Stephen Mangan as Nathan, Nicola Walker as Hannah
Season two of Sundance TV’s The Split, premieres on Thursday, May 21st at 12:00am ET/PT. Hannah and Nathan’s marriage seems to be back on track, but she still can’t forgive Nathan for his past indiscretions and is continuing her relationship with Christie in secret. With pressure mounting on her in her personal life, Hannah meets a new client at work who needs her help, TV presenter Fi Hansen. While Hannah, Nina and Christie negotiate the new world order of Noble Hale Defoe, Ruth comes to terms with a different pace of life, and Zander introduces an unsettling new colleague to the firm.
Set in the fast-paced, messy world of London’s high-end divorce circuit, The Split is an authentic, multilayered, witty examination of modern marriage and the legacy of divorce. Exploring the often-complex realities that bind families together, and tear them apart, the series follows the three Defoe sisters, Hannah (Nicola Walker), Nina (Annabel Scholey) and Rose (Fiona Button) and their formidable mother Ruth (Deborah Findlay).
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife Hilarie Burton Morgan at home in New York State April 2020
A new episode of Friday Night In with The Morgans, a half-hour video-chat-based show hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead) and his wife Hilarie Burton Morgan (One Tree Hill) from their farm in upstate New York, airs on Friday, May 22nd at 10:00pm ET/PT.
In Friday’s episode, the Morgans are joined by Samantha Morton (The Walking Dead), Patton Oswalt (BoJack Horseman, Ratatouille) & his wife, Meredith Salenger and local teacher, Liz Yearwood, via video chat to discuss handling life in quarantine, practically helping communities, finding joy and even humor in these unprecedented times.
Nicola Walker as Hannah
Season two of Sundance TV’s The Split, continues late night Friday, May 22nd at 12:00am ET/PT. In Friday’s episode, Hannah feels increasingly stressed by the double life she is leading with Christie, as Nathan’s suspicions are raised. Hannah’s absence at home starts to affect the children, who need their parents’ attention more than ever. At work, Hannah deals with a divorce petition for the wife of a romantic novelist, and begins to equip Fi Hansen for her separation from husband Richie, negotiating a complex case within the midst of a media storm. Meanwhile, Rose deals with the devastation of her miscarriage, Nina comes to terms with her surprise pregnancy, and Ruth reconnects with someone from her past.
Martin Composton as Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, Adrian Dunbar as Superintendent Ted Hastings
Season one of Acorn TV’s hit British police drama, Line of Duty, continues on Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 pm ET/PT. In Saturday’s episode, targeted while in prison, Denton confides to Fleming why she thinks she is being set up. Meanwhile, the mutilated body of a teenage girl is found buried under a collapsed garage door.
Season two features a new police corruption story – opening explosively with the ambush of a police convoy in which three police officers are killed and a protected witness is seriously injured. The sole surviving police officer is Detective Inspector Lindsay Denton (Keeley Hawes). Deputy Chief Constable Mike Dryden (Mark Bonnar) takes personal charge, assigning AC-12 to the case. Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, Detective Constable Kate Fleming and Superintendent Ted Hastings are joined by newly-appointed Detective Constable Georgia Trotman (Jessica Raine) to investigate a complex case rich in unexpected twists and turns. Initially AC-12’s most valuable witness, the suspicion soon arises that DI Denton could be their prime suspect.
Line of Duty is written by Jed Mercurio (Bodyguard, Critical), and produced by World Productions for BBC Two. Mercurio, Simon Heath (The Great Train Robbery, The Bletchley Circle) and Stephen Wright serve as executive producers.
A new episode of AMC’s weekly digital series, Bottomless Brunch at Colman’s, a 30-minute video-chat based show hosted by Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead, Zola, Candyman) from his home in Los Angeles, will be available on The Walking Dead YouTube Channel on Sunday, May 24th at 2pm ET/11am PT. Guests in the fourth episode include Jay Ellis (Insecure) and Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog). Viewers can also watch the show at amc.com or the Fear the Walking Dead Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.
The new digital series taps into Domingo’s favorite way to stay connected to his community of family and friends – brunch – and takes it virtual. Prior to his career as a writer, actor and director, Domingo worked in the service industry — and his love of bar and restaurant life has never left him (he is also the owner of the restaurant The Wolves in downtown LA). In each week’s episode, Domingo will send a couple of his friends all the mixings for his cocktail of choice, ask them to make something delicious and invite them to join him for a virtual brunch to talk about life today and how they are coping.
Harriet Walter as Dasha and Jodie Comer as Villanelle
Season three of BBC America’s hit Killing Eve continues on Sunday, May 24th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on BBC America and AMC. In Sunday’s all-new episode, “Beautiful Monster,” Carolyn is frustrated with the lack of progress in the investigation and is taking it out on those around her. Meanwhile, Eve is focused on Villanelle and finds a clue to her whereabouts in the most unlikely of places. Villanelle and Dasha work together on a kill and the pressure is getting to Konstantin.
The third season continues the story of two women with brutal pasts, addicted to each other but now trying desperately to live their lives without their drug of choice. For Villanelle, the assassin without a job, Eve is dead. For Eve, the ex-MI6 operative hiding in plain sight, Villanelle will never find her. All seems fine until a shocking and personal death sets them on a collision course yet again. The journey back to each other will cost both of them friends, family, and allegiances…and perhaps a share of their souls.
Logan Allen as Harold in Creepshow’s “The Companion”
Season one of Shudder’s hit horror anthology series Creepshow continues on Monday, May 25th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. The fourth episode features two stories, “The Companion,” written by Joe R. Lansdale, Kasey Lansdale & Keith Lansdale, adapted by Matt Venne and directed by Dave Bruckner, and “Lydia Layne’s Better Half,” written by John Harrison & Greg Nicotero, adapted by John Harrison and directed by Roxanne Benjamin.
