OUR FAVORITE PARTY GIRLS ARE BACK!

YOLO: Silver Destiny Arrives Jan. 15 On Adult Swim, Next Day On HBO Max

Adult Swim returns to the weird world of Wollongong when YOLO: Silver Destiny debuts Sunday, Jan. 15 at Midnight on Adult Swim, and the next day on HBO Max.

From Michael Cusack, the co-creator of SMILING FRIENDS, the follow-up to YOLO: Crystal Fantasy sees the return of Australia’s favorite party girls, Sarah (Sarah Bishop) and Rachel (Todor Manojlovic), who are still looking for fun times, new experiences, positive vibes, and hot guys in the bizarre town of Wollongong.

YOLO: Silver Destiny begins when a chance encounter at a Sausage Sizzle sets the girls off in pursuit of their destinies – Sarah wants to grow a beautiful garden, and Rachel wants to become a dark Empress. Meanwhile, Lucas the Magnificent embarks on a mysterious new quest to overcome Sarah’s repulsion and win her heart.

Giving a hint for what’s to come Cusack explains: “In season two we find Sarah and Rachel continuing on their quest for good times and positive vibes. I can’t wait for fans to join them on all their strange, new Wollongong adventures as their fantasies become their destinies.”

YOLO: Crystal Fantasy regularly won the half-hour across basic cable among adults 18-24, 18-34, and 18-49. Additionally, new episodes of the series beat the key late-night competition by mostly double and triple digits with those same adult demos.

The first two episodes of YOLO: Silver Destiny will premiere back-to-back on Jan. 15 at Midnight, with one new episode premiering weekly thereafter.

The quarter-hour animated series is produced by Laura DiMaio with Line Producer Paul Moran. Executive Producers include Cusack, Mike Cowap, and Emma Fitzsimons. The series is produced by Princess Pictures with animation services provided by Monkeystack.

Stream New Seasons Of THE WHITE LOTUS, PENNYWORTH: THE ORIGIN OF BATMAN’S BUTLER, FIXER UPPER: THE CASTLE and THE VOW, PART TWO

HBO Max announces everything coming to the platform this October including the return of the Emmy(R)-winning series THE WHITE LOTUS (10/30). The second installment is set at an exclusive Sicilian resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.

The month also brings season three of PENNYWORTH: THE ORIGIN OF BATMAN’S BUTLER (10/6), which follows Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier, who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with young billionaire Thomas Wayne and his wife Martha, before they become Bruce Wayne’s parents. BATMAN: THE AUDIO ADVENTURES (10/7), the Webby Award-Winning original scripted podcast, will also return for a second season.

FIXER UPPER: THE CASTLE (10/14), the highly-anticipated new project from Chip and Joanna Gaines, will debut concurrently on Magnolia Network, HBO Max and discovery+. Chip and Joanna take on their biggest fixer yet: the famous castle in Waco, Texas. As they breathe new life into the historic landmark, they must also tackle its challenging infrastructure while preserving its original beauty.

THE VOW, PART TWO (10/17) returns with a rare view into Keith Raniere’s innermost circle, including NXIVM co-founder Nancy Salzman. It follows the legal and emotional journeys of the group’s founders, supporters, and defectors as new evidence and stunning revelations come to light, while federal prosecutors and defense attorneys engage in a trial in the national spotlight.

WAHL STREET (10/6), returns for a second season and Mark Wahlberg’s life as he juggles the demands of a rigorous film schedule and hustles to expand his blossoming business empire -including gym studio F45, clothing line Municipal, production company Unrealistic Ideas, and, of course, Wahlburgers. Facing numerous difficult decisions amid the global pandemic, Mark is driven to make movies better, people healthier, burgers tastier, and clothes trendier – all while prioritizing his most important roles as husband and father. WAHL STREET offers up Mark’s powerful business insights and life lessons, while showcasing the cast of colorful characters that make up his real-life entourage.

AVENUE 5 (10/10), returns for a second season and is set forty years in the future when traveling the solar system is no longer the stuff of sci-fi fantasy, but a booming, multibillion-dollar business.

YVONNE ORJI: A WHOLE ME. (10/1) showcases Orji’s range and vulnerability, while also serving as a no-holds-barred therapy session for both the artist and the audience in a beautiful mix of heart, humor and healing. She uses therapy as a thruline to discuss her evolving thoughts on friendship, dating, adulting, and why guys need better friends.

