen is produced by Honey Bee.

Iron Maiden: Breaking the Band premieres Sunday, February 6 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Formed in the late 70s and racking up more than 100 million album sales British band Iron Maiden have been the undisputed kings of heavy metal for four decades. Loud, proud and famed for their spectacular album covers and take no prisoners approach to performing their stellar rise from the pubs and clubs of London England to the stadiums of the world was due to the uncompromising musical vision of founder and bass player Steve Harris. But that same leadership ignited long-festering tensions especially when the band signed up flamboyant and massively talented lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson. Not only did he constantly push Harris aside to take center stage he had plenty of his own musical ideas as well. As the band grew exhausted touring the world performing its massive shows relentlessly these tensions loomed over the band and ultimately shook Iron Maiden to its very foundations in the early 90s. Sharing their experiences with the band are former guitarist Dennis Stratton and Dave “Lights” Beazley who was the lighting and production designer for their renowned live shows. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Judas Priest: Breaking the Band premieres Sunday, February 6 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. Judas Priest changed the course of rock music and brought a walloping new sound that led to the band selling more than 50 million records worldwide. With a career spanning 50 years they have come to epitomize heavy metal both through their famed ‘two guitar attack’ of dueling lead guitarists and their iconic leather and studs look. But with two lead guitarists vying for control of the group, drug addiction issues, an accusation of murder and a secret kept for decades with the potential to uproot the band after 20 years the group reached its breaking point. In a candid interview Judas Priest co-founder and former guitarist K.K. Downing discusses the battles the band faced including those of lead singer Rob Halford who along with dangerous drug addictions also struggled with mental health. Former members drummer Les Binks and lead singer Tim “Ripper” Owens share their experiences with the band along with original Judas Priest manager Dave Corke. At one point nothing was heard from Judas Priest for five years but the band made a controversial comeback and are still going strong today. But the longevity came at a price as only one of the original members has remained with the band. Breaking the Band is produced by Potato, part of ITV Studios.

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley: KISS Frontmen premieres Saturday, February 12 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. A band is almost always defined by its frontman and normally there is only one of them because of the ego, talent and chemistry that define the role. But KISS has always been different. They have two frontmen in Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley who somehow shared the stage and gave fans a spectacle like no other with fire bombs, smoking guitars and spitting blood all part of their famed act. Both their backgrounds were scarred by childhood trauma and together they created alter egos named the Starchild and the Demon, masked characters that would take on the world. But hiding behind their personas was a recipe for disaster and their soaring ride to the top would face a mighty challenge when sales plummeted leaving Simmons and Stanley to take drastic measures to keep the music playing. This is the story of how two of the most legendary frontmen managed to share a vision and a stage forming a band that became one of the best-selling rock acts of all time with insight from those close to them including former KISS manager Larry Mazer and Stanley’s childhood friend Binky Philips. Frontmen is produced by Honey Bee.

Whitesnake: Story of Their Songs premieres Saturday, February 19 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Spawned from the mind of former Deep Purple frontman David Coverdale the British rock band Whitesnake first appeared on the English music scene in 1978 and would soon achieve global stardom. Story of Their Songs celebrates six of their hits from the hard-hitting rock epics “Love Ain’t No Stranger” and “Still of the Night” to heartfelt groovy ballads “Is This Love?” and “The Deeper the Love” to the heavy blues of “Fool for Your Loving”. It’s a band with an everchanging lineup as they battled against the odds only to emerge with the chart-topping giant “Here I Go Again”. Original members guitarist Bernie Marsden and bass player Neil Murray recall the group’s early days and the drive that they saw in lead singer Coverdale who engaged in a relentless pursuit of perfection. Blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa offers his unique appraisal of what makes the Whitesnake sound so memorable while recording engineer Mike Fraser explains the sonic qualities of Whitesnake’s multi-platinum breakthrough U.S. album “1987”. Emmy Award(R) winning music video director Marty Callner shares his experience directing Whitesnake videos and how model and actress Tawny Kitaen became a vital influence on their huge success. Whitesnake six string legends Adrian Vandenberg and Steve Vai give the low down on their part in helping the band become one of the biggest rock acts on the planet. Story of Their Songs is produced by ViacomCBS International Studios UK.

