When Captain Ed Mercer and the crew of the U.S.S. Orville come face-to-face with one of humanity’s most vile ideologies, they must solve the moral conundrum of who to hold accountable for evil deeds real… and imagined. Occurring just after New Horizons Episode 8, this is The Orville like you’ve never seen it before.

The cover art is an original piece from Bill Sienkiewicz, Eisner-winning, Emmy-nominated artist best known for revamping the style of comic and graphic novel illustration (Marvel Comic’s Elektra: Assassin, acclaimed graphic novel Stray Toasters, advertising campaigns for Nike, MTV and Nissan). The audiobook will be narrated by a familiar face and voice across fandoms, Bruce Boxleitner (“Tron,” “Babylon 5”).

The Orville: Sympathy for the Devil will be available in ebook and audiobook on July 19, 2022, perfectly timed to be enjoyed in-between episodes of “The Orville: New Horizons” airing on its new home on Hulu.

“The Orville: New Horizons” is produced by 20th Television and Fuzzy Door. The series was created and written by Seth MacFarlane. MacFarlane, Brannon Braga, David A. Goodman, Jon Cassar, Jason Clark and Howard Griffith serve as executive producers.