GARCIA! (10/28) follows Antonia, a young reporter who quickly becomes embroiled in an elaborate political conspiracy after accidentally defrosting a cryogenically frozen secret agent from the 1960s. Finding himself thrust into a fractured modern world, Garcia, a former pawn in fascist dictator Francisco Franco’s regime, must rely on Antonia’s help to fit in – and decide where his loyalties lie amid a conspiracy to upend the Spanish government. Thrilling and fast-paced, GARCIA! spans six decades in Spain’s tumultuous political history, seamlessly blending satire and suspense for a genre-bending adventure of epic proportions.

BATWHEELS (10/18), DC’s first-ever Batman preschool series rolls onto Cartoonito on HBO Max with a high-speed, vibrant CGI-animated iteration of the Caped Crusader. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the series follows a group of young sentient super-powered vehicles as they defend Gotham City alongside Batman, Robin, and Batgirl.

“Batwheels” Premieres Monday, Oct. 17 on Cartoonito on Cartoon Network; Next Day on Cartoonito on HBO Max

DC’s First-Ever Batman Preschool Series Incorporates a “Hero” Curriculum, Teaching Young Viewers about Heroism, Friendship, Teamwork and Self-Confidence

Cartoon Network and HBO Max announced today “Batwheels” will officially zoom onto television screens beginning Monday, Oct. 17. The first seven episodes will premiere on Cartoon Network’s Cartoonito preschool block at 9:00 a.m., before streaming the following day on Tuesday, Oct. 18 on the Cartoonito hub on HBO Max. A new series trailer was also revealed today.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, “Batwheels” marks DC’s first-ever Batman preschool series, offering young viewers a high-speed, vibrant CGI-animated iteration of the Caped Crusader. Little ones and their families will ride along with an amazing team of super-vehicles – Bam (the Batmobile), Bibi (the Batgirl Cycle), Redbird (Robin’s racecar), Buff (the Bat-Truck), and Batwing (the Bat-plane) – as they help Batman, Batgirl, and Robin keep the streets of Gotham City safe. Whether it’s facing down the Legion of Zoom or one of Gotham City’s notorious Super-Villains, the Batwheels will use their incredible gadgets and creative teamwork to save the day.

Underneath the superhero adventures, “Batwheels” will teach children about what it means to be a hero through its unique “Hero” curriculum. The curriculum aligns with Cartoonito’s Humancentric Learning framework that encourages kids to become the best version of themselves. Every “Batwheels” episode will demonstrate a different character strength – self-awareness, concern for others, perseverance, and courage, among others – in overcoming personal and interpersonal challenges and will model how heroes contribute to the greater good.

“Batwheels” will also showcase the value of friendship and teamwork and illuminate the rewards of these skillsets. Moreover, the series will teach children that while each vehicle has super abilities, the more important capacities that fuel their heroism are rooted in their intrinsic character strengths, knowing how to be a good friend and ability to work as a team.

Parents can learn more about the “Batwheels” hero curriculum and access resources to help extend the learning offscreen by visiting the Cartoonito Parent website.

The all-star voice cast includes:

· DC Super Heroes: Ethan Hawke (as Bruce Wayne/Batman), AJ Hudson (as Duke Thomas/Robin), Leah Lewis (as Cassandra Cain/Batgirl)

· Batwheels: Jacob Bertrand (as Bam), Jordan Reed (as Redbird), Madigan Kacmar (as Bibi), Noah Bentley (as Buff), Lilimar (as Batwing), Kimberly D. Brooks (as The Batcomputer), Mick Wingert (as Moe)

· Legion of Zoom: Xolo Maridueña (as Snowy), Griffin Burns (as Prank), Alexandra Novelle (as Jetstah), Josey Montana McCoy (as Quizz), Ariyan Kassam (as Ducky), SungWon Cho (as Badcomputer), Tom Kenny (as Crash)

Sam Register (Looney Tunes Cartoons) serves as executive producer. Michael G. Stern (Doc McStuffins) serves as co-executive producer, Simon J. Smith (Penguins of Madagascar) is supervising producer, and Steven Fink of Bang Zoom Ltd. is the producer. Based on characters from DC, Batwheels is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.