America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List premieres Sunday, February 20 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. The documentary presents the deeply personal stories of lives forever altered by the tragic Station nightclub fire that left 100 people dead, more than 200 injured, and devastated the tight-knit community of West Warwick, Rhode Island. It is also a story of the triumph of the human spirit, as seen in a community’s resilience and the recovery and rebirth of Joe Kinan, who was the last survivor pulled from the fire and the most severely burned. On the night of February 20, 2003, more than 400 music fans packed into the small Station nightclub. Just seconds after 80s sensation Great White took the stage, pyrotechnics ignited a fire that raced up the walls and across the ceiling of the packed venue. In less than 90 seconds, most of those who hadn’t already made their escape would be trapped inside. They would be burned alive, identified days later only by dental records or tattoos. The Station fire was a perfect storm of human error that became one of the worst nightclub tragedies in U.S. history. It remains America’s deadliest rock concert. Viewers see rare and jarring footage from the first news crews on the scene tasked with reporting the horrific event as victims’ families eagerly awaited news. First responders share their experiences of battling the blaze, treating victims and managing the chaos as it unfolded. America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List explores the Station nightclub fire through gripping survivor accounts and family members and friends of victims who have memorialized their loss through pursuits ranging from an exhibit of commemorative body art to re-immersion in the rock culture that initially brought them and their loved ones to the Station nightclub. Their stories embody courage and deliver inspiration while others depict a much darker aftermath. Great White’s own Jack Russell emerged from the experience a changed man carrying with him the burden of accusation for what transpired that night and in a series of highly revealing interviews he shares his post-fire search for peace after a near two-decade journey of crippling heartbreak and depression as a result of surviving the tragedy. In the afternoon before the concert Russell met many Great White fans in the West Warwick area and graciously added their names to the guest list for the show that night. For many of those fans what appeared to be their lucky day turned out to be their last. Weeks after the fire a charred handwritten notebook page was recovered from the Station nightclub ashes that contained rows of names and above them were the words ‘Guest List’. America’s Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List is produced by Left of Creative.

I Love Lucy: The Unknown Story premieres Saturday, February 26 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. I Love Lucy is one of the best sitcoms in history that broke ground on screen and behind the scenes with the perfect recipe of rare talent, timeless comedy, new technology and a live audience. Stars Lucille Ball and co-star husband Desi Arnaz changed the rules of television and created an empire in the process. The Unknown Story follows Ball as she journeyed from B-movie roles to beloved TV star who along with Arnaz revolutionized what it meant to be a celebrity by using the success of I Love Lucy to form their own studio Desilu Productions which was unheard of at the time. But it wasn’t all glamorous. With the skyrocketing success of the show, their flourishing studios and a growing family, the pressure on their marriage also increased and it would put Lucy and Desi on vastly different paths. TV and entertainment experts Jamie Rubenstein, host of PEOPLE Every Day podcast, Tom Gilbert, co-author of “Desilu: The Story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz” and The Hollywood Reporter Chief TV Critic, Daniel Fienberg help tell the story of I Love Lucy including its many firsts from reaching 10 million homes, the rerun and an onscreen pregnancy. The Unknown Story is produced by Asylum Entertainment.

Gilligan’s Island: The Unknown Story premieres Saturday, February 26 at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT. While only airing for three seasons Gilligan’s Island became one of the most unlikely and enduring television shows ever made. Even now in the decades following the series the fandom has taken on a life of its own welcoming fans to ask themselves the irresistible question, “What would I do if I was stuck on the island?” The Unknown Story goes beyond the island and back to the beginning from the series’ complicated casting and disastrous first pilot episode that nearly sunk the show before it aired to that catchy and memorable theme song, backstage drama among the cast and the abrupt cancellation that blindsided fans. The special also reveals the unwavering persistence from Gilligan’s Island creator Sherwood Schwartz to continue and complete the story for fans through a series of TV movies. Sharing their unique experiences watching the show and its TV movies come together from the inside are two of Schwartz’s children Lloyd Schwartz and Hope Juber. Also sharing their insight is television historian Jim Colucci and author Joey Green who wrote The Unofficial Gilligan’s Island Handbook. The Unknown Story is produced by Asylum Entertainment.

Alice Cooper: Frontman premieres Sunday, February 27 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Famous for hits including “I’m Eighteen”, “Poison” and the game changing anthem “School’s Out” frontman Alice Cooper shocked and scandalized his way to stardom. He started life as Vince Furnier, an all-American son of a pastor, but rose to fame in the early 70s as his hell raising onstage alter ego Alice Cooper adopting and crafting a role as a rock music villain. His bloody stage antics and outrageous persona made him beloved by kids and hated by parents. But behind the scenes the demonic character of Alice Cooper would ultimately consume him as Vince Furnier began to confuse the two characters blurring the lines in dangerous fashion hitting rock bottom when he used so many drugs that his eyes bled and his wife threatened to divorce him. Even after he emerged from the experience sober it wasn’t long before the demons of the Alice Cooper character return and threaten to end it all. This is the extraordinary story of the man who would become the godfather of shock rock with personal stories from college friend Linda Thompson Smith, fellow rockers Doro Pesch and Dee Snider along with Alice Cooper guitarist Ryan Roxie. Frontmen is produced by Honey Bee.

Below are detailed descriptions for January 2022 programming listed by premiere date and time:

Affluenza Teen: The Friends Speak premieres on Saturday, January 8 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. From birth Ethan Couch was raised in a bubble of wealth, privilege and lack of consequences. His reckless teenage behavior escalated out of control in a series of incidents that culminated in Couch driving drunk and killing four people while also severely injuring nine more. During his trial and sentencing a radical defense of “affluenza” was presented and became a self-fulfilling prophecy. Couch received a lenient sentence when a jury agreed that he had been sheltered by wealth his entire life and did not develop a sense of consequences and morals. Now in Affluenza Teen: The Friends Speak people intimately connected to the story sit down to share their experiences including Kevin McConnell who was first on the scene of the crash which also injured his son Lucas. Joining him are his other son Sheldon and Tim Williams who were both at the scene and whose friend and youth pastor Brian “BJ” Williams died in the crash. Together they discuss processing the horrors of the scene, that dubious probation only sentence, the role of Couch’s parents in the tragedy and why Tim decided to meet with Couch in jail. Also interviewed are investigative journalist Mark Ebner discussing the public outcry surrounding the case and forensic psychiatrist Dr. Eric Bender who discusses the “affluenza” defense from a clinical perspective. The Friends Speak is produced by Kinetic Content and Pyramid Productions.

Scott Peterson: The Friends Speak premieres on Sunday, January 9 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. Scott Peterson met Laci while frequenting a local diner and it was love at first sight. But their storybook love quickly wilted behind the scenes with Scott’s multiple affairs none of which Laci knew about. With his pro-golf career ambitions gone Scott set about creating a new life with Laci in the suburbs of Modesto California and start their idyllic family story. But for him the dream was more of a nightmare and he wanted out. On Christmas Day in 2002 pregnant 27-year-old Laci disappeared from their home. The investigation into her disappearance turned into a major media spectacle and later spawned countless magazine cover stories, TV movies and books. A few months later the bodies of Laci and her unborn son were found washed ashore in an area Scott said he went fishing the day Laci went missing. All signs pointed to Scott who was sentenced to death and is now serving life in prison despite his continuous pleas of innocence. Now in Scott Peterson: The Friends Speak six people involved with the story share their experiences including Laci’s friends Debbie Wolski and Mika Anderson, Scott’s college coach Hugh Gerhardt, reporter Julia Prodis Sulek who covered the story and Modesto Detective Jon Buehler and FBI Dive Team leader Bobby Chacon who both worked on the Peterson case. The Friends Speak is produced by Kinetic Content and Pyramid Productions.

The Chicago Mob: Deadly Associates premieres on Saturday, January 29 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. On September 27, 1974 federal informant and businessman Danny Seifert was gunned down in broad daylight. The crime wasn’t so surprising at the time since, after all, this was life in the mob circles of Chicago and Seifert was in deep with the organized crime outfit that controlled the city. What was surprising was that the gunmen left two living witnesses in Danny’s wife Emma and their young son Joey. Together, Emma and Joey began a 30-year quest for justice that stretched from the mean streets of Chicago to the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. As Joey grew older he began to ask questions. Who killed his father? Why was no one ever brought to justice? Is anyone still looking for the killers? These questions consumed him. By day Joey was a loving father and hardworking family man but like his father he led a double life. If nobody was going to bring his father’s killers to justice Joey was prepared to take the law into his own hands. This is a story of ambition, betrayal and revenge but most of all it’s the story of how one family did the impossible in helping to bring down the venerable Chicago mob. The Chicago Mob: Deadly Associates is produced by Octane Rich Films and FlashRock Films.
